Leeds, so far so good Empty Leeds, so far so good

The appointment of Diccon Edwards seems to be shaping up pretty well with lots of reassuring noises coming out of the club about youth development and building on local (academy) talent. The return of Joe Ford is a very positive sign and supports what is being said. Truly hope Edwards can create a different kind of ethos from that of Back. A team with a lot of home grown talent has got to be good for supporters and attendances.

The question is, can we build a potential Premiership side this way? I really hope so.

Fingers crossed for the future.

Here, here, good to see the ship steadying up at Leeds. The re-signing of Andy Titterrell and his appointment as club captain can only be good news too? thumbsup

Leeds will do well to mix experience with the excellent academy graduates they have. Create a core out of guys like Phil Swainston, Tom Denton, Jacob Rowan, Dan White, Joe Ford, Curtis Wilson and Pete Wackett.

If they really work to to engender a team spirit they may be able to fend off other clubs from raiding their players next year.
