Geez it’s dead on here...2017-18 season thread.
Where are all the die hard NBA boys at?
Any how, the blockbuster trade has been completed. Boston Celtics have traded away Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic(and Brooklyn's 1st round pick in 2018) to Cleveland Cavaliers for the acquisition of Cavaliers superstar Kyrie Irving.
For my money this trade is more shocking than Kevin Durant move last season.
I think the Celts will be dominant in the eastern conference

Huge trade and I'm a bit gutted Kyrie didn't go to San Antonio.
Cavs have downgraded for sure. Thomas is older, not as good driving in and he's a pretty awful defender. But that draft pick could end up being pretty huge.

As no one bothered I’ll do the honours. New season started in the early hours. Cleveland @ Boston. Kyrie vs LeBron. Cavaliers edges passed the Celtics in a game marred by Boston superstar Gordon Hayward breaking his ankle. Cavs 102-99 Celts
Elsewhere the reigning champions Golden State blew a 15pts lead in the fourth quarter against Houston. It was an epic collapse by the warriors

Lonzo Ball made his long awaited nba debut last night and was taught a lesson by Blake Griffin’s Clippers. Clippers 108-92 Lakers.
Elsewhere San Antonio won their opening match and Houston are now 2-0 after backing up theit win over Warriors with another win over the Kings.
Also Jeremy Lin has ruptured his knee tendon. His season is over

Lonzo Ball was on fire last night against the Sacramento Kings. In only his second NBA match, Lonzo fell one assist short of becoming the youngest player to land a triple double. Lonzo ended up 29pts, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Lakers edged the Kings 132-130.
Reigning champions Golden State are up and running with a 128-120 Road win over New Orleans. Warriors still not firing properly.
Chris Paul has a knee injury and could miss 4 weeks. NBA season should be the injury season

James Harden has recorded the first 60-point triple-double in NBA history.
