Yes Trebs but im pretty sure people are going to want to lawyer players anyway so im hoping that will allow people to move the squad number down quite easily.

Is everyone fine with the following schedule wise -

Start of new gameweek Tuesday's 9am, TP's open from then until Thursday midnight - any players who are transferred in that time will be allowed to play, any after the cut off will not be able to play for you in that gameweek

Then tactics due in by Friday midnight with the intention for votes to be in by Monday midnight

So we all need to be down to a squad of 25 by Thursday night?

My tactics will be in for a saturday night on that schedule due to work. I would do them on Thursday but it wouldn't make sense to do that incase my opponent buys a player and slots him in.

I'm gonna stockpile then for the first week or two. Gives me an unfair advantage when it comes to injuries innit.

You can try, but I'm making it so only admin can post on the page for the first 5 mins

TP Bidding was a good idea in principal but people could get out of it by not confirming the players. People are going to miss out on players sure but that should encourage domestics.

Marky, i think you are joking but i hope you aren't going to do that, if we allow leniency for the first week or 2 then id hope it would be respected.

Just make a rule and stick to it. Leniency on the squad limits will be rightly abused.

People to be voting differently, so we need 3 voters per week however i want the voters to alternate on the games ideally.

So it's 4 matches, with 1 person (the one not playing) voting on all games and being in charge of receiving/posting tactics/votes that week

And then everyone else voting on one game (not their own) each.

I'll try and mix it up so people aren't voting on the same team too much, but it adds an extra layer of complexity that might just blow my mind!

Though you'd then only be able to get 2 lawyers and 2 releases the week after to get you down to 33 and god knows what would happen then???

Alright final decision taking in what you both said, by gameweek one you should have 25 players in your squad

Either way it shows Miky would be better off making it 25 before the season starts instead of being lenient.

We will say the squad cut off as lawyers will be up tuesday with tps ideally

So people can actually sell players for a decent price

That's one of my problems with enforced caps on releases/purchases per week is that you can quickly end up doing a 'Nadz' of releasing a few too many players and it takes a long time afterwards of not accepting any lawyers and buying chaff to bulk your squad out again.

I'm happy to be the person people send votes to each week.

I say no. Can release 2 and lawyer 2 can't you? Surely that's sufficient.

Well it would be nice if you at the very least showed you had processed my suggestions, whether you agree with them or not.

I'm getting a bit sick of being ignored to be honest - it's happening time and time again.

Trebs, your suggestions are always good and fair but i can't see the benefit of it, there's no point allowing 5 releases mate if we can't add back to the squad. Nadz had the issue in one of the last leagues where he ripped his squad apart and didnt have enough to replace it, i don't want that. I want every team to be competetive so they don't have to even think about quitting the league.
