I forgot to take in account my budget at mo.
13.5 and Vardy? That is the top I can do unfortunately.

Re: Melbourne Victory
As honest as ever Afro.
Well it boils down to do you need cash to improve other areas. If so would Vardy plus 13.5m be used to do that knowing you don't have to get a replacement for Silva compared to you just accepting his lawyer offer.
Only you can decide mate. I'm in the same predicament which is why I'm having to do the maths. If I could I would probably offer you more to seal the deal now. But unfortunately I can't so it's that or nothing.

Re: Melbourne Victory
I'm sure you would mate but Pellegri staying put
I think you need to step back, get the laptop whirling and the notepad out and do some number crunching. Not going to force you to make a decision hastily.

It still stands because I can release Ljajic or go for my other TM target.
But if part with Pellegri the cash goes right down my end.

5.9m or 6.4 if Olly does press conference.
Shall we leave it tonight? Footies on and trying not to be anti social round my mates by being on my phone!

Lozano seems to be another one of those that'll come back to bite Utd on the ass, he was pretty much begging Utd to buy him last summer.

Nothing at moment as he is my best CB. I did toy with the idea of a swap with iniesta but would be Kevin Keegan like tactics for the rest of my games!

Re: Melbourne Victory
That's ok. I just checked and he has held his value at 270k since June, and with a recheck but no increase in October 22nd. That's even when starting all of Bilbao games and a new contract.
I'm not saying his price won't increase but it's not going to go up hugely. Maybe to 4.5m (which is TMs value of choice for young players it seems!) Plus you have to wait a few months until you can promote him to first team to get any benefit.
So what I'm saying (excuse the essay) is I'm preparing to give you cash now for him. Which I think helps you more with other deals?
At the moment I have 700k. PC will raise that to 1.2m. Then I'm planning to raise funds in other ways but not guaranteed.
So how about 1.2m for him?

Re: Melbourne Victory
Well from my point of view, hes a quality young CB who I signed for £15.3m, if I were to sell him I would want a profit as does everyone in the league.

Re: Melbourne Victory
No worries - wasn't sure if it was a numbers thing or being a fan of Sanabria.
I'm on the fence with Abate, I do need some defensive cover but not sure whether to go out and sign a top class one instead

Re: Melbourne Victory
Would you be interested in a season long loan move for Milinkovic-Savic? Rather not go into games without a sub goalkeeper and done all my TPs
Willing to give you 100k for the loan?

What if it was Lozano instead of the cash?

Re: Melbourne Victory
£45m worth of players for an irreplaceable £40m player tbh. I wouldn't add my £2.6m to the deal.

Re: Melbourne Victory
No worries.
He's only irreplaceable while there's a cap on TM values, so I'd argue he is irreplaceable but only for a couple of months!
If I offered the £2.6m would you go for it?
Andre Silva + Lozano + Vinicius Jr = Jesus + £2.6whateverM

As far as I'm concerned it's a deal. Confirm if you are happy. Let me know if not.

Re: Melbourne Victory
Not sure "officially" .....first loan move in league.
But so it stands between me and you I took it as the end of season 1. He returns week 1 of season 2
