Good episode, much more sense in their journey to Survivor Series.
Weird time to end Jinder...not sure I agree with it. Clearly ideas changed

Rumour is he’s injured.

Re: Smackdown spoilers
Perfect time to end this Jinder fiasco, injured or not, now you have top stars of each brand as the main men, it's all very well WWE telling us both shows are equal but Brock vs Jinder doesn't suggest equality, Brock vs AJ screams it though.
A show is only as strong as it's Main Event scene and SmackDown Live can now potentially be the best brand

Re: Smackdown spoilers
So we have
Angle, Strowman, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Jason Jordan vs Shane, Jumpin' John, Nakkers, ROOOOOOOOOO and Orton.
Pretty strong teams. Would still prefer to not have Kurt and Shane in there though.

Does remind me a bit of Survivor Series 2001 and WWF v The Alliance, when Shane and Vince were on their respective teams but Vince replaced himself with Big Show

THE ALLIANCE featuring 3 WWF guys. That was a great match but jesus it could have been so much more.

I'd agree if they'd done it in a normal way, rather than building a Jinder vs Brock feud and then giving AJ a title win on Smackdown.
The right end could have cut the legs off a really interesting Styles vs Brock feud

Re: Smackdown spoilers
At least they have been making a big deal out of how its the first title change overseas and more interestingly the first title change on Smackdown since a certain wrestler took it off Kurt Angle
(obvs that guy was Brock)

Didn't Orton win it from Christian on a Smackdown?

Injuries are injuries, so I won't blame them. Interesting to see whether Styles going into an all of a sudden feud with Brock is the right choice.

I guess it was overlooked because that was the WHC even if it merged

Re: Smackdown spoilers
I’m yet to see anything regarding Jinder being injured. He’s even addressed them himself.
I think it’s another case of the dirtsheets and leaks marking them change angles. Cena was well publicised to be on Ref duty that night and it didn’t seem like it was well received.
From a storyline perspective it makes senses. Jinder gets nothing from losing to Brock. Nobody would believe a creditable showing and a screwy match with the Singh’s interfering would sour it. Likewise, it wouldn’t do anything for Brock losing.
At least with AJ they can have him try his hardest and maybe even save him with Jinderference.

Re: Smackdown spoilers
I don’t think it’s the best idea if Jinder isn’t injured. He should have lost the belt at the Rumble. I’ve got to say, it was the first Jinder match I had been looking forward to as Brock would have been hilarious.
I would always prefer AJ vs Brock, but this is another step for me in how this whole story is to boost Raw.

Re: Smackdown spoilers
KO & Sami sent home from the UK Tour
Sami and Kevin were supposed to “feed” for New Day following Zayn vs. Kofi Kingston yesterday, but for some reason they didn’t follow directions and left the ring.
.”
Owens hit the ring as soon as the match ended and attacked Kofi as planned. However, he and Sami quickly bailed from the ring. New Day then stood waiting, same for the sound crew who didn’t play anyone’s music, and the segment ended awkwardly when the two wrestlers seemingly went off script by not taking their planned beating afterward.
Since publishing the story on Owens/Zayn being sent home, multiple sources reached out saying the duo have been slightly difficult to work with lately and seem unhappy backstage.

Re: Smackdown spoilers
They should jump to NJPW
Sami vs Ibushi
Jokes aside though that reported booking is silly tbf. Owens just came off of that match with Shane, and Sami with the massive turn, and then you make them job every week + take a beating.

I think the focus of the match is Champion vs Champion though, thats the way I'm looking at it, whoever is Champion gets that spot, the level of Champion is what now makes it interesting.
I think the one off nature of this match allows them if they wish to plant seeds for a future feud or a rematch later down the line.

It’s nitpicking really, but I do look at this survivor series feud thing and so far it seems like a way to boost Raw

Noticed that Jinder was being advertised as 2 time WWE Champ for the tour of India, I wonder if AJ will drop the belt again after Survivor Series
