Well done to Ireland who jump to third in part because of the spanking Scotland administered to the criminal element.
Do these rankings look about right to you?

Georgia need to be given Italy's place in the 6 nations if they finish bottom again. Enough is enough.

Scotland are better than SA and Australia. Home and away wins v Australia leaves no doubt in my mind anyway.
Funny to think Wales still cant beat the Aussies.

Would have liked to see 15 a piece as you'd have a better idea. Fancied scotland before the game though.

Why? Georgia still haven't beaten a tier one nation and they didn't win the European cup of nations this year. That was Romania. Should we let them in instead?

The rankings are always spot on in technical terms. But to look it over in human terms.... I'd actually put SA over Australia at this point. They kinda found an anchor of sorts to cling to as the series went on and gained some stability. Australia just free-fell.

Scotland would have won regardless. They were quite dominant leading up to the red card. They also beat Australia in Australia recently.

Australia did but the rankings reflect results over the last few months rather than days, and they did get that W vs New Zealand not so long ago.
If Scotland get a decent run in the 6N they should easily go up to 5th. I guess 4th should also be a possibility. We could finish the 6N with places 2-4 in NH hands.

It's where you are when the final whistle is blown that counts.

I get that, Lost. I get it. I did pinpoint that I was forgetting the reality (the Rankings are total truth, regardless of how people feel) and just answering moreso the question that was put... how do we feel about them. Do they look about right to us? They are right. But what do we think

Yes. A lot of people preaching doom and gloom about England when we keep on clocking up wins. The manner of the wins has not always been 'ideal ' - whatever that is, but we haven't really been close to losing a game for a while either(Not since last 6N obviously). That is all that really matters.

I think some of the tests in Argentina were quite close. You have only played 6 games since your last loss but yes England arent going backwards IMO

What I find most significant about the current rankings is the size of the gap between second and third placed countries.

It is mainly because England won all their games on their summer tours against stronger sides than Ireland for the last two years. A head to head game between the two sides would be close. I think England will win at home, Ireland would win in Dublin.
That said England are a better side at the moment so the ranking is fair.

1-2 = 3.12 < 2-3 = 4.48
It just proves that the SANZAAR unions keep sending second-class teams on their November tours each year like the NH teams used to do in June. RWC rulez.

Scotland now up to 5th, although according to Nugget we're still rubbish:
