Press conference week 13
1. What are your thoughts on the world cup so far? Lived up to the hype?
2. With Messi and Ronaldo's teams both being eliminated, is this Neymars chance to cement his place as the best player in the world?
3. Which team are you most gutted for that's been eliminated?
4. How many matches have you fully watched so far?
5. Is Football finally coming home?

pretty poor in the most part to be honest.
2. With Messi and Ronaldo's teams both being eliminated, is this Neymars chance to cement his place as the best player in the world?
yes, but he needs to cut out the dramatics and lead his team
3. Which team are you most gutted for that's been eliminated?
Italy

4or5

1. Loved pretty much every minute of it. VAR continues to fluctuate in my love/loathe rating. Every time a match finishes I feel like Patrice Evra (in that I love this game rather than I have a bitey Uruguayian hurling racist abuse at me)
2. I hope not, used to love him for his skills but he's swiftly turned into a figure of hate.
3. Peru or Morocco, enjoyed watching both of them.
4. Probably 3/4 of them? France v Argentina
5. Yes it is. As long as we're creative enough and positive enough we'll go on getting good results.

1. Really enjoyed it, think it's been great world cup. Didn't think it would be. I've enjoyed Roy Keane as pundit, less enjoyed the opinion of two former RBs on goalkeeping. VAR has been a positive, although they still need to work on getting it used consistently. Group stages it seemed to end up with the correct decision most of the time, but the 8 knockout games so far have seen mixed results. The ref last night for example should have used it at least twice!
2. I don't think it will unless he really steps up. He has been better as the tournament has gone on, but he will always been overshadowed by the fact that a sniper appears to be shooting at him two or three times every game.
3. Germany....okay, seriously Peru and Mexico. Great entertaining way of playing, both of them.
4. Probably about half of them, and listened to nearly every afternoon game on the radio at work.
5. No. We are still a work in progress and will find it tough against Brazl, France or Belgium if we get that far. Plus I still prefer to expect little and then everything is a bonus!

1. What are your thoughts on the world cup so far? Lived up to the hype?
Been great fun with many shocks, everyone looks rubbish
2. With Messi and Ronaldo's teams both being eliminated, is this Neymars chance to cement his place as the best player in the world?
It would help if was even Brazil's best player cos so far they been reliant on Coutinho
3. Which team are you most gutted for that's been eliminated?
Senegal - I don't like going on fair play
4. How many matches have you fully watched so far?
Pretty much all when not at work
5. Is Football finally coming home?
Hopefully, although we went out in the group stage last time so anything from now is a plus side really

1. What are your thoughts on the world cup so far? Lived up to the hype?
It's been decent if unspectacular. I'd give it a 7/10.
2. With Messi and Ronaldo's teams both being eliminated, is this Neymars chance to cement his place as the best player in the world?
I think unless he cuts out the theatre tactics, he will never reach Ronaldo and Messi's level.
3. Which team are you most gutted for that's been eliminated?
Japan. The samurai's were the most honorable team in the tournament.
4. How many matches have you fully watched so far?
Probably about 7.
5. Is Football finally coming home?
I think England will struggle against the midfield of Croatia. If Modric is given time and space to dictate play then it will be an uphill task for England to bring football home.

1. What are your thoughts on the world cup so far? Lived up to the hype?
I think it's been a great tournament. Excitement for England and some good matches.
2. With Messi and Ronaldo's teams both being eliminated, is this Neymars chance to cement his place as the best player in the world?
I think he still hasn't proved himself internationally to be classed that. Hazard and Mbappe have had much better tournaments, and Hazard I think has overtaken Neymar.
3. Which team are you most gutted for that's been eliminated?
Japan. So so close.
4. How many matches have you fully watched so far?
About 8 I think.
5. Is Football finally coming home?
Hopefully but if not it's been a great tournament for us
