Re: Challenge League Homepage VII
New Tactical Stuff for Feef 19
If you've ever wanted more control over your FIFA team's tactics and the ability to dive into the gritty tactical details that your favorite real-world managers deal with every week, you'll love our latest update to match preparation in FIFA — Dynamic Tactics. This new feature in FIFA 19 provides deeper, more advanced control over your team’s tactics both before and during matches. See all of your changes and adjustments, no matter how small, executed by your players on the pitch as you play.
Pre-match preparation returns with the in-depth, custom features that you know and love; you can pick players, set a formation, assign roles, give instructions, and customize your tactics. But with Dynamic Tactics in FIFA 19, you can also create multiple game plans that you can switch between during a match.
Every option that you have when creating your pre-match plan can be assigned to one of your custom game plans, so you aren’t constantly going to the pause menu when you need your team to play differently. Dynamic Tactics also allows for deeper tactical customization, using a range of sliders to tweak the various aspects of your offensive and defensive approaches. Your custom game plans are mapped to the D-Pad (on consoles), so that you can quickly change between them during matches.
Just Like Chess
Even though tactics have been a big part of the FIFA franchise for a long time, Dynamic Tactics has overhauled the entire system to make setting up your team more important than ever. Your team will execute your approach in an obvious manner, so that you can get a visual idea of how it’s working on the pitch. For example, if you choose a possession-based tactic, your players will support their teammate in possession and provide safe passing options. If you adjust for faster build-up play, your players will move quickly up the field and make riskier runs to try and create immediate chances.
Any player can use this to their advantage—tactics have been balanced perfectly so that every approach has an effective counter-tactic. If you can identify what your opponent is using, you can respond quickly during a match by changing your own tactics.
Moving the Bus
New tactical options have also been added based on player feedback to help counter some of the more popular and difficult tactics. If you’re facing a team that tends to “park the bus,” for example, you can select the option “Pressure on Heavy Touch” to have your players constantly close down opponents and force them to make risky plays.
Whether you’re looking to get more control over your team’s tactics, prepare a game plan for any situation, or seamlessly tweak things during a match, you’ll get something useful out of the new Dynamic Tactics feature in FIFA 19

Reading that, it looks like player controlled games would just let you switch to a new set of tactics if winning / losing, almost how we used to specify throwing everyone up front when doing the voting leagues
Whether we'd want to go down that route if it needed you to step in and change the tactic then drop out again is another question

It's more if it allows me to step in midgame with it being CPU v CPU. If it does then it sounds great!

Yeah. I think my ups and downs largely offset each other.
He is one that I wouldn't have sold for the £27m value anyway, as he would cost much more than that to replace. His TM value drop doesn't change much really, other than I will be even less tempted by a lawyers offer

In game for me he was great, certainly better than Lemar or Bailey that I've had on the left wing over the season.

I'm sure it would, you can go from player controlled to CPU vs CPU in game so surely you can do the same the other way round

I got rid mate. Balde performed well for me but I wanted to upgrade while keeping hold of Sanchez.
Now got the strongest front line I have ever had. Compared to others it is still weak.

With "Crazy Horses" playing over the top?
I'm still chuckling thinking about it. I think it was the bit where the camara pans out, he gets to his teammates, so you expect him to stop, and he keeps going

Right, that’s mine and Bams season over. Feel well set now for season 3. Lost last two but was competitive with a weakened team so happy enough about that. Also a slight tweak planned but holding back from trying it yet!!

Re: Challenge League Homepage VII
I was thinking the same thing. Putting that into perspective you could say Jesse Lingard (2 goals in the 3-2 win) and Ben Yedder (2 in 2 and got winner in last game) won me the league.
Not exactly the names you would expect with the players in this league!
Olly did you over too

Morning folks.
Going to do lawyers offers shortly. As a reminder, I will be doing one each randomly and then you can nominate one for yourself. These will all be at season 2 frozen prices.
Please can someone draw me one random one.

Can't decide who to put up as my lawyer.
Lemar was my main choice but at present he's 58.5m so would work out as 64.4m
If I wait until next week for him as my nominated I can get 69.3m for him.
Hamsik I can get 39.6m for now, after this week the most I could get is 34.3m
Also next week Akanji goes from a value of 4.5m to 25.2m & Under from 9m to 24.3m.

So would get rid of Lemar now

If anyone wants Nainggolan or Hamsik off me then I might let either go but I want better than a season 2 lawyer on them.

Hamsik (39.6m)

If you are willing to sell, then Hamsik is the one for this week.
Tricky next week, depends on how much you want to raise. Akanji is probably the lowest in terms of importance/likelihood of playing.
