Pro 14 competitive table 18/19 and some interesting stats
Being competitive is judged by picking up pts except TBPs.
93%
Leinster 13/14 (Munster away)
Connacht 13/14 (Leinster home)
79%
Munster 11/14
Ospreys 11/14
Blues 11/14
Glasgow 11/14
Edinburgh 11/14
Benetton 11/14
71%
Ulster 10/14
Scarlets 10/14
Cheetahs 10/14
Rest
Kings 8/14 = 57%
Dragons 7/14 = 50%
Zebre 4/14 = 29%
With so many teams on 10 & 11 games where they were in with a shout of winning the game so why the table is so congested. Connacht seem to not just be getting better but just not able to get wins like Leinster. Glasgow and Munster are ahead just by getting a few tight games from losses to wins. Kings are improving.
Interesting stats
Zebre have got a TBP every time they won
Kings sit 6th on the TBP list while dragons have failed to pick up any
Heading into the last 5 games picking up points will be key while denying opposition any could be the difference between 5th and 2nd.
Also even though the teams are the same Conference A is stronger this year.

Bones point league
Conference A
Glasgow 10
Connacht 10
Cheetahs 10
Munster 8
Blues 8
Ospreys 6
Zebre 5
Conference B
Kings 11
Leinster 10
Edinburgh 8
Benneton 7
Scarlets 7
Ulster 3
Dragons 3
Leinster show that winning lots of games doesn't reduce BPs. They have picked up 9 TBPs in their 12 wins.
Ulster have a poor LBP record of 1 which is a reflection of them send second string teams. The other problem is they aren't picking up enough TBPs either. As a result they need an extra win to get parity with the other teams.
Kings have 1 less win than Zebre and two less than Dragons but because of their massive BPs are level with them. Do they show that for the lower teams running from everywhere is better than try defend and play 10 man rugby.
