Re: BIG and BMC Watford
Charlene has just proven the decision to run her in Stockholm as an excellent selection, so happy to see her get back after the bad luck in Berlin. As for Shara, this has been coming for a while, 7m jump in her by the time the olympics comes around i think.
Great performance by Lynsey sharp, beating Okoro and Jackson! our womens middle distances are starting to show real good depth.

Re: BIG and BMC Watford
Some very good results from France, have not got much time so i will just highlight British results.

Re: BIG and BMC Watford
To be fair the pacemakers had to run 23s to get in front of the field! Would have been much better to run 1.18 for 600m with 3 26's rather than 23, 27, 28 but the brazillian prevented that from happening!
Also delighted to see Charlene Thomas back to form after a career threatening injury at the end of 2009 and nightmare 2010.

Re: BIG and BMC Watford
Great to see we're up to 19 guys under 14 mins already - there were only 18 for the whole of last season. Perhaps we're seeing the tide turning when it comes to strength in depth over middle and long distances. Further to Moumin Geele's status, I wonder what is to become of Mehretab Solomon? Solomon is a Eritrean-born but London-based athlete who finished 2nd behind Mo Farah at the Bupa 10K in late May. In doing so he finished ahead of such stars as Lemoncello, Wicks and Tickner. I wouldn't like to speculate too much, or indeed take 10,000m team spot away from Gerrard, Vernon or Beattie, but Solomon is now coached here and has been racing here since the end of the 2008 season. So, superficially, he seems to be going through a process of naturalisation. At the moment his PBs over shorter distances are pretty ordinary but it would be interesting to see what would happen if he mixed it with our other top domestic athletes over 10,000m.
