WWE have announced that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff are now executive directors in the company. Heyman will be director of RAW, Bischoff will be director of SmackDown and both will be reporting directly to Vince.

Heyman brings his creative vision to RAW and Bischoff brings his TV executive credentials to SmackDown to work with FOX.

Exciting times. If they bin the wildcard rule now and go back to two distinct brands we could be on the cusp of a massive shift. It would be fair to speculate AEW might have got to Vince afterall.
