Getting the band back together? - Page 2 Empty Getting the band back together?

Post by JJJohnson Thu 03 Oct 2019, 3:05 pm

First topic message reminder :

We all know how this works by now, there has been plenty of threads talking up a rebirth but I’m giving it one last punt.

Looking for 8-10 minimum who’d be interested in getting this e-fed lark off the ground and running it one more time, if only to satisfy our geeky inner teenagers once more.

When or more likely if we get the numbers then we can discuss show dates, what characters to use etc but no point in going through all that if we never get started.

Have a think, don’t commit if your heart or real life won’t allow the time because I know we’ve all been there and half arsing it ain’t worth it. Let everyone from the old guard know, if you know anyone else who may be interested give them a shout and we’ll see what’s what.

I’m in a position right now where I can run this place but I appreciate others may not have the time. This isn’t 2010 anymore. But I’m not creating a pressure situation, I want it to be a laugh more than anything

Definite sign ups so far:

Nice 1. Wood carries a lot of baggage though.....wouldn't you rather start afresh?

Would Thunder consider it as I’m nowhere near the helm?

Not really. I never really felt like I completed his story despite loving the stuff we did in the past.

and as for Thunder, I just asked him and he says he doesn't have the time.

Nice to see all you guys back. Some of us newly married, some of us still married. Judging by the characters on here that is quite a feat; myself included

I hope Cillian Frost turns out to be a bit like Thomas Shelby

I actually don't think he has the IQ to use Twitter anyway!

I have a workshop to go to now but I thought I would leave you a few questions for my return.

1. Who will be the first to mention EWF or 6WF?
2. Who will be the first to send an urgent PM?
3. How long before the chat descends into the topic of lunch?
4. How long before Hero makes an appearance?
5. What will be the venue for shows?
6. First World Champion?
7. First person to go awol?
8. Sum up the revival of 6CW in 1 word (would have done 3 words but it stops the obvious reply from Saint)

Also I have five character sheets (including my own)

So get working on them and get them sent. If they are previous characters then please update the sheets and make sure you are happy with them.

I believe I now know eight names of characters so I’m going to work on the first card and add anyone else from there on out.

Roster page updated with what I have. Helms & Wood character sheets are still in there from the last run but will need an update from their promoers.

Character sheets from Mat, Gazzy and DP as well when you can fellas and then I'll do an opening card. Then obviously we'll just add people if and when they choose to sign back up.

Happy with the one in the section for Harris but will change up the intro tune and the blurb about him. thumbsup

Pete has said he’s interested but he’s had some (what appears to be horrible) news and will probably need some time before he knows how much his involvement can be.

Just thought I’d throw it out there for him, if he hasn’t been able to
