Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Morning lads
Hope we are all well under the circumstances
It is indeed show day. Show is about 95% complete so I’m aiming for a 7pm start but may be earlier
Liam’s pictures for ppvs and superstars were always great as were Lee’s back in the day. I liked GDC’s video packages for big feuds too.
I always tried to pick music for JJ that I could imagine someone coming out to. Obviously creating Genesis means I always associate ‘Numb’ by Linkin Park with them. ‘Just close your eyes’ for TGA and ‘Last Resort’ for Geoff Steel also

Steel's entrance music is a good shout on that
I kind of vaguely remember Joshua, Twist, but I can imagine that being a really good 'real life' entrance

I suppose a good theme helps you get noticed when you are starting out.
Does this incarnation of 6CW have its own theme?

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I've always just gone with generic hard rock - a true wrestling staple.
Since my return I've also had a few different entrance themes: Back in Black and Out of the Black. I don't remember picking either, but not complaining! I quite like Back in Black given the context of the return - so going to stick with that!

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Afternoon guys
Quiet on here. I guess many, like myself, are either still working or you’ve found another pastime you never thought you’d enjoy before lockdown haha.
Enjoyed the promos I have read so far, might do one myself for Phoenix although I’ve been more telling his story through the shows at the moment (booker’s privilege).
Hope we are all coping as well as possible
And welcome back Dicey

Qotd? You are forced to share lockdown with an efedding character. Who would be the best and worst ones to share it with?

So apologies Twist and Crimey, thought I had more time to reply, I'll have a read of the show on my dinner

It was a really good one Marsh, I have just re-read it myself.
Let me know if you have time for a back and forth. If you want to start then I will follow your lead. Doesn't have to be in-ring, although with social distancing we don't have a lot of choice! (Not unless it is revealed that Murdoch is living with the Kramers during lockdown)

Coping ok - it is not exactly difficult, but I do appreciate it can grind on the mental health. This weekend was a bit tough. Just boredom and I am used to being out and about with the missus.

Still working. I'm part of senior management for a digital agency, so if I'm on furlough - the business is likely over. We're stuck in a weird middle ground, where our clients are able to just shut up shop and wait it out, but we can't.

I am working as normal, not furloughed. Our client are pharmaceutical companies and we are still getting paid from them so, as things stand, it is business as usual. All working from home though obviously. Not ideal for me, but I have had to make do for team meetings etc.
I doubt we will be back to work before end of May

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I'm working as normal - accountancy, so we're actually bonkers busy with all this. I'm one of two people working in the office, so it's a bit of a ghost town, but has at least kept me in some sort of routine. Live on my own so I think I'd be scaling the walls if I was just at home 24/7.
I should be able to get back into the promo's tonight Twist

Great Marsh, I will probably only do one more reply this week. Pretty much everything has been said. Its going to be a great match.
A lot of people I work with thought that wfh would be great for them....all sitting outside with their laptops and lazing it up. If anything I have been busier at home than I ever have been at work

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
I don't mind working from home much, I used to work from home fairly often before all of this. I've taken a monitor from work also so being set up with two monitors definitely helps. Get to spend more time with fiancee, dog and cat so that's good. Would agree that work from home doesn't mean less work though - especially that some people just want to jump on Zoom calls all of the time and chat rubbish for an hour!

Reply up Twist, I'll leave it there and let you wrap it up if you want.
Enjoyed that Got me thinking that one benefit of a smaller roster if that you can have more one on one feuds. For all the years I did this prior, I don't think Marshall had a huge amount of one on one ppv matches due to the roster sizes, it was mostly tag, multi man matches etc, can only think of 6-7 singles matches I've been part of previously off the top of my head

Any predictions for the ppv? Been writing today, sat in the garden getting creative.

Re: 6CW Chat v1 (100th edition)
Matches are wrote. I’m happy with it but hopefully you all will be too
I’ve gone with condensed segments, perhaps little more detail than weekly shows, but if this doesn’t present well and you’d prefer full dialogue for future ppvs please let me know as I’m happy to amend that.
Don’t have an exact time for posting as of yet but just wanted everyone to know it’s good to go.
If I was outside looking in I’d say 3/4 of those 7 matches are genuinely difficult to call which I’m pleased about. Obviously I’d like them all to be 50-50 and going forward that is the aim but not always in my control. I’d like to think that every match has a genuine story behind it though with plenty of undercurrent through the fed which is always the target

Day of Reckoning Results are up. I hope you all enjoy. I know there'll be questions etc after the show so feel free to drop me a message if there's anything you need to discuss and I'll happily provide some direction if I can.
I'll put the new card up tomorrow to give everyone chance to read the show and digest.
Tooze- I've replied to your PM mate but no need to apologise. I'm glad to see you back and I hope everything is ok. Real life always comes first.

Its like a King of the Ring style tournament I think, rather than a Money in the Bank type one where you get a shot at the title.

I pmed JJ about that actually - whether we are taking it as read that CK has paid you before the next show OR, most probably, he is going to say it is void due Crime Lord interference.
