Think you're on or certainly close to the money with the five missing out. Assumes Clarke is now ok to play. I also wonder if Burns might edge Geddes out.
Great that it seems Jamieson is going to play. Credit to him and NZ cricket. An England player in his situation would now be resting for a couple of months!

The two bowlers with the lowest economy rate have only five overs between them

Re: SURREY VS MIDDLESEX T20 VITALITY BLAST
Tudor is appalling the way he rabbits on and on.
I also disagreed with Tudor and Atherton referring to ''sneaking Jacks on'' for the first over. Jacks is one of the best bowlers for us in the Blast and should actually bowl more. I would have kept him on and given him a third over on the reel tonight.
I regard Smith as a reasonable stand in keeper but no more. He's certainly no Foakes and never will be. I reckon Foakes would have got Jamieson a wicket in his first over - forget which Middlesex opener, very low down and maybe a smidge in front but still a chance. At times when I've seen Smith, I've been impressed by his quiet efficiency but he doesn't seem to maintain it consistently.
Feel Middlesex's 174 is around par or even a handful above. Our batting should be strengthened by the inclusion of Pope and perhaps Jamieson - just hope we don't blow it!

Will Jacks is a serious player. Immense power - some huge hits on big boundaries at the Oval. And he gives his off spin a big rip, which is always a plus when most part timers (or non specialists perhaps) just bowl darts.

And we’re conspiring to throw the game away to the bowling of Nick Gubbins

Goochie - didn't expect you to be campaigning for the return of Dernbach!
More seriously, I understand where you're coming from. Batty's use of the bowlers is too often bizarre and frankly wrong.

2-1-7-2....how can you have those figures, and in the power play, and not bowl another over. Moriaty only bowled 3, yet he bowls the 10 an over medium pacers. Our new signing doesn't bowl his full quota!? Let Burns captain if he's going to play!
Anyway guildford, as I said, I'm not going to moan Fabulous batting from Jacks, Smith, Pope and Overton
