There was a lot of positive talk about Nansen after he was signed. I’d really like to know how he’s getting on and getting adjusted to the team. Would be great if he can impact the team in the same way as Augustus.

The one I want to see come through is Willemsen, 6'6" 20 stone plus backrow that played both rugby and basketball for NSW at age group level, then played a little bit of league. Basketball makes him very mobile, league will have taught him how to defend, his genes should make him a bit special, he is the cousin of Nemani Nadolo.

Somehow is is also English qualified.

Possibly the next Samu Manoa................

Willemsen is still a young'un, right? Haven't seen much about him either. Seems to have the athletic background and some really good genes. The bonus is he is EQ.

I see Alex Mitchell has been named Gallagher Player of the Month for November, can't argue with that he has been awesome lately.

He's bounced back well after a bit of disappointment for him personally in regards to the international period. He does really suit the way Saints are playing. I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes in Europe where the Saints pack might be under pressure as that's normally an indication of how good a 9 is, the last time his pack went backwards he didn't have the best game. He's got a great chance to push his case to Eddie even more now.

Interesting that the last two player of the month awards have come from players fired up over not getting the England recognition they were hoping for.
