"Chisora ain't for retiring"...and still in fairness attracts numbers for some reason...Whyte does decent numbers and a loss to the number 1 shouldn't spoil a good domestic fight....

If Bellew v Cleverly could sell so should this...After all there were two previous good fights and Derek could always throw another chair..

Problem is Whyte's last purse was 8m and Boxing is all about ego...Whyte will take exception to going from 8m to close to whatever he was earning before and Chisora had a tantrum about Taylor v Prograis headlining so will want at least 2/5 of the pie if not half..

Also the appetite for a 3rd fight like most second sequels brings diminishing returns...Though it sells in fairness.

Whyte v Chisora is obvious....But it doesn't look feasible with Whyte's last purse and his "Elevation" at least in his team's head.

I don't know that it is. The last two fights although good to watch were both in Whyte's favour., and I see no need for a rubber match. Chisora is done.

He should take a bit of time off and aim for a rematch with AJ if he loses again. FAR more money in that one.

Whyte’s PPV numbers have been rubbish in the two Povetkin fights - I doubt Hearn even broke even. Therefore Whyte/Chisora 3 isn’t even an option imo.

There’s only two legitimate fights I can see Whyte being up for:

Deontay Wilder - unlikely as Wilder is WBC #1 and pencilled in to fight the winner of Ruiz vs Ortiz. PBC in house job.

Anthony Joshua rematch - if as many expect Joshua loses again to Usyk, this is the fight Hearn will make imo.

Agree with Bounce and Jeff, personally. Two close and competitive fights between them, but it's 2-0 to Whyte and if Chisora was past his best when they last fought in 2018 he's outright ready for the knackers yard now. Could barely move his feet last time out against Parker.

Whyte might not be far behind him on the road to the scrap heap, but he'll probably get one more big(ish) fight before he starts getting served up as a sacrificial lamb for the division's new blood (if there is any).

I wouldn't be surprised if Hearn lines him up against Usyk at some stage, given the fan base Usyk has over here now. When Linares kept beating some of Hearn's top boys over the years Hearn admitted that it did grate on him, and there was added satisfaction when one of his guys in the shape of Haney finally got one over on Jorge. I know Usyk is entangled with Matchroom himself, but realistically all of Bellew, Chisora and Joshua were Eddie's boys when they fought Usyk and those results will be annoying him. Could see Whyte being a defence for Usyk if he beats Joshua again, or even a fight to re-establish / maintain his credentials if Joshua turns the tables in the rematch.

That's if Joshua-Usyk II ever comes to pass. Seven months since the fight and the rematch has apparently been on the verge of being signed and confirmed for about six of them.

Respect all the replies and they are well lettered and reasoned.

But two past it has beens in the form of Brook and Khan sold more than 500k.. Two really never do wells in Bellew v Clev sold.. So if Whyte v Chisora who had two close good fights were reasonable then its common sense..

Be surprised if it doesn't try to get made..Salary demands make it improbable.

But you guys disagree and that's okay.

Jarell Miller's ban ends June 16, 2022.   With regard the other fights those are potential fights in 6 to 18 months.

If Tyson retires and Usyk retires then if Dillian Whyte sticks around he might have another opportunity to challenge for a belt in which case he would need to keep active - in that situation a Whyte vs Chisora fight could still gain some interest.

May come sooner I see Fury has retired again..

Quick WBC declare the belt vacant and set up a fight for it..

Before he changes his mind again...Which we all know he will.
