SURREY VS SUSSEX/ SOMERSET ROYAL LONDON ONE DAY CUP

Surrey have named a 13 man squad for the trip to hove to play Sussex.
Surrey have registered Academy players Sheridon Gumbs and Tim Lloyd to play for the Club.
Gumbs and Lloyd, both 18 years old, will be available to play for the duration of this season’s Royal London Cup.
The average age of the available squad is now a youthful 22 years and four months old.  
Matt Dunn returns after a family matter ruled him out of the Middlesex fixture but Cameron Steel is out as he is following the concussion protocols after being hit on the head in Radlett.

As beehive as said on the previous thread i wonder how Justin Broad or Angus Lovell are feeling about this decision?
Probably Dunn in for Barnwell and Gumbs in for Steel.

Kimber pulled out this morning due to an illness, Dunn replaces him which is good news for Barnwell
Gumbs replaces Steel as expected
Lloyd carries the drinks

yep the decision not to get a overseas player in looking even more stupid after what happened today.
if it been up to me apart from Lawes and Patel the rest should have had to walk home.

Spot on with the team, JimBob. Surprised Steel isn’t back for this game.

Already in trouble. Both Surrey openers out to Aldridge. Truly outstanding slip catch by Renshaw to account for Patel  - try and watch on highlights if you can, strongly recommended.

Edited as I got Rew and Renshaw muddled.

Congratulations to the lads. I continue to underestimate them. A pity the game had to be decided by DLS because I think we’d have won anyway but a win is a win.
Really encouraged by Reifer and Gumbs even though it wasn’t a great Somerset attack and Lawes continues to impress.
