Prem Round 21
Think I'm still dreaming ... big win for Irish over Saints despite leaving half a dozen tries out there ....

On first glance I'm struggling to see the difference between the red card again Falcons versus the yellow against Bath ...

I'd have to go back and look again at the Falcon's red, but from memory I didn't think that should have been a red either.

The explanation for Falcons was upright, direct head contact, no wrap - all the same for Bath from what I saw without going back to re-look ...

Well you got what you wanted. Pretty strong performance from Bath. They actually looked impressive...

Obano made an attempt to wrap and Palfreman didn't. At least in the eyes of the respective referees. Not a lot in it but Obano's left arm definitely comes out and grabs the Bath players arm whereas the Falcon's arm remained tucked.
To be fair the ref in the Falcons game looked to try and bring the red card down to a yellow but as soon as that was highlighted he wasn't given a choice.
Impressive win for Bath and for Falcons. The battle at the bottom is still raging. Bristol and Glaws playoff push all but ended this weekend with Chiefs and Saints losing ground as well. If Sale could stuff up at least one or two of their remaining fixtures Tigers might yet catch them. Would be a big help to be playing at WR (both in terms of home ground and financially).

OK didn't see the wrap but was trying to watch and play Monopoly with my grand-daughter at the same time so didn't get a proper look ...

It was pretty marginal.
