Ulster Kits for Next Season
Our home shirt remains unchanged;
As does our European shirt;
Not really much of a story here, as these will account for the vast majority of our games next year. However, we do have a new alternate strip based on the training shirt Ulster have worn in warm-ups this season.
And the one that will provoke by far the most discussion I predict; Ulsters new 'Cartoon Shirt'- a supporters shirt with an out there design.
I was very relieved when I discovered that the team wouldn't be wearing that last design next season! It's for the fans. Bit of a collectors item if you're into that. I prefer not to buy replica shirts. The expense of them now, you could almost get a ticket for an international for the same price!

If the last one sells it will be for the kids. I quite like the striped one that is based on this years training top

Agree, big kids and little kids alike
I really liked last years away top though. So disappointed to see it retired after one season.

Your European one is definitely my favourite. I would definitely have purchased that cartoon one too when I was in a phase of buying any rugby top I liked.

At first I didn't like the European jersey because its not really our traditional colour scheme- black or red would have been my preference BUT... it's really grown on me.
And it's been exceptionally popular, you see loads of them at games.

As a shirt the cartoon shirt is kind of cool, however it isn't a rugby jersey really. (If it wasn't a rivals shirt I would get one).

The cartoon one doesn't look any better in the flesh, even when worn by a player;

To be fair, it IS just a Supporters Shirt.
Scarlets- you wouldn't wear the shirt of a rival? I wore some Stade Francais gear plus my Ulster scarf when they last played at Ravenhill. All part of the craic.
That said, the gentleman who offered his commiserations was probably quote confused by my Belfast accent
