6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*The show starts with a huge recap from the monumental finish to last weeks’ edition of Proving Grounds from Tokyo with the return of Chris Patricks and the announcement of “WarGames” at Day of Reckoning. The commentators are hyping up what promises to be an historic weekend of action on March 8-9th. We then get shots of Genesis arriving at the arena before separate arrivals of Max, Dicey, Scott Harris and finally Chris Patricks. Chris Patricks is stopped by Jack Reynolds for an interview in regards to his return. Patricks is glad to be back in 6CWF and he is here to support Max Adamson. Patricks talks about knowing Rex a long time and his disappointment that he would turn on his family. CP says WarGames looks like the only option and he is here to do the things that Max is reluctant to do and that is teach Rex some manners.
*The Parasite Killers are warming up for the first bout of the evening. Jenny McManus says her “boys” are set for the big time and another big showing tonight will force Alex Walker’s hand in putting them on the pedestal that they deserve. She also announces that PK are entering the “Gateway to Glory” match and that they will play a pivotal role at “Night of Glory”.
*Scott Harris is getting prepped for the opener when Dicey Reilly walks in. Dicey is ready to “punt Genesis skulls” and asks if Harris is prepared for what is coming at “Day of Reckoning”. Harris says he’s set foot inside this structure before so they don’t have to worry about him. But he does have a few questions about Chris Patricks. Dicey assures Harris that CP will do whatever it takes to ensure they are victorious. There is a cough from the doorway and they turn to see Patricks standing there. CP tells Harris that he is more than happy to answer any questions….so fire away. But all they really need to know is that he is here for Max…..unlike Harris and unlike Dicey, who are really in this for themselves. Patricks says his sole goal right now is to put Rex and Genesis in their place. Patricks leaves with a smirk as Dicey tells Harris “Yeah, he’s a bit of a c0ck but he can fight and fighters are exactly what we need right now”. Harris shrugs and finishes strapping his hands.
*Scene change and Geoff Steel is talking with Clarissa. Steel says last week was a disappointment but once again vows that whether he is #30 or #1 that he will win the “Gateway to Glory” and he will headline “Night of Glory”. Anthony Grace interrupts. He shakes hands with Steel and says he is looking forward to tagging with him tonight. Grace, however, wants Steel to know that when “Day of Reckoning” arrives all respect goes out of the window because only one of them can earn the headline act and he has made quite a career out of it….he isn’t here to play a supporting role. Steel agrees only one of them can be victorious but tonight they can both share the plaudits so why don’t they take care of business and then all eyes can turn to March 9th in Las Vegas.
*Final scene change and Eddy Kent is telling Genesis that he has something to take care of. It seems as though Michael Sweetwater and Tyler Roth are the ones who will be competing in tonight’s opener. Rex stands to follow Kent but the 6WF Champion says this is a personal errand. The cameras follow him as he walks down the corridor and we see him entering Alex Walker’s office. Walker leans back in his chair as Kent declines to take a seat. Clarke James is nowhere to be seen. Kent says he is here to make this quick. He doesn’t recognise the man in front of him right now but Alex Walker knows that Genesis will always have his back so all he need do is say the word.
However he is here for a reason and that is the contractual agreement made that Genesis should have run the January 10th edition of Proving Grounds. Walker pushes a piece of paper forward and he wants Kent to read the small print. JJ Johnson was in charge of 6CWF when that contract was signed. But JJ Johnson isn’t here anymore and Alex Walker’s 6CWF isn’t the same thing. Walker does not recognise any other authority but his own and he doesn’t believe it would be “business savvy” to allow any “outside party” to run his company. Walker needs Eddy Kent to understand the respect he has for him and for Genesis but he just cannot allow Genesis to be in control of his company when Exodus are currently running the show. Kent just stands and stares at Walker for almost a whole minute before he shoulders the 6WF Championship. The door then opens as Clarke James walks in. Kent looks from Walker to CJ and back again. Kent heads for the door but then stops….he turns back and says “I need you to understand something, Alex………whether today, tomorrow, a week from now or a year…..Genesis will run this whole operation…..with or without you…….but this moment right here, this will never be forgotten….the day you chose that (he points at Clarke James) over us”
Kent shakes his head and leaves. Clarke James then takes a deep breath and says “One day soon I am going to pin his head to that wall”…..Alex Walker reclines back in his chair and closes his eyes…..”Eddy Kent and Genesis are the least of our concerns right now…..let’s take each threat as it comes”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Bout 1
The Parasite Killers vs Dicey Reilly/Scott Harris vs Genesis vs Anthony Grace/Geoff Steel
The Parasite Killers vs Dicey Reilly/Scott Harris vs Genesis vs Anthony Grace/Geoff Steel
*First match of the evening and the crowd are bouncing. Parasite Killers are out first and look in extremely confident mood. The commentators are talking about their impressive new mean streak and how they are looking to establish themselves as the dominant duo in 6CWF right now. Jenny McManus guides her team to ringside. Anthony Grace is followed by Geoff Steel and the two fan favourites receive huge ovations from the audience. JT talks up the credentials of both men and believes they are both “serious contenders” for the Gateway to Glory in a month’s time.
*Yet more cheers greet the arrival of Dicey Reilly & Scott Harris. The two men tag hands as they make their way to ringside. The commentators talk about their impending “WarGames” match at Day of Reckoning whilst debating on whether the combatants will have enough left to enter the “Gateway to Glory” as well. Genesis are the final entrants into the match and it looks like Tyler Roth and Michael Sweetwater will be taking up the reins for this one. There is plenty of trash talk between the warring factions as the referee tries to maintain order before the contest gets underway.
*The Fanatic and Geoff Steel start us off and they tussle in the centre of the ring. Fanatic breaks the lockup and snaps off a huge uppercut before whipping Steel off the ropes. Steel ducks a clothesline on the comeback and then nails a leaping shoulder tackle to take the big man off his feet. Steel tries to lift him for an “AA” but Fanatic elbows his way off and then drops his opponent with a big boot to the mouth. Fanatic tags in James McManus. Fanatic lifts Steel into a suplex and releases him at the top into a backbreaker across McManus knee for a two count.
*McManus nails a snap suplex and then heads for the corner. He leaps into a crossbody but Steel catches him and then unloads with a huge release fall away slam. Steel beckons McManus back up and kicks him in the gut. He prepares for the “Bladecutter” but McManus swipes his legs and tries for a figure four but is booted away to the corner. Steel runs in for a flying shoulder thrust to the stomach but McManus moves and sends his man against the corner. Steel staggers around and eats a ”Death Valley Driver” for another two. McManus signals for the “tombstone” now but Steel drops off the back and shoves him into the ropes (Sweetwater makes a blind tag). Steel nails McManus with a spinebuster on the comeback. Steel is unaware of the blind tag as Sweetwater climbs in and nails a pump kick to the head for a close call.
*Sweetwater lands furious punches and kicks on Steel now, backing him up in the corner. He climbs up and begins to administer a ten punch combo but Steel seizes him on six and walks out before slamming him down with a powerbomb. Steel staggers over and tags in Anthony Grace. Grace beckons Sweetwater up and lifts him into an atomic drop before running him into a bulldog takedown for a two. Grace sets for the “Blockbuster” kick now but Sweetwater ducks. Roth distracts the ref as Sweetwater boots Grace between the legs, dropping him on his knees, and then nails a huge DDT. He covers but Grace just manages to kick out. Sweetwater tags in Tyler Roth.
*Roth waits for Grace to get up in the corner and runs into a huge clothesline. He follows up with ten more lashes before he launches Grace across the canvass with a monstrous “Biel” throw. Grace stumbles back up as Roth twirls out for a discus lariat but Grace ducks it and nails a neckbreaker. Both men are down now and in need of a tag. Roth is tagged in by McManus as Dicey Reilly gets the tag in from Grace. Dicey takes McManus down with a running clothesline and then he whips him off the ropes and launches him into a huge backdrop. McManus staggers to his feet and Dicey scoops him on his shoulders and nails a back to belly piledriver (White Noise) for a two count. Fanatic gets in and looks for a brogue kick but Dicey dodges and lands furious right hands. He looks for a whip but Fanatic reverses. He lowers his head for a backdrop but Dicey lashes a kick in his head…..Fanatic staggers back next to the ropes and Dicey clotheslines him over the top to the outside. McManus is back up and nails the “River Wensum Plunge” as Dicey turns back around. Kickout from Dicey.
*McManus beckons Fanatic back in as they drag Dicey up. They look for the “Parasite Killer” (Magic Killer) but Scott Harris seizes McManus from behind and launches him with a release German suplex. Fanatic runs over as Harris pulls down the top rope and sends the big man flying to the outside. Tyler Roth clotheslines Harris from behind now and flips him into a pumphandle running powerslam. Dicey scrambles up and Roth springs off the middle rope and detonates a sicking knee under his chin. He then scoops Dicey up and nails “The Hangman” (Running muscle buster). McManus (legal man) crawls over and covers Dicey and a three count looks imminent until Roth kicks him in the head to break the cover. Roth drags McManus to the corner now and tags himself in. Dicey is on jelly legs as he staggers to his feet and Roth positions for “The Reaping” (Back suplex into a powerbomb) but Dicey flips over the back. Roth turns around and Dicey nails him with the “Craicdown”. They are both sprawled out in a heap on the canvass.
*Eventually Dicey gets across and is able to tag in Geoff Steel. Steel roars in as Roth tags in The Fanatic. Steel dodges a lariat and unloads with right hands. He looks to whip Fanatic to the corner but it is reversed. Steel gets his feet up as the big man runs in. Steel lifts himself on the middle rope and launches off with a flying shoulder block. Fanatic staggers back up and this time Steel lifts him and nails the “Attitude Adjustment”. He covers but McManus returns and breaks the count before the three can be completed. Steel rocks McManus with right hands now and looks for an Irish whip. He lowers his head but McManus returns with a brutal “knee trembler” to the head…..Steel sways as Fanatic gets back up and scoops him on his shoulders. McManus lifts himself onto the ropes and they nail the “Midnight Hour” (ala New Day). Fanatic covers but Anthony Grace intervenes.
*McManus roars forward but Grace sidesteps him and sends him into the ropes before nailing the “Blockbuster” (tornado kick) that sends him to the outside. Fanatic is up and wraps both hands around Grace’s throat for a chokebomb but Grace knees at the stomach to break the grip. Grace looks for a piledriver now but Fanatic swipes his feet and catapults him to the corner. Grace stumbles back out and eats a chokeslam but the referee tells Fanatic that Steel is the legal man. Fanatic looks annoyed as he turns back and beckons Steel up. He flips him for the “Total Elimination” powerbomb but Steel leaps off the back and runs the ropes before charging back with a huge spear. Steel heads for the corner now and is successful with a flying headbutt. He makes the cover but Michael Sweetwater leaps from on high with the “Six Feet Deep” (foot stomp) to the back. Steel staggers up and Sweetwater scores with the “Sleep with the fishes” (fisherman suplex) but the referee intervenes and tells Sweetwater he isn’t the legal man. Sweetwater returns to the apron and he reaches over to slap the back of Fanatic.
*Sweetwater races in and covers Steel now but it is a kickout on two. Sweetwater stomps all over Steel now, keeping him grounded, before he heads for the corner again. He leaps off for another flying stomp but Steel rolls out of the way. Sweetwater rolls through as he lands and then runs forward but Steel sidesteps him and sends him into the turnbuckle. Steel bench presses Sweetwater now as the crowd go wild. He slams him down and then grabs his legs for the “Steelworks”. Tyler Roth is back on the apron and he catapults over the top into a brutal lariat takedown on Steel. Roth is signalling for the end now and he bends down to pick Steel up as Anthony Grace runs in and nails the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er). Grace heads back to the corner and is urging Steel to make the cover but he is suddenly dragged off the apron by Ojore. Ojore lifts Grace up for the “World’s Strongest Slam” in the aisle but Grace fights free and staggers away. Ojore chases after him but Grace moves and the big man crashes through the ring steps. Grace readies for a further attack as Robin Reborn flies from the ringside barrier and almost decapitates him with a huge forearm smash. The commentators hype the huge upcoming Cage Match at Day of Reckoning as Ojore drags Grace up now and obliterates him on the hard flooring with the “World’s Strongest Slam”. Reborn is all smiles in his silk “pyjamas” as he stands over Grace and lets out a wolf howl.
*Geoff Steel is stumbling back to his feet now as The Parasite Killers slide back in. He takes the fight to them but the numbers game wins out. Fanatic scoops Steel up now as McManus runs the ropes for the “Boot of Doom”. Steel is down and out as McManus goes to make a cover but Dicey and Harris storm the ring now to fight with PK. Dicey dodges a right hand from Fanatic and looks for a “Craicdown” but Fanatic counters with a backdrop. Harris is scooped up by McManus for the “MK Ultra” but he fights off and nails a codebreaker. Harris heads up top now and is readying for a frogsplash but Fanatic rushes over and grabs him by the throat. The big man prepares for a huge chokeslam but Harris leaps down onto the apron and guillotines Fanatic across the top rope. He staggers around and Dicey is back up to complete the “Craicdown” this time. Dicey drags McManus up now and scores with a brainbuster as Harris leaps off top with a frogsplash. Sweetwater suddenly drags Harris from the ring and clocks him in the head with the ring bell. Dicey leaps from the ring now to brawl with Sweetwater on the outside.
*Steel is slowly rising and he has his eyes fixed on McManus. He stumbles over but suddenly Fanatic drags him under the bottom rope and now they are brawling near the announce area. Steel smashes Fanatic’s head off the “Spanish” table several times and then begins lifting him on his shoulders as Jenny McManus comes around and she sprays some kind of perfume in the eyes of Steel. McManus rolls from the ring now, groggy, and he slams into Steel. PK get Geoff Steel up on the table now and deliver a “Parasite Killer” (Magic Killer) which destroys Steel through the desk.
*Tyler Roth runs around the outside to intercept Dicey Reilly but Scott Harris is in wait and dropkicks the steel steps into Roth’s knees, sending him tumbling across the hard floor. The referee is trying to get some order restored as Dicey launches Sweetwater back in the ring. Dicey is distracting the referee now as Scott Harris grabs the ring bell and rolls in. He returns the favour and demolishes the bell against the skull of Sweetwater before chucking it away. Harris then grabs Sweetwater’s legs and turns him over into the sharpshooter. The ref returns to the ring as Sweetwater is tapping furiously and the official decides that is enough.
*Parasite Killers look annoyed from the outside but then follow Jenny as they leave ringside having decimated Geoff Steel. We see Anthony Grace sitting against the ringside barrier, wincing in pain, before we turn back to the ring. Dicey Reilly has rolled in and high fives Harris as they stand victorious. Tyler Roth then grabs a steel chair and he rolls in the ring. Harris grabs Dicey and pulls him away as the chair narrowly misses. Roth spins to swing the weapon again as Harris & Dicey clatter into him with a double clothesline to take him over the top rope and collapsing in a heap on the floor.
*The commentators talk about Harris & Dicey drawing first blood against Genesis here tonight ahead of WarGames as well as another brutal showing from The Parasite Killers and Robin Reborn furthering his issues with Anthony Grace.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*Miss Jessica and Engel Harlequin take over the screen now. Miss Jessica is her usual, venomous, self. She says the days of “smoke and mirrors” and all the “supernatural (beep)” is over and done with. Because with her by his side, Engel has finally tapped into the source of his power. The violence and the unyielding desire to maim and destroy anyone in their way. Miss Jessica says Engel Harlequin is the “King of Xtreme” and sooner or later the whole world will know exactly what that moniker means. “So….watch…..this…..space”. Engel just glares into the camera as Jessica cackles.
*Alex Walker places an arm around Jenny McManus’ shoulder as she is walking backstage. Alex has a “business proposition” to put her way and invites Jenny to join him in his office. Jenny says she was concerned that PK’s loss would hamper their forward momentum but Walker quashes that fear and says “There are much more important matters at hand, The Parasite Killers have a huge role to play in the future of 6CWF”. Jenny is clearly seduced by Walker’s offer as she follows him into his office.
*Scott Harris joins Jack Reynolds backstage following his submission victory. Harris says it felt good to earn another “W” over Genesis but everything hinges on “WarGames” and ending this once and for all. Reynolds wants to know Harris’ motivation for continuing this battle and Harris says it’s real simple….Genesis have plagued his career since May and he believes he truly needs to exorcise them from his life before he can realise his dream of becoming world champion. Day of Reckoning Night 1…..Defeat Genesis…..Day of Reckoning Night 2…..Win the Gateway to Glory…….Night of Glory…..Become World Champion…….
Dicey Reilly walks in and he claps Harris on the shoulder before congratulating him on their win. Dicey says he likes Harris’ plan but, unfortunately, the only person winning the Gateway to Glory will be him…..Dicey says he came back to prove he still belongs at the top table and Night of Glory will be that night when he becomes world champion for the fourth time….and nobody, friend or foe, will stand in the way of that.
Dicey and Harris stare at one another for a long moment until the scene comes to an end.
*Max Adamson is sitting in his dressing room when Chris Patricks enters. Patricks wants Max to know he’s got his back through this whole thing. They are “blood brothers” and they have been to war together and against one another but they’ve always come back to one another’s side because they are “family”. Patricks wants Max to know that anything that happens from here on out is “for the greater good” and admits that Max may not like everything he does but he needs to know that it is “necessary evil” because the only way to derail Genesis is to fight fire with fire.
Patricks says Max has plenty of “allies in the closet” but the likes of Uryu, Anthony Grace, GazzyD, Xanthi, Marlon etc “don’t have the balls to do what I have the balls to do”…..”this is a war and in war there are casualties, everyone is a target”…..Patricks says he’s going to get ready for the main event and he will see Max later on. Max continues to sit, back against the wall, as he looks down at his hands, lost in thought.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Bout 2
Engel Harlequin vs ???
Engel Harlequin vs ???
*Former 6CW superstar Joe Frasier is presented to the crowd as the opponent for Engel Harlequin (Harlequin’s first feud in 6CW). The commentators run us through the history between the two men as we discover that Frasier has been wrestling on the independent circuit for over a decade now.
*Engel enters with Miss Jessica by his side and then shuffles off down the rampway toward the ring. He rolls inside and he smirks as he looks up at Frasier. The referee calls for the bell as they circle one another and then lockup in the centre of the ring. Frasier looks to twist the arm and manipulate the joints but Engel reaches out and claws at his face to force a release. He then charges into Frasier and tackles him back into the corner before unloading with violent, shuddering, shoulder thrusts until the referee forces a break.
*They circle for another tie up but Engel lashes a kick into Frasier’s midsection and then snapmares him to the canvass before booting him in the spine. He runs the ropes and returns with a heavy kick to Frasier’s head before leaping into the air and he drives down his posterior onto the chest of Frasier. Harlequin looks savage as he drags Frasier up now and runs him forward before launching him through the ropes and into the ringpost. Frasier slumps there as Engel climbs out on the apron and then runs across and drives his hip into Frasier’s skull, further crushing him against the solid steel.
*JT believes this is all about sending a message to Liam Wood ahead of their “I Quit” match at Day of Reckoning. Engel steps back in the ring and he clambers onto the second rope before diving off with a kneedrop but Frasier avoids. Frasier suddenly tries to burst to life and he rolls over Engel and drags him into a crossface. But Engel actually begins to laugh through the submission as he clambers to his feet. Frasier tries to hold on but Engel scoops him up and then drops him with a sideslam. Engel crawls up in the corner as Frasier chases in but eats a thunderous back elbow to the jaw which sways him. Engel runs out and he lands a vicious kick to the shin that drops Frasier on his knees and then he runs the ropes behind and returns with a sickening kick to the back of the skull. Frasier is face down on the canvass as Engel leaps in the air and then stomps down on the back of his head.
*Miss Jessica is cackling with delight from the outside as Engel drags Frasier up and whips him into the corner. He follows in but Frasier throws his feet up to block. Engel stops short and grabs Frasier’s feet before slamming them back down to the canvass and then lands a hard clothesline to the throat. Engel climbs on the ropes and he lands vicious punches to the head before biting at Frasier’s face until the referee forces another break.
*Engel looks for the “Big Top” (Tiger Driver) but Frasier battles out and lands a glancing roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Engel stumbles to the ropes as Frasier rushes after him but Harlequin uses his opponent’s momentum to scoop him up and drop him, throat first, across the top rope. Engel drags Frasier around now and nails a “Dirty Deeds” DDT. He covers but pulls Frasier’s shoulder off the mat on two, grinning at the referee’s lambasting.
*Engel crawls on top of Frasier now and picks his head up before repeatedly smashing the back of his skull against the canvass. It is clear that Frasier is in a bad way as Engel gets back up to his feet and licks his lips. He stalks Frasier’s every move and then drags him in place for the “Self-Fulfilling Prophecy” (Sister Abigail) but Frasier drives repeated elbows into his temple until he releases. Engel runs back in but Frasier ducks him and manages to snap off a release German suplex. Frasier is on unsteady legs but makes his way to the corner now. He launches himself into a huge flying headbutt but eats nothing but canvass as Harlequin moves from the firing line.
*Engel looks deadly now as he lets Frasier stand and then applies a mandible claw (Ala Foley/The Fiend). Frasier thrashes but is no match and then Engel lifts Frasier off the canvass whilst still applying the submission and decimates him into the mat with sickening force. He continues to choke Frasier as the referee chooses to call for the bell and signal that the contest is over and done with. Engel continues to apply the hold, laughing all the while, as the referee tries to pull him free of Frasier. Engel rolls from the ring now and he pulls up the ring apron before retrieving the bloodstained barbed wire bat. He scares the referee away as Miss Jessica watches on, gleefully. Engel stands over Frasier now before attempting to force the bat inside of his mouth….the barbs can be seen ripping at the corners of Frasier’s mouth as his screams of agony and anguish fill the air.
*Security and more referees arrive to remove Engel from the ring as the commentators talk about the hell on earth that Engel is ready to unleash at Day of Reckoning. JT believes the level of violence we have seen thus far may be nothing compared to what lies ahead. Engel joins Miss Jessica in the aisleway and the evil duo look delighted with their actions. Harlequin shuffles after Jessica up the ramp toward the back as Frasier is given medical attention in the ring.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*Liam Wood is interviewed by Jack Reynolds. Wood reiterates that he is far from 100% and this feud with Engel Harlequin has pushed him to his physical limits. But he is motivated by being the best and that means winning the “Gateway to Glory” and headlining “Night of Glory”. But the only way he can achieve that is by ending Engel Harlequin’s “obsession with me”. Wood says he is all about first time evers….Gateway to Glory success, winning either the 6CW or 6WF World Championships…..and being the first man to make Engel say “I Quit”. Wood knows there are many who don’t believe it is possible but he vows to find a way because “every man has a breaking point, all you have to do is find it”.
*Daniel Reilly and Oliver Keane are preparing for tonight’s match with Clarke James when Clarissa approaches for a n interview. Reilly wants to take us all for a trip down memory lane and how he & Alex Walker have been mortal enemies since day one. Reilly tells us “not to get excited, I’m not your goddamn white knight” but says if Clarke James and Alex Walker want to make an enemy out of him then it will be the last thing they ever do and “Exodus” will be an apt name because they will be finished before they even get started. Daniel Reilly says all eyes are on him as 6CWF’s prize commodity and nothing will take away #30, his spot in the Gateway to Glory, the European Championship or his inevitable Night of Glory main event…..Reilly gets ready to leave but finds himself staring down with Dicey Reilly. Reilly adjusts the championship on his shoulder and clicks his tongue at Dicey with a smirk before walking away. The door to the trainer's room door then opens and Geoff Steel walks out (an icepack on his neck from his earlier bump) and he stares down Reilly as the scene ends.
*Blue Dragon arrives at the arena. He has the “KTTK” title over his shoulder as Timothy Allen races toward him and wants a word on last week’s ambulance ride with GazzyD as well as tonight’s main event. Blue Dragon remains coy on what did or didn’t get said last week between himself and GazzyD. It is not secret that he is currently in possession of the most dangerous weapon in 6CWF and he knows that everyone with a title must be (beeping) themselves right now. Blue Dragon says when the time is right the whole world will know what his plans are and who his prey will be.
But right now he’s enjoying the hunt. Sizing up each and every one of the current champions….knowing that when the time comes for him to strike, they won’t be able to do a goddamn thing to stop him…..Blue Dragon says right now everyone is debating about the future of 6CWF, who is running the show, who may return, who is or isn’t in the Gateway to Glory….is Max really Rex’s Dad…..who will headline Night of Glory…..everything is up in the air….but the one definitive, the one guarantee, the absolute banker is….Blue Dragon, sooner rather than later, will be the world champion….
He then turns and Chris Patricks is standing there. Dragon adjusts his title and stares at Patricks, who stares straight back and smirks. They continue to look at one another before Dragon says “The day will come, Chris…..just wait your turn”…..Patricks continues to smile as Dragon walks away toward the dressing rooms.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Bout 3
Jerome Dubois vs Liam Wood
Jerome Dubois vs Liam Wood
*We are back out at ringside as Jerome Dubois is making his way to ringside wearing a deep crimson robe with the words “Night of Glory Main Event” on the back. The commentators talk about how Dubois has been displaying a more aggressive side recently as he bids to put himself in contention for a prime position at Night of Glory. We get a recap of his victory over Mike Hill last week before we return to the ring and Dubois’ smug grin.
*Liam Wood then enters to a big ovation. The commentators wonder what Wood made of Engel’s performance earlier tonight and how will he respond ahead of their “I Quit” bout at Day of Reckoning. RJ also believes Wood will have one eye on the Gateway to Glory and securing himself another Night of Glory main event to add to an already hall of fame career.
*Wood climbs up into the ring and he just stares at his opponent as Dubois attempts to goad him with trash talk. The referee keeps both men apart before signalling for the bell to get us underway. The two men circle one another and then move in for a lockup but Dubois ducks under and slaps off a chop to the chest. He lets out a “Woo” and smirks at Wood before he is dropped by a thunderous forearm strike to the mouth. Wood lets Dubs back up and whips him off the ropes before drilling him into the mat with a flapjack slam.
*Wood deadlifts Dubois off the canvass and spins him over into a gutwrench backbreaker. He then heads to the corner and climbs up. Wood perches there and launches off with a flying lariat as Dubois gets to his feet. Dubois staggers back up and Wood chokeslams him into a backbreaker for a two. Wood heads to the corner again but Dubois is already up to clock him with a right hand. He climbs up with Wood now and attempts a superplex but Wood holds on and counters with a front slam suplex that sends Dubois crash landing on his chest. Dubois rolls away from the ropes as Wood steadies himself and then leaps into an elbow drop to the heart for another two count.
*Wood gives a signal to the fans and he runs the ropes for the “Psycho Crusher” stomp but Dubois sidesteps out and rakes all down Wood’s spine. He then drags him around and drills him into the mat with the “Au Revoir” (Sit-out sideslam) for a two. Dubois heads to the corner now and is successful with a missile dropkick before he grabs Wood’s leg for a single-legged Boston Crab. Wood is in plenty of pain from the hold but after almost a minute he is able to drag himself over to the ropes.
*Dubois breaks the hold but then stomps down on Wood until he rolls out of the ring for some respite. Dubois mocks the audience and then looks for a baseball slide to the outside but Wood sidesteps as Dubois lands on his feet and then eats a huge lariat from his foe. Wood drags Dubois back up and suplexes him into the air before dumping him, ribs first, across the ringside barrier. Wood drags himself up on the apron now before leaping off with an elbow drop (ala Mick Foley) to his opponent across the barrier. Wood considers a count out but shakes his head as he drags Dubois up and throws him back in the ring. Wood takes a deep breath before pulling himself up on the apron. He climbs inside now and watches as Dubois staggers up in the corner before he obliterates him with a yakuza kick to the jaw (ala Sami Zayn). Dubois is slumped against Wood’s chest as Wood lifts him onto the turnbuckle now and scores with a huge superplex into a standing falcon arrow (ala Seth Rollins). Wood cannot quite believe when Dubois just inches his shoulder off the mat on two.
*Dubois rolls out on the apron and tries to regain some composure. Wood eyes him up and sprints forward for an apron spear (ala Big E) but Dubs moves and then catches Wood’s head through the ropes. He then drops down and DDT’s Wood’s skull off the apron so that he falls back through the ropes into the ring. Dubois rolls in after and he beckons Wood up before demolishing him with a “French Connection” spear. Dubois spits in fury when Wood kicks out at two.
*Dubois drags Wood up and flips him for the “Culture Shock” (Dominator) but Wood fights off the back and counters into a backslide for a two count. They scramble back up and Wood scores with a hard elbow to the jaw which staggers Dubois and then kicks him in the stomach. He sets for the “Manson Driver” but Dubois swipes his legs and catapults him into the corner. Wood staggers back around as Dubois shouts “Viva Le Francaise” before nailing the “Garlic Bomb” for another two.
*Dubois’ frustration is growing as he heads from the ring to search for a weapon. He grabs a steel chair and heads back for the ring but the referee climbs out and tussles with him before removing the weapon. Dubs looks angry as he gets back on the apron and Wood thunders through him with an audacious apron spear that sends both men crashing down on the solid flooring. The referee has no choice but to begin counting them both out. It gets tense but both men make it back inside before the completion of the count.
*Dubs runs into the corner but eats double knees to the face that knocks him back. Wood lifts himself on the ropes and jumps off for an axe handle but Dubois lands a kick to the gut and he scores with the “Culture Shock”. Everyone thinks a three count is incoming but Wood somehow finds the ropes. Dubois is up now and in the referee’s face but the official dismisses him and points to the ropes. The French star now crouches in the corner again and he sprints out for a second spear but straight into a flash superkick to the jaw which staggers him around into a snap tiger suplex. Wood covers but Dubois kicks out.
*Wood watches as a red balloon rises from out of the crowd toward the rafters. He then turns and faces Dubois and drags him up. He whips him off the ropes and looks to pop him up for the “World Eater” but Dubois catches his leg on the way down. Dubois then drops to his knees and crashes Wood’s leg across his shoulder. He seizes the appendage now and applies a sharpshooter in the centre of the ring. Wood is a whole world of hurt and seems to be fading but somehow gains a second win enough to get him to the safety of the ropes.
*Dubois goes back to stomping on the leg some more and then looks to apply another single-legged crab but Wood uses his free leg to shove Dubois away and send him crashing against the turnbuckle. Wood gets to his feet now and he beckons Dubois around and sets for the “Manson Driver” but Dubois attacks the leg again and drags Wood to the floor before applying a Boston Crab once more. The commentators really believe Wood may have to quit and it is clear he is suffering but somehow he arches his body around and manages to pull Dubois down into an inside cradle for a close two.
*They fly back up and Dubois immediately stomps on the injured leg of Wood. He then drags him into a front facelock and lifts him into “Go Flasher” (Suplex into an uranage slam) but Wood floats over the back and shoves Dubois off the ropes before obliterating him with the “World Eater” as he comes back. Wood, however, uses his bad leg for the strike and collapses in pain on the floor. The commentators worry that all the injuries sustained over the last couple of months are starting to catch up on him.
*Wood takes a deep breath and lets out a roar as he beats his own leg with furious shots, seemingly trying to psyche himself through the pain. He staggers up as Dubois is on his knees and then he drags him into position and flips him up. He sways, unsteadily, on his bad leg but succeeds in nailing a lungblower. Again Wood holds his leg from the impact but he crawls over on top of Dubois, who is face down, and pulls him into the full nelson/camel clutch combo (Viper Lock). Dubois is in all kinds of trouble as he tries to rock his body toward the ropes but to reward. He can be heard muttering something to the referee and the official calls for the bell.
*The commentators are unsure what Dubois said as JT believes it was in French but the referee clearly felt he was giving up. Wood stumbles up, wincing at the pain in his leg, as the ref holds his hand up in victory. RJ and JT believe he also sent a message of intent by making Dubois submit (just like Engel did to Frasier) but they wonder how bad the injury is and what part that will play come “Day of Reckoning”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*Alex Walker visits Clarke James to see if he is ready for his upcoming match. Walker tries to talk about Daniel Reilly’s “tricks” but James holds up a hand to silence him. CJ says “this is my realm, you stick to the business plans…..Daniel Reilly is nothing but a lamb to the slaughter, and after him….the rest shall follow”. James places on his Scarecrow mask and heads for the door. Walker doesn’t look fully convinced.
*Jerome Dubois is throwing a fit as he has a referee pinned up against the wall in the backstage area. Security pour in to drag Dubois away and it is clear he is adamant he did not quit against Liam Wood. Dubois believes there is a conspiracy against him that has always existed because nobody wants to see him at the top. Dubois says change is coming and he will do whatever it takes in order to force 6CWF’s hand and recognise him as the “Phenom” that he truly is. Dubois says maybe the time has arrived for him to push the envelope and really show his true self.
*Eddy Kent wants to “talk” with Rex Adamson. He knows Rex has “signed up for the Gateway to Glory” and he just wants to make sure he is ready for what comes next. Kent says he has seen “greatness” in Rex from day one and knows he is destined for the mountain top, something that his Uncle Max tried to stall. Kent wants Rex to know that he and Genesis will support him and guide him in his quest for “Glory” and he knows that Rex will be the greatest 6CW World Champion in history…..Rex takes a look at Kent’s championship for a moment and then he nods. Kent says they will “Rule as one, two world champions under the Genesis banner” and “tonight will be a preview of our dominance”. Kent says that Max is getting desperate by bringing Chris Patricks back but he knows Rex will not be swayed be sentiment….he reminds Rex that any extension of Max is yet another factor in Rex being held back and he should remember that…..if Max Adamson held him back then Chris Patricks did too and for that they need to be eradicated….tonight is the chance to set in motion the chain of events that will culminate inside of WarGames and the end of this futile uprising……
Kent stands and tells Rex he is “proud of you and what you are about to do……the world is yours for the taking, all you have to do is reach out and seize it”.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Bout 4
Fight for #30
Daniel Reilly vs Clarke James
Fight for #30
Daniel Reilly vs Clarke James
*Clarke James makes his way out to the ring, alone, as the commentators talk about the disappointment he must be feeling having been thwarted by Daniel Reilly last week in Tokyo. RJ believes that may become a real issue for Reilly here tonight with the “#30” spot on the line, knowing that CJ & Alex Walker will do whatever it takes in order to ensure Exodus get what they want.
*Daniel Reilly enters now and although there are boos from the crowd there are audible cheers too as the audience are clearly behind the European Champion rather than Clarke James. The commentators talk about Reilly’s remarkable run of form since reuniting with Oliver Keane last September and how he is, undoubtedly, the favourite right now to win the “Gateway to Glory” match on March 8th. Oliver Keane holds the European Championship up behind Reilly as they walk to the ring.
*Reilly shows no intimidation as he climbs up in the ring to join Clarke James. They both just glare at one another as the referee gives them some final instructions. Reilly is talking to James and saying “Been here before, crushed Walker’s boys before….this time will be no different so I suggest you bow to the King”…..CJ almost smiles as he drives a boot up at the gut of Reilly but he catches it. Reilly grins now and wags his finger before spinning CJ around, only for James to leap into the air as he turns and lands a lariat. James drags Reilly up and immediately tries to suplex him but Reilly floats over the back and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker. Keane applauds from the outside as Reilly runs the ropes and returns with a flying baseball slide which sends James flying under the bottom rope and landing in a heap in the aisleway. Reilly tells the referee to count.
*CJ looks angered as he clambers up and climbs back in. Reilly rushes over and tries to pull him through the ropes for a hangman’s DDT but James lands on his feet and then falls backwards so Reilly’s throat crashes against the ropes. James punts Reilly in the ribs and then he drops on all fours and chokes him until the referee breaks them on four. James chokes again until the referee warns him about his conduct. James then drapes Reilly across the middle rope before rushing across the ring and returns with a splash (ala Big Bossman) which crushes Reilly into the ropes once more. Oliver Keane is looking concerned now. James circles and stalks Reilly before welcoming him back up. He grabs him for “Faithless” (Rock Bottom) but Reilly elbows his way free and then leaps into an excellent dropkick which takes James off his feet. Reilly leaps into a knee drop to the head and covers but only gains a two count.
*Reilly tries to drag James up and flip him into a powerbomb position but CJ leaps off the back and then scoops Reilly into a Samoan drop as he turns around. James heads for the corner now and twists off the top into a corkscrew senton. He covers and Keane looks worried but the European Champion finds a way to kick out. James’s dark eyes bore into his opponent as he drags him up again and hooks his arms in place for the double underhook piledriver (Jay Driller) but Reilly counters with a backdrop. James looks to get up and trap his opponent in the corner for a stinger splash but Reilly sidesteps and then nails a release German suplex. James stumbles back up one knee as Reilly just lashes a kick right into his face. Reilly then heads for the corner and launches off into a picture perfect frogsplash but James somehow finds it within himself to kickout on two.
*Reilly spits in frustration as he goes back on the hunt for the RKO. Clarke James puts the blocks on once more as he grabs Reilly’s arm and wraps it around his neck before pulling him down into a modified neckbreaker. Clarke James climbs from the ring now and he grabs a steel chair, much to the commentator’s surprise. The referee tries to get involved but CJ scares him off as he targets Reilly. The Euro Champ ducks the chairshot at the final second and then nails the RKO, drawing cheers from some of the audience. The referee’s count is coming down for the three when James McManus pulls the official out of the ring. Have The Parasite Killers joined forces with Exodus?
*McManus grins at Reilly from the outside and then takes Oliver Keane out with a huge lariat as he rushes around to confront the PK member. Daniel Reilly cannot quite believe it as The Fanatic climbs in behind him. Reilly turns around and Fanatic nails him with a ring-shaking chokebomb. He drags Clarke James up and dumps him on top but there is no referee to make the call. McManus pulls the referee back up and throws him in the ring. The official is incredibly groggy and Reilly is able to kick out on the count of two.
*McManus is in now and he and Fanatic pummel and stomp all over Daniel Reilly. They drag him to his feet and they lift him into position before nailing the “Parasite Killer” (Magic Killer) in the middle of the ring. Clarke James stumbles back to his knees and he eyes PK warily as they urge him to cover Reilly once again. The bell suddenly sounds as the referee has recovered enough to realise what has happened. Clarke James looks murderous as Reilly is declared victorious via DQ and it seems he will be keeping his #30 spot on the Gateway to Glory.
*Clarke James pretends to show mercy on the referee as he offers a hand to help him up before drilling him with the “Faithless” in the centre of the ring. He then grabs the steel chair and places it on the mat before ordering PK to get Reilly back to his feet. Reilly tries to fight them off and is having some real success until CJ kicks him between the legs. They then whip him off the ropes….Fanatic backdrops Reilly and whilst in midair McManus grabs his head and spikes him down on top of the solid steel of the chair (Shaker Heights Spike).
*Reilly is completely motionless on the canvass as the members of Exodus stand over him. The commentators debate on what the future may hold as Reilly seems to have become a real enemy to Clarke James and Co. JT wonders if this was just Alex Walker flexing some authority but RJ believes making more and more enemies on the roster is unwise of Walker and that Reilly should have been left well alone.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*Robin Reborn & Ojore are joined by Clarissa. Reborn is in his silk pyjamas and looks to be enjoying his new 6CWF contract. Reborn says it is great knowing he can rest up and heal until Day of Reckoning where he will finally dispose of Anthony Grace inside of a steel cage before moving on to win the “Gateway to Glory” for a second time. Robin Reborn says it is about time 6CWF recognises the magnitude of his star and what he brings to the table. Whereas Anthony Grace (following yet another beating at Ojore’s hands earlier) will barely be able to scrape what is left of himself to Las Vegas……Reborn says now is the time for Grace to finally bow out, with the shred of dignity he has left, join Charles Kramer in the afterlife of forgotten nobodies.
As for the upcoming match….Reborn says it is time the world remembered the “Man of War” who first struck fear into the heart’s of the “Xtreme Division”. Reborn says Ojore is a born killer and tonight the sight of Mike Hill’s mangled carcass will serve as a reminder to anyone who is foolish enough to cross their paths moving forward.
*The scene changes and Alex Walker is applauding as Clarke James, James McManus & The Fanatic enter his office. Jenny McManus is already sitting there with a glass of wine (James McManus shoots her a furtive look) and she stands to hug her husband. Alex Walker pours more glasses and he wants to toast “Exodus……the death of 6CWF as we know it and the rise of the future of professional wrestling”……Clarke James is staring at Walker and it is clear he wasn’t aware of PK’s alignment with the group. Walker tells James that “#30 may have passed us by but what I have planned is a cast iron guarantee that you win the Gateway to Glory and get that world title we agreed upon”…..CJ takes a long drink of win and then stares at Walker before saying “My patience for your end of the bargain is wearing thin….if this (he gestures to PK) is your answer, I’d start worrying…..an eye for an eye, Alex”…..James drains his drink now and walks out. Walker tries to laugh it off as he turns to PK now and pours more wine. He says “To the future” and they echo the sentiment as the scene ends with Walker staring at the doorway.
*The scene changes and a bloody and banged up Daniel Reilly is sat in the trainer’s room with Oliver Keane. Keane is telling Reilly that Walker is not going to stop hunting him if he continues to taunt the boss and advises that they take the “#30” and move on with their plans for domination. Reilly needs Keane to understand something and that is nobody does that to “The King” and gets away with it. Reilly says Alex Walker needs a cold, hard, reminder in why he is one of the most dangerous superstars in the history of this industry. He says “Next week he will remember”….Keane sighs at Reilly’s determination as the scene ends.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Bout 5
Mike Hill vs Ojore
Mike Hill vs Ojore
*We are back out at ringside as Ojore is charging to ringside whilst Mike Hill is waiting in the ring. The commentators remind us that Robin Reborn’s new contract means he no longer has to compete in weekly competition (only PPVs and Special Events) but Ojore is more than happy to pick up the flak for the “Wolf Gang”. JT reminds us that Mike Hill is also in a bit of a rut in his career but somehow finding a way to defeat Ojore would propel him back into real contention with “Night of Glory” on the horizon.
*Hill quickly rushes to the ropes and propels himself over the top into a crossbody but Ojore catches him in the aisleway. Ojore prepares to launch Hill but somehow he spins his body around and drills the big man on the solid flooring with a tornado DDT. Ojore stumbles back up against the steel steps as Hill runs over and dives into a low dropkick that crushes Ojore’s head against the steel. JT says “Ojore was once known as the “King of Xtreme” but Mike Hill is no stranger to this environment”.
*Ojore is in the ring now as the bell finally goes to get us underway. Hill is up on the top rope and launches off with a missile dropkick. Ojore sways but doesn’t go down as Hill now nails a spinning heel kick, Ojore finally falling on his back. Hill quickly points to the ropes and nails the lionsault off the ropes but Ojore powers out on two.
*Hill looks to grab Ojore’s head and nail the “Over The Hill” but Ojore shoves him into the ropes. He pops Hill up on the comeback but Hill drops over his shoulder and nails a backstabber. Hill staggers to the corner and amazes the audience as he launches himself off the top with “Mike Time” (450 Splah) but Ojore once again kicks out. Hill can’t quite believe how difficult it is to keep Ojore down.
*Robin Reborn is shown with a tub of popcorn in the back and seems to be enjoying the show. Back at ringside and Hill looks for a springboard into a moonsault takedown but Ojore catches him on his shoulders. The big man looks for a running powerslam but Hill drops off the back and shoves Ojore, chest first, into the turnbuckle. He looks for a rollup but Ojore is proving difficult to drag down….Ojore then leaps into the air and looks to crush Hill underneath him but Hill moves at the final second as Ojore lands hard on his backside. Hill quickly runs the ropes and returns with a brutal low dropkick to the mouth. He covers once again but Ojore kicks out.
*Hill goes to the legs with harsh kicks as Ojore tries to rise. Hill runs the ropes for more momentum but Ojore is ready for him and tilt-a-whirls him on the comeback. Hill tries to counter again with a headscissors but Ojore won’t be pulled down. He shows immense strength to launch Hill back up and then throws him at the turnbuckle with a release powerbomb. Ojore lets out a roar as he runs in for a huge splash but Hill throws himself out of the firing line at the final second. Hill clambers out on the apron and springboards back in with a legdrop across the back of Ojore’s neck. He makes the cover but Ojore powers out once more.
*The commentators are commending Hill’s efforts but he is finding out, first hand, why Ojore has been so feared throughout his career. Hill drags Ojore up and looks for a suplex but he isn’t strong enough. Ojore then lifts Hill into a suplex of his own before just launching him across the ring so that Hill lands hard on his chest. Ojore then gutwrenches Hill off the floor and throws him with a huge suplex. Hill staggers up in the corner now and Ojore obliterates him with a massive splash. Hill collapses on the floor as Ojore climbs onto the turnbuckle. He prepares for the “Banzai” drop but Hill rolls out on the apron at the final second.
*Ojore rolls away from the ropes as Hill pulls himself back up on the apron and springboards in with a legdrop across the throat. Hill points to the corner now, drawing cheers from the audience. He makes his way over and climbs up top. Hill prepares for the “Next Big Move” but lands across the knees of Ojore, causing an audible groan. Ojore grabs Hill with both hands now and delivers a thunderous headbutt that sends him back through the ropes and collapsing to the outside of the ring. The referee wants to keep Ojore at bay but he pushes past as he hunts Hill on the outside.
*Hill is clutching at the steel steps and trying to get himself back up. Ojore lets out another primal roar as he sprints forward for a huge back splash (ala Umaga) but Hill throws himself away and the big man crashes through the steps in a heap. Hill stumbles to the ringside barrier and he climbs up on top before delivering a shooting star press to his felled opponent. The referee wants Hill to get back in the ring so he can count Ojore out. Hill contemplates it and rolls under the ropes but he has other ideas on his mind.
*Hill works the crowd as he waits for Ojore to stand on the outside and then he runs the ropes and returns with a suicide dive but Ojore catches him, amazingly, with a leaping headbutt that lands to the head/chest of Hill whilst he is in mid-flight. Hill is in all manner of trouble as Ojore throws him back in the ring now and immediately crushes him in the corner with a running back splash (ala Umaga). Ojore then follows up with a chest-crushing “Banzai” drop from the turnbuckle. JT believes Hill’s ego may have cost him a victory here because Ojore was primed for a count out loss…..RJ agrees but Hill wanted to put on a show.
*The referee is telling Ojore that the match can end but Ojore is not willing to listen as he drags an almost dead weight of Hill to his feet and then absolutely obliterates him with a “World’s Strongest Slam”. He hooks the leg and gets the three count. The crowd are booing but the commentators believe Ojore has sent a huge message of intent to the roster. JT believes the “Man of War” will not be content just being Robin Reborn’s henchman and he will want huge accolades in his 6CWF future.
*Ojore looks like he is ready to continue the demolition of Hill as he drags him to the corner again. He climbs onto the turnbuckle for a second “Banzai” drop when Anthony Grace storms the ring and lands a huge low blow as the crowd cheer. Grace shoves Ojore over the top rope now and tumbling to the hard flooring. The commentators talk about Grace’s ongoing issues with Reborn/Ojore as well as the fact that would have been a legal elimination in the “Gateway to Glory”. Grace continues to milk the crowd’s reaction as we get another shot of Reborn watching backstage, the popcorn is now everywhere and Reborn is looking furious.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*We get a recap on both Engel Harlequin & Liam Wood’s victories earlier tonight as the “I Quit” match is hyped at Day of Reckoning. Liam Wood is ready to leave the arena and we see him climbing into his car. He opens the front seat as a red balloon rises out and past his head into the night sky. Wood watches the balloon glide out of sight before he clambers inside and drives away. From the shadows we see Miss Jessica watching him.
*Scene change and Anthony Grace is talking with Jack Reynolds. Grace says Reborn/Ojore can pull all the blind side attacks they want but at “Day of Reckoning” inside of a steel cage it will just be himself and Reborn and that is where this will end. Grace says every disgusting word and every heinous act that Reborn has performed will come back to haunt him inside of that cage and whilst he is no sadist, he will enjoy every last moment of the beating he will inflict upon his rival. Then it is onwards and upwards. Grace says next week he has heard they will draw the numbers for the “Gateway to Glory” and whether he has to go from coast to coast or a one scene show stealer….he will be victorious and he will have his “Night of Glory”.
*Edward Plague has lit candles all around the 6CW Championship and he is chanting as GazzyD enters the room. Plague wants to know what Blue Dragon said to him last week but Gazzy says it was all cryptic (beep). He says Dragon may or may not want the 6CW Championship but he’d be a fool to even try it because there is nobody who can dethrone him as champion. Plague glares at Gazzy as he talks about how important the belt is to their future and that Blue Dragon, Uryu or anyone else cannot be allowed to try and take their most prized possession…….Gazzy indicates that he understands but tries to appease Plague as he tells him that he would not allow anyone to take it away. Plague says tonight they must ward off the wolves at the door.
*We see Chris Patricks waiting as Max Adamson joins him in Gorilla. Patricks claps Max on the shoulder as they prepare to walk out for the main event. The scene then switches as Eddy Kent winks at Rex Adamson and shoulders the 6WF Championship. Rex looks at the gold and Kent tells him “Soon, my son, soon you will have one of your own…..Genesis guarantees it….I guarantee it…..but first we must silence your oppressors”. Rex nods and follows Kent from the room.
*One final scene change and Uryu is just coming down off the roof when Blue Dragon steps in his way. Uryu says “Tonight, we work together….after that, I guess we do what we have to do”….Dragon smirks as he shoulders the “KTTK” title and he retorts “You do what you have to do, kid….me? I do what I want, when I want”. Dragon walks off toward the ringside as Uryu watches him, warily. Ishida says “Just another day in the madhouse” as he follows BD.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
Main Event
Max & Paddy vs Edward Plague/GazzyD vs Genesis vs Blue Dragon/Uryu Ishida
Max & Paddy vs Edward Plague/GazzyD vs Genesis vs Blue Dragon/Uryu Ishida
*The noise is deafening as we return to ringside for the main event. The commentators are running us through all the different scenarios and offshoots of the upcoming bout. RJ believes we may be about to witness “something beyond the realms of chaos”. Edward Plague and GazzyD are the first team to make their entrance and it is clear once again that Edward Plague is in possession of the 6CW Championship belt as GazzyD walks at the side of his “leader”. JT does believe it is strange how Gazzy earned the right to call himself champion but seems happy for Plague to carry the belt around as thought it belongs to him. RJ believes it is some kind of “Manson trick” where Plague makes the achievements of others all about himself.
*Uryu then arrives and is joined on the ramp by Blue Dragon. There are some boos but it seems Dragon has some support in the crowd as well. BD smirks at Uryu before making his way down to the ring to confront Gazzy and Plague. The commentators talk about how Blue Dragon accosted Gazzy inside an ambulance last week but we don't know exactly what was said. Edward Plague’s dark eyes are now fixed on Dragon and the commentators talk about how Plague will be concerned about the threat posed by BD….as well as the fact that Uryu is still out for revenge. Uryu clambers up on the turnbuckle now and he sits there, staring across at Gazzy/Plague, whilst Blue Dragon holds up the “KTTK” belt.
*There is a standing ovation as Chris Patricks and Max Adamson make their entrance. The former tag team champions and world champions make their way onto the stage as we get a recap on Patricks’ return last week in Tokyo and the “WarGames” announcement. Patricks looks in phenomenal shape as he makes his way around the ring to tag hands with the fans. JT runs down the history between Patricks & Max and how it may have come as somewhat of a surprise that CP returned to save Max given their history. RJ says Max will need all the help he can get come “Day of Reckoning” so perhaps he can’t afford to turn down help when it is offered.
*Genesis then arrive. There are cheers from some of the die-hards as well as boos from the rest of the crowd as Eddy Kent and Rex Adamson stride onto the stage. We get a recap on tonight’s earlier match which saw Sweetwater and Roth come up short at the hands of Harris/Dicey and whether Genesis can even the score in this main event. Eddy Kent is grinning at Max and Patricks as they climb up into the ring. Rex’s eyes are fixed on Patricks and it is clear that he wants to get in there with “The Enigma”. Kent pats Rex on the chest and whispers in his ear, smirking as he does so…..the referee has some final words with all eight participants. The commentators struggle to believe any referee would be able to keep control of such a combustible match.
*Chris Patricks steps in to begin and he spins all around the ring, drawing cheers from the crowd, as he waits for an opponent to step forward. There is a big staredown between Blue Dragon and Patricks (plenty of history) but then Rex Adamson leaps over the ropes to start the bout. Patricks grins and nods his head as he beckons Rex forward into a lockup. They engage and Rex uses superior strength to launch CP back against the ropes. Patricks ducks a clothesline as he comes back and then leaps into the air for a hurricanrana takedown. Patricks winks at Rex as they rise. They storm forward again but Rex ducks under again before lashing a sidekick into the ribs of Rex. He grabs Rex’s head and then runs to the ropes, springboarding off them and drilling him with a bulldog. Patricks works the audience as he stands up before offering a tag to Max. They drag Rex up and whip him off the ropes….Patricks nails a dropkick on the comeback which sends Rex backward into a German suplex from Max for a two count.
*Max throws Rex to the corner and drills him with sickening shoulder thrusts before lifting him onto the turnbuckle. He climbs up and prepares for a superplex but Rex battles back with a flurry of punches before shoving him down to the canvass. Max gets back to his feet as Rex leaps toward him and knocks him down with a shoulder tackle. Rex gets back up and runs the ropes before returning with a leaping high knee to Max’s jaw which sends him staggering to the corner. Rex circles the ring and charges in for a spear but CP pulls Max away and sends Rex through the ropes into the ringpost. Max waistlocks Rex away now and connects with a hat-trick of German suplexes. Max glares at Eddy Kent as he heads for the corner and climbs up top. Max prepares himself for the shooting star headbutt but Eddy Kent runs across the apron and swipes his feet, crotching him up top. Chris Patricks looks to break in the ring but the referee holds him back. Rex is able to get back up now and shows great athleticism to leap onto the top rope before pulling Max into a ring-shaking superplex (ala LA Knight). Rex crawls over and tags in Eddy Kent now.
*Kent orders Max to stand up and he sets himself for the “Genesis Kick” but Max dodges at the last second. Max immediately lifts Kent into an electric chair position but Kent drops off the back and lands an inverted headlock backbreaker into a spinning neckbreaker for a two. Kent stands and stomps on Max’s head repeatedly until the referee intervenes and backs him away. Kent is talking trash to Max as he waits for him to get up and then he drags him in close for the “Mic Check” but Max elbows his way to freedom. Max runs the ropes now for the “Gore” but Rex drives a knee through the ropes into Max’s spine. Max staggers around and glares at Rex….Chris Patricks then runs in and uses Max’s back as a springboard into a huge dropkick which sends Rex flying off the apron and crashing against the ringside barrier. CP can be heard telling Max “Kid needs to learn some manners”…….Max nods and then turns around but eats a hard boot to the gut from Kent and a massive spiked DDT for a two count.
*Kent looks around at everyone else on the apron now and we hear him say “Take a good look at he true world champion”…..he smirks at Blue Dragon and then he heads to the corner and climbs up top. Max is still on the canvass as Kent sets his feet and then launches into the “Kent Bomb” but Max moves at the final second. Both men are in a heap on the canvass and in need of a tag. Max is closing in on CP when Rex rags him off the apron and then smashes him, head-first, into the steel steps. Max looks all around for a way out and, almost begrudgingly, makes the tag to Uryu Ishida. Ishida leaps over the ropes and charges into the corner where he explodes into a dropkick on Eddy Kent. He circles the ring and repeats the process twice more before he lifts Kent high up on the ropes. Uryu signals to the crowd as he clambers up and then delivers an astonishing top rope hurricanrana on the 6WF Champion. Kent clutches his spine as he staggers back up and Uryu drags him in close before spinning him around and throws him to the corner….beckoning for either Edward Plague or Gazzy to tag in and face him.
*Gazzy looks set to step through the ropes but Plague slaps the shoulder of Kent and climbs in. He glares at Uryu as they circle one another. They look for a lockup but Ishida ducks under and lashes a hard kick to the gut and then another to the back of Plague’s knee which drops him down. Uryu quickly runs the ropes but he is popped up on the comeback, only for Uryu to come back down and catch him with a spinning tornado DDT. Plague staggers to his feet as Uryu hits him with a running dropkick to the back which sends him crashing into the turnbuckle and he falls to a seated position. Uryu then charges in and he leaps onto Plague’s chest before repeatedly stomping on his chest (ala Spike Dudley). Plague rolls away from the ropes as Uryu clambers up on the turnbuckle. Ishida leaps through the air and he frogsplashes into an elbow drop but Plague kicks out on two. Uryu is quickly back up (the commentators remarking on this new physical side of him) and he grabs Plague by the head before unleashing with brutal “Muay Thai” knees to the face which leaves Plague sprawled on his back. Uryu heads to the corner again and prepares for the “Split Second” (450 Splash) as GazzyD clambers in. The referee rushes over to block GazzyD off which distracts Uryu’s attention. Plague gets back up and uncorks a huge uppercut under Uryu’s chin. Plague then pulls Ishida off the top rope into a brutal iconoclasm. He smirks as he kneels over Uryu and then points over to Gazzy….he heads over and slaps the 6CW Champion’s hand. “Finish this imposter” Plague orders as Gazzy climbs in and circles his enemy.
*Gazzy sets for “Deep Impact” but Uryu swipes his legs from under him and bridges over the top for a close two count. They scramble back up and Uryu sidesteps Gazzy as he rushes forward and sends him toward the ropes. Gazzy stops short and holds his hands up in a mercy plea as he nearly clattered Blue Dragon. Dragon smirks as he stares into Gazzy’s eyes and then the world champion turns around to eat a huge buzzsaw roundhouse kick to the head from Ishida. Uryu listens to the roar of the crowd as he makes his way to the corner and leaps up top. Plague begins to climb through the ropes but suddenly Blue Dragon steps between him and Uryu. There is a monstrous staredown between the two men as the commentators talk about Dragon showing absolutely no fear in the face of Plague. Gazzy has stumbled back to his feet as Uryu leaps from on high and takes him down with an overhang neckbreaker. Uryu suddenly sprints up and past Blue Dragon into a flying dropkick to the chest that sends Plague through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Uryu circles the ring now before sprinting forward and he sentons over the top into a takedown on Plague as the audience goes wild.
*The cameras shoot to the outside as Max and Rex Adamson are embroiled in an argument. Max is labelling Rex “a turncoat” and says “WarGames is the only option”. Max turns his back and Rex is urged on by Eddy Kent to attack but suddenly Chris Patricks runs up the steel steps and dives through the air with a headscissors on Rex which sends him clattering into Kent and scrambling across the floor. Patricks and Max stare at one another for a long minute and we hear Patricks say “You can’t afford to look at him like family anymore…..kill or be killed”……Eddy Kent staggers back up as Max barges past CP and runs into a huge clothesline that sends Kent over the railings and into the crowd. Max gives chase as the cameras try to follow him pummelling Kent through the audience toward the backstage area. Rex Adamson then bursts to his feet and he picks Patricks up and demolishes him into the ringpost before giving chase toward his Uncle and Kent. Patricks is slow back to his feet but eventually he follows as well. The commentators remark on how both Genesis and Max/Patricks have seemingly left the match behind.
*Back in the ring and Uryu is back on the apron. He is waiting for Gazzy to rise and springboards in for the flying forearm but Gazzy sidesteps and then snaps off the “History Maker” (inverted twist of fate) for a two count. Gazzy rises and he lands three leg drops in succession before he drags Uryu toward the corner. Gazzy turns on his heel and then connects with “starship pain” but Ishida once again shows amazing resilience to kickout. Gazzy looks to Plague (who has returned to the apron) and then he drags Uryu into the middle of the ring. He sets for “Deep Impact” once again but Ishida succeeds in countering with a backdrop. Uryu beckons Gazzy up and he springs off the ropes before landing a flying knee strike on the return. He then drags Gazzy up and connects with a standing “Spanish Fly” but Gazzy is once again able to throw his shoulder up off the mat. Uryu listens to the energy of the audience as he tries to lift Gazzy for a “Michinoku Driver” but Gazzy flails off the back and then scores with a spinning heel kick as he turns around. Gazzy makes his way to the apron now and he springboards back in with a 450 headbutt but Uryu moves at the final second. Edward Plagye quickly rushes in now and he scoops Uryu up for the “Purifier” (Omega Driver) but Ishida flips over his shoulder and then he lets Plague sprint toward him before pulling down the top rope and sends him sprawling to the outside of the ring. Uryu shows amazing agility now as he runs to the corner and springs onto the turnbuckle before launching over the ropes to the outside with a phenomenal forearm smash that leaves Plague sprawled in a heap on the hard flooring.
*We head backstage now and there is utter turmoil in the backstage area. Referees and security have poured into shot as it becomes evident that the rest of Genesis as well as Scott Harris and Dicey Reilly have joined the melee. We see bodies flying all over the shop as Dicey Reilly runs Michael Sweetwater forward and launches him against a huge hangar door, leaving him sprawled in a heap on the concrete. Scott Harris is brawling with Tyler Roth before Roth picks Harris up and slams him on the bonnet of a nearby car. Eddy Kent looks to blindside Max Adamson with the “Genesis Kick” but Max dodges it and then scoops Kent for the “Cyclone”. Kent rakes at Max’s eyes and then falls behind him. They turn to continue their fight when all eyes are drawn on top of the storage cage in the corner of the lobby. Rex Adamson looks as though he is preparing to powerbomb Chris Patricks off the top but Patricks swivels on his shoulders and connects with a poisionrana. Rex tries to stagger back up as Patricks lands a thunderous superkick right on his jaw. Eddy Kent’s eyes are wide as Patricks somehow has a ladder and he sets it up on top of the cage. He yells down to Max “I’ll teach this little (beep) a lesson he’ll never forget”. Patricks scales the ten foot ladder, placing him nearly thirty foot off the concrete floor, and then he drops off into the “Puzzle Solver” (Five Star FrogSplash) which crushes Rex into the roof of the cage. There is shock on everyone’s faces as EMTs are called and security pull the rest of the fighters apart.
*We head back to ringside now as Uryu has grabbed Gazzy’s arm and is trying for the “Sunset” armbar but Gazzy swivels free and pokes him in the eyes. Gazzy prepares for the “Deep Impact” once more but Ishida turns to the side and scoops Gazzy on his shoulders. Gazzy elbows his way free and drops off before shoving Uryu to the corner. Blue Dragon makes the tag now and Gazzy’s face drops whilst the audience goes wild. Dragon climbs through the ropes and makes a beeline for the 6CW Champion but then suddenly spins back on his heel and almost decapitates Uryu with a thunderous discus lariat. Gazzy can barely contain his glee as he gives Dragon the thumbs up. Edward Plague is up on the outside and he, too, looks delighted as it seems Blue Dragon has joined their ranks. Dragon high fives Gazzy and returns his thumbs up. Gazzy turns to Plague, full of smiles, as Dragon puts his thumb down now. The crowd are cheering as Plague can only watch on. Gazzy turns back around as BD clutches him by the throat and lifts him into a ring-shattering 360 spinning chokeslam. Dragon glares at Plague as he drags Uryu back up now and decimates him with the “Deathnote” before he stacks one on top of the other and calls for the referee to make the count. Dragon is declared the winner and is all smiles as he stands tall and stares straight at Edward Plague. The commentators talk about one hell of a message being sent by Dragon here tonight. Edward Plague has been so focused on taking the 6CW Championship and keeping it from Uryu but he overlooked the biggest and baddest predator on the foodchain. Dragon continues to stand over Uryu and Gazzy whilst Edward Plague stares at him.
*We head backstage once more as Chris Patricks is just coming down off the storage cage. Max Adamson still seems stunned as we see Rex Adamson sitting on the edge of an ambulance. Rex is clearly in some discomfort from his ribs. Eddy Kent is standing beside Rex and is glaring over….we hear him yell “I can’t believe you’d let that savage loose on your own nephew….you should be ashamed”……Patricks then turns to Max and says “That’s nothing compared to what I’ll do to end these lot inside WarGames”. Max is non-comital in his response as the show comes to a close.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - Feb 9th (Episode 25)
*An hour or after the show has finished there is scene inside of Alex Walker's office. Blue Dragon is standing there in front of him and the "Key to the Kingdom" Championship is laid out on the desk.
Walker: And you're 100% sure? There's no going back once the decision is final...
*Dragon stares at the title and then back up at Walker
Dragon: Make it happen...
