South Africa vs Portugal
Andre Esterhuizen committed a textbook red-card head-high tackle in the opening minutes.
On commentary, Victor Matfield was surprised it even got yellow, as he didn't see head contact me and thought the Portuguese player went down through whiplash.
It was referred upstairs, and the yellow was upgraded to red.
Portugal scored first, and the Boks answered with their own try.

South Africa got a croc-roll yellow card too but they have still scored 29 unanswered points.

It's been a very entertaining game played in front of an enthusiastic crowd. No idea why the SA commentators think that viewers are being forced to watch and it's up to the commentators to contrive some excitement.

No idea what the commentators were talking about. I thought this was a good performance by Os Lobos. They were never going to win, but were not simply happy to be there - they gave it a lash. And seemed to enjoy the spectacle.
They played with the spirit which can only come from players who know they were over their collective heads, but didn't care. Lovely post-match interview with Tomás Appleton, the inside centre. Also didn't remember that Simon Mannix was their head coach. And, finally, certainly credit to the Boks who respected Portugal and the occasion.

And as a last point, Victor Matfield looks like he still hasn't combed his hair since his playing days....
