I will be interested to see the backlash from the South African media and supporters after two red cards in consecutive weekends against the Bulls were rescinded.

No surprises that the second one was rescinded, but Kriel's was spot on. Then I actually thought they wouldn't rescind Grobbelar's out of spite.

The SA franchises are all up against strong opposition this weekend so it will be interesting. I imagine those playing at home in South Africa will win convincingly.

Some shocking errors from Scarlets so far. They went 3-0 up then a stupid offload from Ioan Lloyd in his own 22 led to a knock on advantage and then a drop goal for Zebre to equalise. A silly knock on from Plumtree in attack. Then Roger’s (I think) with a poor clearance kick straight into a Zebre player. Scarlets look a bit clueless at the moment.

A few good moves and runs in a row for Scarlets, and a nice try. Lloyd not great with the kick off the tee though. Misses the conversion.

Scarlets starting to get it together and getting more of the possession and territory.

Scarlets have clicked now and are putting together some good stuff and scoring good tries. Plumtree is playing well and linking well with the backs. Macs Page looks a good player.

Like the look of Page too. I thought he may have snuck into the Welsh squad.

Couldn't watch it, but good to hear Eddie James was POTM. Gatland could have some form centres, if he wanted to go that way.

Yeah, the Scarlets caused a bit of mayhem in midfield. Lots of good moves, line breaks, miss passes, dummy runners, inside balls, etc. Like the Scarlets of old. Bamboozled the Zebre defence on a number of occasions. Was good to watch (mainly the 2nd half when they got their act together).

Two visits to the 22 each, Connacht 14-0 up v Dragons FFS.

Think Blacker blew our first visit twice (appealing to the ref and slowing us down, plus that wrong and pass to Dyer). Then the lineout on the second one, it was clear we were going nowhere.

Blacker swatted aside for the 3rd try there. Woeful Dragons. The better looking side we seem to have been at home so far this season is nowhere to be seen Sad

Well, a good week for the Welsh regions overall with 3 wins out of 4. A helluva comeback by Cardiff v Ulster. 0-19 at halftime and 21-19 by the end of the 2nd half. Kudos.

Unfortunately my beloved Dragons letting the side down again. Managed a late try but were 26-0 down until late in the game and just didn’t look like scoring the whole game. Very poor, after what looked like a promising start to the season.

3/4 is a good result for the Welsh teams. Dragons need to do something in this reset now. Cardiff away next too, where we usually no show.

Dragons looked well off the pace. Aren’t these pros paid to keep fit?

I thought Cardiff were going to get a hiding, remarkable comeback.

Dragons have had their new fitness coach, who has been praised to the hilt. It is a bit strange that they’re falling off games recently.

To be fair its hard enough for most teams to get away wins in the league so I'm not surprised we are not doing well. My concern is he is overplaying the team and not rotating enough. That won't end well for us.

Yet we lost 3 home games on the bounce.

I see that Graham Rountree has been axed by Munster. Bit of a surprise.

On a side note I can see these 6-2 split SA teams like to do are becoming more and more common in the other URC countries.  Seems this bench strategy is getting quite good results in the URC at the moment.
