6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
First topic message reminder :
*We go live from inside the sold-out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. There is a monumental pyrotechnic display taking place whilst “Unforgettable” booms through the speaker systems. The cameras pan around to show a wide array of celebrities in attendance including the Spurs football team. Big Ange receives a giant ovation as he appears on the big screens before all attention turns to the stage as Sabrina Carpenter is introduced.
Sabrina spends the five/six minutes singing some of her most famous songs (fill your boots) and then drops to her knees for some of her famous microphone work (we’ve all seen the videos). The crowd are sufficiently enamoured (let’s be honest she’s ridiculously hot) and she blows kisses into the camera.
RJ: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Born in Fire XII….we stand on the cusp of history….tonight; nine matches are signed in what promises to be an event for the ages….sixty two thousand fans are jam-packed inside this incredible stadium…..I am, as ever, joined by Jeff Thadeus….Jeff; how excited are you?
JT: RJ, be happy you can’t see how excited I am after that Sabrina Carpenter performance….but in all seriousness this is the big one….what a night we have in store….this is the halfway point of the 2024/2025 season and I believe 6CWF is going to break all records here tonight….
RJ: Four world titles will be decided…..we’ve got 25 years in the making between Liam Wood & Thunder….look at that “Hardcore Hell” structure high above the ring……kicking things off with a Freshers Ball ladder match….this is beyond comprehension, this is the big leagues….this is the night when you make yourself famous…
JT: When stars become superstars….legends become icons….ladies and gentlemen the time for talking is well and truly over….we are ready for action, this crowd is most certainly ready and I know every single superstar there in the back is ready to come out here and put on a show…
RJ: BORN IN FIRE, BABY!

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
*We return backstage for the final time as the Genesis Express is shown outside of the stadium. Miss Jessica has stepped off it as Eddy Kent climbs down to join here and they look up at the bright lights.
Rex Adamson is walking the halls now and he is being applauded and wished luck by everyone. He reaches Gorilla now and Max Adamson is there with Xanthi Rose, Frank Horrigan, Duke Dylan Debadguy and a banged up but beaming Jackson Jackson. Rex hugs them all in turn....
Max: This is your night...
Jackson: Go get 'em, champ!
*Rex turns back to them all and then turns away, psyching himself up.

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
Main Event
6WF World Heavyweight Championship
Eddy Kent (c) vs Rex Adamson
Mike Bird: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, Grammy nominated rap sensation, BabyTron!
The lights go dark, and there is a sole spotlight on BabyTron. The opening bars of "Tobey" by Eminem hits and the stadium erupts, as Rex Adamson walks out and stands behind BabyTron, he is wearing a zip-up hoodie with the new Champ Slayer logo on the front, with the hood up, he looks pumped as BabyTron raps a modified version of the chorus of Tobey while the pair walk down the ramp together;
Rex and BabyTron share a hug and Rex is left alone at the bottom of the ramp, the normal version of "Tobey" now playing. Rex is staring up at the ring in front of him, and looks around at the capacity crowd chanting his name. He smirks as if to acknowledge the situation and he looks ready to go, he gets into the ring, removes his hoodie, displaying a black and red singlet with the same Champ Slayer logo on the front. He is bouncing from one foot to the other ala Brock Lesnar, and is waiting for his opponent to join him as his music fades out. He is focused on the entranceway, awaiting Eddy Kent.

Tobey Maguire got bit by a spider, but see, Rex, it was a Goat
If you want space, I hope you take your helmet off soon as you get up to Venus and choke
Even while sleepin', be thinkin' so woke
White Cartiers, all I'm seein' is dope
My city Leia and I'm Obi-Wan, got a mission to pass, I just might be the hope

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
[Tottenham Stadium is at fever pitch as the crowd are going wild for Rex Adamson as he paces the ring focused and determined. The sellout crowd are chanting for Rex loudly and ferociously as the tension is at boiling point for the main event. The camera pans around the stadium to the time keeping area where a resplendent Mike Bird is standing by. Bird is wearing a three piece black suit with a baby blue tie. Bird raises the microphone to his lips as the crowd eagerly await what he has to say.]
MB: Ladies and gentlemen... She is the voice of Genesis and the self proclaimed mami of Genesis, give it up for Miss Jessica!
[The vast majority of the sellout crowd within Tottenham stadium descend into ferocious boos while a small but raucous contingent of Genesis fans go wild at what Bird has just said. Rex continues to pace the ring, his eyes fixed on the ramp. In a staggered fashion, the arena lights shut off one after the other until the stadium is bathed in darkness. The shrieking noise of an Emergency alert [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] pierces the night air loudly as the titantron lights up with a poison coloured Genesis G in the centre with soundwaves coming from it. The Scene then changes to Miss Jessica who is being broadcast from the Titantron. Jessica is wearing her usual poison green Gucci jumpsuit. Her blood red hair neatly cropped and she also has a golden necklace with G in its centre. Jessica is sat bolt upright in what appears to be her Genesis podcast studio. Jessica has that arrogant condescending smirk etched across her face as the fans are booing in their droves. Jessica then purses her lips, locks her hands for a moment, almost in prayer and bows her head. A few seconds pass before Jessica stares back into the camera, lifting her head up before speaking poison.]
MJ: Ladies and gentlemen... this is it. This is the battle where the soul and the future of 6CWF will be decided. I want all of you, especially Genesis patriots inside Tottenham stadium and around the world. Use your voice. And I want you all to tweet with the hashtag Genesis Guides Us All and of course Save 6CWF. Make no mistake what you are about to witness...
[Jessica raises her hand to her mouth and bites her knuckle. She then deeply exhales as a crocodile tear runs down her cheek. She wipes it away before looking with pride directly into the camera and speaks again]
MJ: What you're about to witness is the dawn of a new future. Where the woke agenda and the Adamson cabal of chaos is stopped in it's tracks. This is the dawning of his era... a dawning of the era of Genesis. He is inevitable, he is our daddy, he is our hero and he is the greatest of all time. He is going to save 6CWF and he will save his son. Ladies and gentlemen... 6WF undisputed world heavyweight champion....Eddy Kent!
[Jessica pumps the air as and salutes as brainwashed Genesis fans enter shot wearing Kent and Genesis merchandise in the studio. They begin chanting loudly.]
Fans: SAVE 6CWF! SAVE 6CWF! SAVE 6CWF! SAVE 6CWF!
[The titantron then zaps out as the stadium returns to complete darkness. A few moments pass before the stadium slowly returns to light as "Police Riot sound effect" [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] begins to echo over Tottnenham Hotspur stadium. The voices heard are SAVE 6CWF over and and over again. From the top of the ramp, around one hundred Met riot police walk out one after the other, decked out in full riot gear, batons and shields. On the riot shields we see "Save 6CWF" in poison green and of course the Genesis G icon in poison green. The riot police march down the ramp, bashing their batons against the riot shields as the fans capture this moment on their iphones all around the arena. The riot police disperse to each side of the aisle and ramp and one after the other kneel, raising their shields Infront of them displaying "Save 6CWF" and the Genesis G. The sound effect slowly peters out as the arena is then bathed in darkness. "Numb" then explodes from the sound system as the fans go wild inside Tottenham stadium. Six more riot police enter at the top of the ramp, slamming their shields down on the steel ramp with the same message. Poison green smoke then rises from the sides of the main ramp as the six strong battalion stay firm. A few seconds pass before the six disperse as we finally see 6WF world heavyweight champion Eddy Kent who rises behind them like the devil himself. Kent is wearing black wrestling trouser attire in the form of riot gear with his crown jewel, the 6WF world title draped over his right shoulder. Kent stands motionless on top of the ramp before glancing at his right shoulder at the 6WF title. Kent takes it off his shoulder before raising it into the air with unprecedented aura over his head as poison green fireworks begin popping off from the top of the arena as the camera pans to the outside to see it in all it's glory. The fireworks peter out as green drones light up the sky once more with the Genesis G in the night sky.]
RJ: There he is, JT, the longest reigning, defending 6WF champion in history... Eddy Kent. Will he "Save 6CWF" or is it the dawning of the Rex Adamson era?
JT: I'm shaking RJ... this is spine chilling. I have goosebumps!
[Kent lowers the championship and places it back on his shoulder as he breathes in the atmosphere. Kent cricks his neck from side to side before locking eyes with Rex Adamson in the ring. Kent looks up to the sky, exhaling before striding down the ramp with that aura, that confidence and arrogance we are all used to. The riot police at his side begin beating their shields once more while some of them remind the crowd to stay back at distance as Kent marches down the ramp. Kent gets to the bottom of the ramp and stares at Rex Adamson and mutters something under his breath. Kent trudges up the steel steps and stands on the apron for a moment. Kent turns his back on Adamson as he slowly and ominously raises his championship over his head once more as even more poison green fireworks erupt from the arena lighting up the sky. The Genesis G burns harder in the sky, overlooking the Tottenham Hotspur stadium before slowly dying out as the drones fade away. Kent enters the ring and shares a glance with Rex once more before heading to the corner. The riot police all promptly exit the ramp and aisle area as Numb slowly dies down. Kent looks at his 6WF championship, before begrudgingly passing it to the official. As Numb stops playing, Kent is motionless and emotionless as he just shoots daggers at Rex Adamson in the other corner, those ice cold blue eyes ready for war once more. The crowd then begin a chant.]
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
RJ: JJ Johnson vs Cassius Zhi, ReGenesis vs The Church of Hero, Hobo vs Nemesis….this bout is on that level, the top most tier of professional wrestling…..
JT: The main event of Born in Fire…..a story over a year in the making….
RJ: Last year at Born in Fire was the night Rex Adamson joined forces with Eddy Kent…..12 months later they stand across the ring from one another…..the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship on the line…
JT: The culmination of Rex Adamson’s meteoric rise in 6CWF…..but tonight he faces the Chosen One, The Final Boss, The leader of Genesis….Eddy Kent…
RJ: The record breaking champion….today is day 441 of Kent’s reign….that is practically unheard of….
JT: It is unheard of…in the history of both 6CW & 6WF there has never been a champion who has reigned this long….383 days for Joshua as 6CW Champion, 225 for Logan Kincade as 6WF Champion…..Vincent Costello comes closest at 400 days as EWF Champion…..that puts into perspective where Eddy Kent ranks….like him or loathe him, it is irrelevant, he is one of the best ever…..maybe the best ever…
RJ: He has the record to back it up…..but tonight he faces one hell of a challenge…..Rex Adamson, the Champ Slayer…..one defeat in eighteen months….the most dominant debutant we have ever seen….the winner of the 2024 Fight for the Right Tournament…..
JT: And he is cashing that “right” in here tonight….he earned this opportunity…..just listen to the noise in this building….this is something special…
RJ: It has been an historic night…..6CWF once again has proven that it stands head and shoulders above all others…..but we are not done….its main event time….big fight feel here in the Capital….
The referee walks between Rex and Kent, talking through his final instructions, before asking for the 6WF Championship belt. Kent looks extremely reluctant as he places it in the referee’s hands…
JT: Could that be the last time that Eddy Kent holds that title belt?
The crowd are making a raucous amount of noise as the official lifts the championship belt up into the air and then hands it to Allie Thompson, the timekeeper. Rex’s focus is solely on Kent and the world champion turns to face him now….
RJ: Two spectacular entrances for two phenomenal superstars but that is all done now….all the bravado is set aside because this is a fight now, pure and simple…..so much build, so much backstory, but it all comes down to tonight….
JT: We are all a part of history here tonight…..this is a main event for the ages….these are the matches you hope for and they only come around once in a generation…..
Kent is talking to Rex now as the challenger just glares back, his jaw locked out. Kent is pointing around the stadium and then out at the championship before finally he prods his finger at the chest of Rex Adamson…
Kent: It didn’t have to be like this….you were next in line for all of it…..but you spat it back in my face….so now you get nothing……now you’re going to the hospital with that piece of **** Jackson…
RJ: HERE WE GO!
Rex has heard enough and he stuns Kent with a huge right hand, drawing a massive roar from the crowd. Kent staggers but then fires back with a shot of his own and all of a sudden we have a firefight in the middle of the ring. Back and forth they go until Rex’s punches land quicker and harder….Kent is rocked by an overhand right to the temple and he falls back into the ropes as Rex grabs his wrist and whips him across the ring….Rex lowers his head on the comeback but Kent grabs him and delivers a facebuster across his knee (ala TrIple H)…..
JT: This is going to be intense from start to finish….WHAT A SHOT!
Rex staggers from the knee and Kent looks to nail him with a clothesline but he ducks it and runs the ropes before returning with a huge clothesline of his own, taking Kent off his feet. The crowd cheer as Rex pounds his chest and throws his arms up in the air…
RJ: The kid’s feeling it….tonight could be his night….
Kent looks angered and stunned as he gets back up to his feet. He demands a lockup now and Rex is more than happy to oblige. They jockey for position and then Rex roars and launches Kent backwards across the canvass…
*Crowd pop
JT: Rex Adamson is a genetic freak….
RJ: Eddy Kent knows full well….that’s why he tried to keep him onside for so long….
Kent’s eyes widen as he realises what has just happened to him. He gets back up and they tie up once more. This time Kent applies a side headlock and grins as he puts on more pressure and really yanks at the head….
*Crowd pop again
JT: Kent is no match for Rex’s power…
Rex just lifts Kent off the mat this time and throws him across the canvass, causing him to land hard on his spine. Rex turns to the crowd now and he motions a belt around his waist…
RJ: The fans are loving this….this is what they came to see…
JT: They didn’t get Acer earlier but they like their chances with Rex….
Kent stands again, slapping the referee’s hand away as he tries to check on him, and he snarls at Rex to lockup with him for a third time. Rex nods and they move into position but Kent draws back and then fires his boot up toward Rex’s midsection….
RJ: He knew, Eddy….he’s been with you for the last year, he knows your tricks…
Rex catches Kent’s foot, causing him to bob on the spot, and then he throws him backward into the turnbuckle and crunches into him with a huge clothesline. Rex turns to the side and drives three destructive elbows into Kent’s jaw before dragging him out into a huge overhead release suplex….
JT: Rex Adamson has hit full throttle here in a matter of minutes….
RJ: Not what Eddy Kent would have wanted, not at all….
JT: This could become embarrassing for Kent….he cannot get a look in….
RJ: I think now we know why he was so reluctant to face Rex….
Kent clutches at his back as he stumbles back up and Rex draws him in to a release wrist clutch suplex. The world champion is all at sea as he rises for the third time and is launched across the ring by a release German suplex….
JT: I’m not sure I have ever seen Eddy Kent dominated in this fashion….
RJ: Has the occasion got to him? Or is Rex Adamson simple too good?
JT: Rex isn’t hanging around here….he’s ready to finish this, I cannot believe it…
The 62k inside the stadium are on their feet as Rex circles now and crouches down in the corner. Kent is holding his back and trying to stand up, sucking in deep breaths, before he turns straight into Rex’s path….
RJ: GORE!
Kent sidesteps at the final second and he sends Rex through the ropes and smashing into the ringpost. The fans look concerned for Rex’s welfare as the champion grabs the back of his singlet and rolls him up…
1.
……2
……………..shoulder up!
JT: Rex kicked out but Eddy Kent has opened himself an avenue here….
RJ: And that’s why he has reigned so long….Kent knows how to navigate danger…
JT: The main event of Born in Fire…..a story over a year in the making….
RJ: Last year at Born in Fire was the night Rex Adamson joined forces with Eddy Kent…..12 months later they stand across the ring from one another…..the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship on the line…

JT: Rex kicked out but Eddy Kent has opened himself an avenue here….
RJ: And that’s why he has reigned so long….Kent knows how to navigate danger…

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
Kent drags Rex’s arm out to the side and he stomps on the shoulder joint and then on the back of his elbow. Rex rolls over on his back and tries to kick out in an attempt to keep Kent at bay but the champion lashes a boot against the side of Rex’s leg and then moves in to stomp at his chest and body…..the referee tries to intervene and warn Kent but he is shrugged off as he continues his onslaught…..Kent drags Rex away from the ropes now and he delivers an elbow drop, then a second….and a third….he rises and lands a leaping knee to the head, and a second…..then a third….
JT: Eddy Kent is showing his vicious streak now….every shot is laced with what he believes is Rex Adamson’ betrayal…
RJ: We have seen over the last month just how dangerous Eddy Kent can be….
Rex has rolled into a ball but Kent doesn’t care and he drives the sole of his boot down onto the back of the challenger and continues to stomp at the spine and the back of the neck until Rex rolls toward the ropes in an attempt to find salvation. The challenger drops from the ring but Kent follows him and slams Rex’s head off the ringside barrier before lifting him up and drops him (ribs first) across the railing. Rex is in a lot of pain now as Kent grabs his wrist and sends him crashing through the steel steps….
JT: This is a far cry from the unbelievable start that Rex Adamson made….
RJ: One mistake, perhaps got a little overzealous, and Eddy Kent has pounced….this is domination now…..Rex Adamson has never faced this kind of threat before….
Kent pushes the top half of the steps away and then he grabs Rex’s head and slams it down off the bottom tier. Rex remains slumped there as Kent presses his boot into the side of Rex’s head and crushes it against the side of the ring…..the referee is trying to get Kent to relent but his eyes are laser focused….
JT: This is extremely personal for Eddy Kent….he believes he gave everything to Rex Adamson…
RJ: He has a very biased outlook…..no doubt he helped Rex but he was also holding him back, he knows how much of a threat Rex is….
Kent finally releases and he walks around the ringside, glaring at the fans, before grabbing the 6WF Championship belt. He points to himself as he raises it in the air and then he walks back to Rex and crouches down…
Kent: This belongs to me….it is mine…..and it will always be mine….do you understand?
JT: Kent should concentrate on keeping Rex down instead of running his mouth….
Kent walks away now and puts the belt back but then he turns around and Rex thunders into him, tackling him up and across the announce tables….
*Crowd cheer
RJ: You were right, Jeff…..Kent’s words gave Rex some impetus…
JT: Very naïve from the champion….
We see Rex on top of Kent behind the “Social Media” desk and he is thundering down with punches and forearms before he stands back up. The referee is talking with Rex and urging him to get the action back inside the ring….
JT: The referee being extremely lenient with the count here….
RJ: Top work in my book….this is the main event of Born in Fire, 6WF World Championship….
JT: But he can only let them away with so much….
Rex grabs Kent now and drags him up before launching him back into the ring. He leaps up onto the apron and he waits for the champion to get to his feet before he slingshots himself over the top and knocks him down with a heavy shoulder tackle. He wills Kent back and scoops him onto his shoulders…
RJ: Powerslam?
Kent kicks his legs and drops behind before shoving Rex into the corner. Rex, however, hits the turnbuckle and roars back out with a flying crossbody takedown, drawing more cheers from the fans. He drags Kent back to his feet now….
JT: JACKHAMMER!
RJ: He got every ounce of that….
The ring shakes from the impact and Rex makes the cover……………………1…………………….2………..Kent gets his shoulder up in time!
JT: First time Rex has gone in search of the pinfall…..
RJ: Every move he hits is packed with so much impact that I don’t blame him….he could end this match with so many of his attacks…
Rex grabs Kent by the head and he rags him up into position for a powerbomb but Kent drops out front and nails a stiff European uppercut. He lashes chops now at the chest of Rex, reddening the skin, and then looks to whip him across the ring but Rex is too powerful and is able to reverse….
JT: POP-UP SAMOAN!
The crowd cheer as Rex pops the champion up and drills him with the Samoan drop as he comes back down. The challenger heads for the corner now and he clambers up top before walking along the ropes to the middle and leaps into a splash…………………..1………………….2………….Kent kicks out again!
RJ: We have talked about it before but Rex Adamson’s physical ability is quite unlike anything we have ever seen before….he’s a 300lb kid who moves like a lightweight…..
JT: And that’s why he is at the stage he is at so early in his career….
Rex reaches down again to grab Kent but is poked in the eye for his troubles. Kent gets up now and he runs off the ropes before lashing a heavy “northern” lariat to the back of Rex’s neck. He drives more punches down into the back of the neck now before he backs up in the corner and lifts himself onto the second rope before coming off with a kneedrop across the back of the neck once more…
RJ: Kent’s looking to soften that neck up.....could have the “Kentlock” in mind….
JT: Kent would love to put Rex to sleep here tonight at Born in Fire….
Kent rises and he stomps down on Rex some more before seizing him by the head. He drags him up now and places his head between his legs….
RJ: Kent wants that piledriver here…..he’ll look to almost spike it himself….
JT: He really wants to do damage to the neck….that is becoming quite evident….
Kent tries on three separate occasions to lift Rex for the piledriver but he kicks his legs and fights it each time. He then swipes Kent’s legs from under him and drops back before catapulting him to the corner. Kent’s head slams into the turnbuckle and he stumbles backward as Rex rises and lifts him into an electric chair position…
RJ: NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NECK SO FAR!
JT: CROYT’S WRATH!
Rex circles the ring with Kent on his shoulders and then he drops him backward and catches him into the devastating bridged German suplex…
1.
….2
……….thr-kickout!
RJ: That is as close as we have come so far….
JT: Closer than Eddy Kent would like, that is for sure…
Rex is immediately back up on his feet and he hooks both of Kent’s arms to drag him into position but Kent drops back to his knees. Rex clubs the champion across the back and pulls him back up but Kent shoves him away….
RJ: Referee missed it…
Rex almost turns into the referee but he manages to block the impact, only to block the referee’s view as Kent lands a low blow. The world champion gets back to his feet now and he drills Rex right on his head with a spiked DDT……………….1…………………2……………..shoulder up!
JT: Kent’s attacks are targeting the neck of Rex…..
RJ: Which will have a real impact on Rex’s strength….
Kent stands, Rex near the ropes, and he stomps down on the neck repeatedly until the referee’s intervention. Rex rolls out on the apron and Kent reaches over the ropes now to drag him up…..Kent looks for a suplex back into the ring but Rex battles and keeps his feet…
JT: REX HASN’T LOST HIS STRENGTH YET!
JT: Eddy Kent is showing his vicious streak now….every shot is laced with what he believes is Rex Adamson’ betrayal…

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
Rex holds firm and then he lifts Kent into a suplex position of his own before he drops off the apron and slams them both down in the aisleway…
RJ: What an incredible risk….
JT: 6WF World Heavyweight Championship on the line….I’d say this is the time for risks….
Kent is writhing in pain, clutching at his spine, as Rex crawls back onto his knees. The audience are applauding as Adamson gets to his feet now and he grabs Kent before launching him back into the ring. Kent rolls across the canvass toward the middle as Rex heads up top…
RJ: Rex is gonna fly…..LO DOWN!
Kent drives his knees up and drills them into the midsection of Rex as he comes crashing down on top. Rex rolls away, clutching at his ribcage, as Kent rises and lashes a furious kick into his spine…..Kent rakes his boot into the face of Rex and then decides he is going to head for the corner….
JT: Not often we see Eddy Kent take this kind of risk….
RJ: He knows the threat he is facing….
Rex is already up and he runs to the corner and leaps into the air, crashing a forearm into the side of Kent’s head, sitting him down on the turnbuckle. Rex climbs up now and he pulls Kent into a front facelock….
JT: The challenger looks likes he wants some high impact now…..
RJ: Not if Kent can prevent it….
Kent fires furious piston punches into the body of Rex, causing him to gasp, and then he slings Rex’s arm over his shoulders and scoops him up…..
JT: WHAT A MOVE!
The crowd have to applaud as Kent gets Rex up on his shoulders and then launches himself off the ropes with a rolling fireman’s slam (ala Mr Kennedy). Kent stumbles back up to his feet and immediately heads to the opposite corner and climbs up…
RJ: Rex could be looking down the barrel all of a sudden………….KENT BOMB!
JT: Another successful title defence?

………..3!
JT: HE KICKED OUT….REX FIGHTS ON!
Kent’s eyes widen and he glares at the referee as Rex thrusts his arm up off the mat in time to beat the count. The champion clambers on top of Rex now and begins to fire away with closed right fists to the face….
RJ: Kent’s frustration bubbling to the surface now…
JT: That is one of the biggest moves in his arsenal….but the champion has many more to utilise….
Kent rises now and gets in the referee’s face. They argue before Kent sneers at the official and turns away, putting his focus back on Rex. The challenger is slow to rise and he walks straight into the waiting arms of the world champ….
RJ: MIC CHECK!
Rex slams repeated elbows into the side of Kent’s head to break his grip. Kent comes back around and Rex tries to pop him up and catch him on his shoulders but Kent drops over the shoulder and nails an inverted headlock backbreaker into a swinging neckbreaker…..he gets back to his feet now and points into the sky where “G” was shining earlier and he backs up into the corner….he froths at the mouth as he waits for Rex to stand up and then he darts toward him….
JT: GENESIS KICK!
Rex ducks the blow at the very last second and then he shows athleticism to spring onto the ropes and twists back into a crossbody takedown. He quickly drags Kent back up and whips him off the ropes before showing tremendous power to tilt-a-whirl him up onto his shoulders and he launches him backward into the turnbuckle with a powerbomb. Rex charges in and splatters Kent with a splash (dropping him to a seated position)……he circles and runs back in now with a crunching hip attack to the head (ala Umaga)…..Kent’s head is lolling on the ropes…
RJ: This is a devastating assault….OH MY!
Rex is far from done and he gives a signal to the crowd and they cheer. He laps the ring and then runs back in with a flying cannonball splash (ala Kevin Owens) which crushes Kent against the bottom turnbuckle again. The world champion rolls out now and is flat on his back as Rex gets up again and he charges into the corner, using the top rope to nail an inverted imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger)….
JT: That was sensational…
Crowd: ONE……………….TWO………………THR-OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
RJ: Kent survives….barely but he survives…
JT: 441 days as champion…..he wants to make it to 442 so he’s going to fight with everything he has….
RJ: In the last eighteen months; Rex Adamson has always found a way…..but this is the one man on the roster who he has never defeated, can he do it?
JT: Rex calls himself the “Champ Slayer” due to his incredible record against former champions….but this is the current champion, probably the greatest champion of all time….
Rex sucks his teeth and wipes sweat from his brow as he gets to a knee and the referee indicates to him that it was a two. Rex gets up now and he paces back and forth, looking for his next move, and then he marches to the corner and drops to a knee…
RJ: Rex learned this one from his Uncle Max…..the man whom Eddy Kent retired at Night of Glory….this would be a hell of a way to gain retribution….
JT: For Jackson Jackson too……………….GORE!
Eddy Kent, getting up in the corner, has ripped the padding off the middle turnbuckle (unbeknownst to anyone) and he throws himself out of the way of the spear as Rex smashes face-first into the exposed steel. Kent beckons Rex back around now and he scoops Rex on his shoulders….
RJ: Surely he won’t?
JT: CYCLONE….HE DID!
Kent smirks at the camera and draws a G with his finger before launching Rex into the F-5. Rex’s head smashes into the canvass and the champion rolls him over…

RJ: NO WAY WAS REX LOSING TO THAT MOVE….THE AUDACITY OF THE CHAMPION!
JT: Eddy Kent intended to send a very loud and clear message there but it did not payoff for him….
Kent shrieks and pounds the mat as the official holds up two. Kent gets up again now and he picks Rex’s face off the mat and he slaps him…
Kent: You can’t beat me, Rex….nobody can…..your resistance is futile…..stay down!
RJ: I don’t know if Eddy Kent is trying to convince himself or Rex…
Kent backs against the turnbuckle again and he turns to the crowd and tells them to “shut the f*** up” before urging Rex to stand. He then launches himself forward…
JT: GENESIS…

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
The cheers rip through the night air as Rex runs under the brogue kick and them almost tears Kent in half with the spear as he comes back off the ropes……………………1……………………..2……………………3!
JT: WE’VE GOT A NEW….NO!
RJ: HE GOT THE SHOULDER UP….EDDY KENT’S REIGN GOES ON!
It is Rex’s turn to look stunned as the referee is clear that Kent did kick out and the match must continue. Rex looks out at the sea of fans and nods his head…
JT: Rex knew it would be no easy feat to dethrone Eddy Kent….
RJ: Nobody has yet managed it….Beachfront Brawl 2023 was the night Kent left the Elimination Chamber as 6WF Champion….since then he has taken care of all challengers…
Rex drags Kent up again now but Kent drives at his stomach with hard right hands until Rex releases. Kent grabs Rex’s head now and drops into a jawbreaker that sends him back into the corner and then he runs in and lands with a splash….
JT: Rex caught him….
Rex catches Kent in his arms and he walks him out toward the centre of the ring but then Kent gets his hand up and rakes at the challenger’s eyes. Rex is momentarily blinded as Kent leaps at him….
RJ: FLATLINE…
JT: Tried to use Lex Hart’s finisher….remember Eddy Kent ripped control of Genesis from Hart…that’s how this story really began….
Rex blocks the RKO and he shoves Kent into the ropes. Kent comes back and dodges a right hand before sprinting off the opposite side and he leaps into the air for a high knee strike (ala Triple H) but Rex catches him in his arms and then spins into an incredible “Tour of the Islands” slam (ala Jeff Cobb)….
RJ: That may seal the deal….
1
..
….2
..
..
………….3!
JT: Kent will not relinquish his hold on that championship…..
RJ: I genuinely believe it has become one with Kent….he feels like its part of him…
JT: Calm down, Voldemort….it’s hardly a Horcrux….
RJ: That reference alone does more damage to your standing than mine, Jeff….
Rex doesn’t allow himself to get flustered and instead he rises up and heads for the corner. Kent is down on the mat as Rex gets himself on high….
JT: The champ will do whatever he has to…
Kent grabs the referee and pushes him back into the ropes which causes Rex to lose his footing and fall into a crotched position on the turnbuckle. The crowd boo but it allows Kent to climb now and he delivers right hand after right hand to Rex before pulling him into a front facelock….
RJ: Kent wants the superplex….at this stage of the match it could cause real issues to Rex Adamson’s challenge….
JT: Which is why he is working so hard to prevent it….
Rex is refusing to budge and then he grabs the side of Kent’s head and delivers a solid headbutt. Kent slumps from the shot and it allows Rex to readjust his feet and he lifts Kent into a suplex position and steps forward….
RJ: ISLAND DRIVER!
Rex leaps off the top and he drills Kent with the devastating suplex variation (ala Kevin Owens). The world champion is lifeless on the canvass as Rex drags himself over and drops his arm…
1.

..
…………kickout!
JT: This match has already gone twenty minutes and you can see the toll it has taken on both men….they have hit one another with the proverbial kitchen sink…
RJ: It has lived up to and surpassed all hype in my opinion….this is truly tremendous stuff….
The crowd are chanting for Rex as he gets back onto a vertical base. He breathes in their support and then he grabs Kent by the head and pulls him up before slinging him over his shoulders…
JT: He wants it….
RJ: Not a single man has ever kicked out of it…..FIRE/THUNDER DRIVER!
Kent elbows at the jaw of Rex over and over until he is able to drop off. Rex turns around and Kent grabs hold of him….
JT: MIC CHECK!
Rex takes his turn now to elbow his way free of Kent’s grip and he drops him with a running clothesline. Kent gets up and eats a second clothesline before Rex delivers a scooped slam on the third time round. Rex staggers to the ropes now and he climbs out onto the apron and waits for Kent to get up before he springboards back in…
RJ: CAUGHT HIM….MIC CHECK!
Rex flies in and he seems to have a flying lariat in mind but Kent catches him on the way down and immediately drills him with the finisher….

JT: This is quite astonishing now…
“There’s only one Rex Adamson” is ringing around the Tottenham Stadium and Eddy Kent has his head in his hands. He rolls from the ring now and grabs the 6WF belt and heads back for the ring….
RJ: Kent doesn’t believe in himself anymore, he’s going to get himself DQ’d…
JT: Not if the referee can help it…
The ref jumps in front of Rex and waves his arms at Kent, urging him to rethink. Kent yells at the referee to move and he gears up to swing the belt, grabbing the referee’s jersey and slings him out of the way….he wills Rex up and then launches the gold at his head….
JT: Missed…..RAINMAKER!
Rex ducks the belt shot and he ripcords Kent around for the giant lariat but Kent ducks again and he drives a thunderous boot into the solar plexus of the challenger…
RJ: PEDIGREE!

Re: 6CWF Presents Born in Fire XII - Results
The audience are stunned as Kent drills Rex on his head (old school style pedigree) and rolls him over….he throws a finger up each time the referee counts…

…………3!
JT: Still not enough…
RJ: The Adamson Cabal will be getting blamed for this…
Kent backs the referee up in the corner and looks as though he wants to throttle him. Rex is having issues getting his feet underneath him…
JT: Kent needs to keep his focus on Rex and Rex only….that’s his opponent…forget all the wining and complaining….
RJ: MIC CHE…
Kent pulls Rex into position once more but Rex shifts his foot backward and then drives a knee up into the midsection of Kent. He drives home with three more knees and then he whips Kent into the corner….Kent slams into the turnbuckle and he walks back out as Rex bench presses him into the air…
JT: That is a 19 year old kid….that strength is God-like….
Rex parades Kent around the ring and then he drops & catches him with a spear/spinebuster (ala Goldberg). The cheers travel up the tiers as Rex heads for the corner now and he goes high before launching himself halfway across the ring with the “Lo Down” frogsplash…
1.
….2
……….3!
RJ: NEW CHAMP…
Eddy Kent is just able to reach out and grab the bottom rope before the count can be made. Rex sighs and looks frustrated at his own mistake. He clambers up as Kent rolls from the ring now…
JT: The world champion looking to take a breather…
RJ: He needs something to stop this onslaught….
Rex climbs up the turnbuckle now and he wows the crowd as he walks along the ropes and then just launches himself into an incredible senton takedown..
*Crowd groan
RJ: REX ADAMSON MAY HAVE JUST LEAPT TO HIS OWN DEMISE….
Eddy Kent moves at the final second as Rex slams onto the arena floor. The landing is horrific and Rex is in big trouble as Kent drags him up and slings him back in the ring. Kent pulls himself onto the apron now and he heads straight up the ropes…
JT: KENT BOMB!
RJ: That has to be all…
Kent lands the senton bomb for the second time in the contest……………………1……………………..2……………kickout!
JT: This kid is a gladiator…
RJ: KENTLOCK!
Kent gets up and he looks as though he is going to strike the ref but instead he swivels and leaps into Rex (who is trying to get to his knees) and he legvines around his body as he applies the guillotine choke…
JT: Kent’s targeted the neck all night….he’s taken Rex into the deepest waters he has ever been…
RJ: And now he’s going to drown him…
It is clear from the looks on the faces of the fans that they believe Rex’s race is run. Kent is leaning right back onto the canvass, his legs locked tight, and he increases his grip around the head and neck of the challenger….the referee is trying to communicate with Rex but is getting little back in return….
JT: Eddy Kent won the world title with this hold….
RJ: And he’s put Rex out….the kid ain’t moving…..Eddy Kent has cemented his place as the greatest here tonight….
The referee tries again to talk with Rex but there is no response. Kent is shrieking at the ref now to “ring the f***ing bell”…..the official looks contemplative and then decides to grab the wrist of the Rex and raise his arm….
JT: The referee is giving Rex a fighting chance here but I think it might be a futile effort…
RJ: I agree….Rex is out here…
The arm drops twice and Kent laughs as he tightens his grip again and leans as far back as he possibly can. The official raises Rex’s arm for the third time and looks toward the timekeeper…
JT: We all know the drill here….the arm drops, Kent retains…
RJ: THIS KID HAS GOT THE GUTS OF A LION!
Rex’s hand looks set to hit the canvass but then it shoots up into the air at the final second. The crowd roar but Kent is shaking his head and trying to extend the pressure on the submission. The young challenger pushes his hands into the canvass now and does everything he can to try and get a knee underneath him….
JT: This is a star-making performance tonight from Rex Adamson….I’m not saying anyone doubted him before but he has blown right through the proverbial glass ceiling….
Rex is on his haunches now and from the squatted position he pushes himself upward and drives Kent back into the turnbuckle. Kent holds firm with the hold and will not relinquish it so Rex is forced to stagger around and drive him into the second turnbuckle…..then the third…
RJ: This is insane….
Kent still won’t let go so Rex roars and charges at the fourth and final turnbuckle, crushing the champion against it. Kent finally releases as Rex staggers away, holding his neck…..he sucks in a deep breath and then turns back around…
JT: GENESIS KICK….HE TURNED RIGHT INTO IT!
The brogue kick lands flush on the jaw of Rex as he turns around but the impact sends him through the ropes and crashing to the outside. Eddy Kent lets out a howl of dismay but then turns to the referee and orders him to count….
RJ: Kent wanted to pin Rex but in reality he just wants the win….he’ll take it any which way….
JT: And he might just get it….that “Genesis Kick” was devastating and it comes off the back of the “Kent Bomb” and the “Kentlock”….I’m not sure ten seconds is long enough for Rex to get back in the ring…
The referee starts to count and the crowd boo at the prospect of the main event ending in this fashion….

RJ: This may turn into the most anticlimactic end to a Born in Fire event….but Eddy Kent won’t give a damn….

………………Rex just throws himself under the bottom rope in time and the crowd go wild.
RJ: The kid is as tough as they come…
JT: But he may only be extending his punishment…
Kent pushes the referee away as he closes in on Rex and stomps all over him. He grabs Rex and drags him toward the centre now and looks to lock his arms around the neck once again….
JT: KENT….
Rex lets out a shout as he lifts Kent off the floor and then just throws him across the ring, blocking the guillotine choke. Rex staggers back into the corner and he beckons Kent to get up and just sprints across at him…
RJ: GORE!
Kent moves and the referee takes the hit. Kent makes a grab for the 6WF Championship belt (still on the canvass) and he waits for Rex to turn around before hitting him square in the face with it…
JT: No ref, Eddy…
Kent grabs the official and drags him over, using his arm to make the count…
RJ: This can’t count…

JT: Even when Eddy Kent cheats it isn’t enough tonight…
Kent screams in fury and then signals toward the back. The boos grow louder now as Ralph Santos comes sprinting down the ramp…
RJ: He doesn’t work here…..this can’t be allowed….
JT: Genesis taking over, RJ….they’re doing what they want….
Santos is in his referee’s jersey and he dives into the ring as Eddy Kent drags Rex up and he piledrives him on top of the championship belt …

Rex is unaware that Michael Sweetwater is at ringside and he passes a sledgehammer to the world champion….Rex sprints forward and dives through the air for the spear but Kent sidesteps and nails the challenger in the side of the head with the hammer (ala Triple H/Goldberg at Summerslam ’03)…..
JT: Rex is out….they’ve robbed him…

MANY HOURS AFTER BORN IN FIRE
*Backstage we re-enter the locker-room where Logan Kincade was shackled. The room remains dark but a shadow can be made out inside, standing in front of a floor length mirror. As we get closer we can see a figure, covered from head to toe in tribal tattoos. Eventually we get the clearest indication as to the identity of the man.
Damien Andrews: I am the Blue Dragon!
*He snarls into the mirror as he holds up his arm to reveal the "Blue Dragon" mark.
