606 Boxrec 'World' rankings...a Friday time-killer.
OK, here's the gist. It's a quieter day than usual here so here's the plan:
On Boxrec a boxer's url ID is displayed like this;
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=33535&cat=boxer
with the '33535' part being unique to the individual. Knowing this, take out those digits and replace them with your own birthday (date and month only). For example, my own would be:
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=2602&cat=boxer
which equates to one 'Linwood Jones'. Exactly.
Taking this format, what would the 606 all-time rankings look like?
---------------------------------------
Top ranking results so far: (in no particular order):
Mind the windows Tino: Genaro Hernandez (RIP)..won 38 (KO 17) + lost 2 (KO 2) + drawn 1
rowley: Manuel Medina....................................won 67 (KO 31) + lost 16 (KO 8) + drawn 1
Green Giant: Vinny Pazienza.............................won 50 (KO 30) + lost 10 (KO 3) + drawn 0
coxy: Salvador Sanchez..................................won 44 (KO 32) + lost 1 (KO 0) + drawn 1 (unverified )

Jeff you are.........Manuel Medina.
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=0503&cat=boxer
Sporting a record of:
won 67 (KO 31) + lost 16 (KO 8) + drawn 1 = 84
rounds boxed 611 KO% 36.9
As a featherweight though you may come unstuck against the heavyweight Linwood Jones..!

bellchees is Bruce Curry:
won 35 (KO 17) + lost 8 (KO 5) + drawn 0 = 43
rounds boxed 323 KO% 39.53
Look so far like coxy is the best prospect.
Windy; did you try just the date and month? I found with larger numbers it didn't work.

Yes, mate.
1st November ( All Saints day, by the way, appropriately enough, ) so that is 0111.
I believe that Type Mismatch was a pretty good fighter, though. Unbeaten, I believe.

If you add an 0 in front of the month it gives you a result. Mine didn't work without it either, being a fellow November birthdayer.

Arthur "king" Williams!
No-one mention it was at crusierweight and so doesn't count. I'm still taking it as a win.

I have no idea what Ronnie Yeo weighs but I'm will to bet they make him come in light.
He sounds so bad, I bet even KOTV wouldn't show a clip of one of his fights
