A shoulder to cry on Empty A shoulder to cry on

Post by polished_man Fri Jul 01, 2011 12:17 pm

This article has the sole purpose of offering to the numerous Murray's enthusiasts a place where to prepare themself in advance to the eventuality of deep emotional distress, that the typical overly optimistic attitude would only contribute to worsen.

It's a beautiful night for some tears.
Alone with the stars and the fears,
A pretty, young girl on the terrace below
Cries softly with me in the quarter-moon's glow.

I wondered, was she too betrayed
By a love she thought never would fade?
Did she want to be taken in caring embrace?
My heart went to her as I stood in his place.

She knew not her sorrow was shared;
Two souls hurt, were now secretly paired.
If she glimpsed me to see that I'd been crying too,
Would she long for my touch; heal the old with the new?

We remained apart, lost to ourselves.
Two more dreams gather dust on the shelves.
How many more tears fell with ours in the night?
No one to hold close; no way into the light.

Crying or Very sad Sad 🤦 Shocked

Oh Sorrow

(Poem by Nadim Lost Soul)

Oh sorrow, oh sorrow.
You have been with me all my life.
Even when I was happy, you were my guide.
Even trough my struggles and in my pride.
You followed me and you wouldn’t let me go.
Oh sorrow, you made me feel so alone.
You were there when I had agony and shame.
From my feet to up my brain.
Your are the only one who reached me clever.
From my love to my venom.
From day 1 to the heavenly gates.
Since birth till my death ending faith.
You will always be my everlasting soul mate.

Thank you for your companionship.

Gone

(Poem by Cyndi)

gone with the Winter
gone with the Spring
gone for tree season
gone, but soon back

Too late

(Poem by Yael)

Now I see
I am too late
Too late to ask
Someday
I will ask it again
Someday..
Someday it will happen

Tears, Idle Tears

(Poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson)

Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy Autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.

As I was going up the stairs
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I WISH that man would Go Away !!!!!!!!!

I understand and share the deep resentment expressed in your poem.

Surely the "man in the stair" was not a fellow poetry lover, i guess Whistle

Only a sad individual targets 1 SPECIFIC player to pour scorn
onto to polished _man !

Is that why all your poetry is about tears ?

🤦
Yummy: grow up, if that was to pour scorn I would do that for Nadal as I can stand the guy. Actually this poetry aim to be cathartic as I said in the article and it's not mine.
