July 16th Card, Liverpool
Putting all the haye business aside for a while, there looks to be a cracking little card on in Liverpool on July 16th. Ricky Burns defends his title against Nicky Cook, the undercard of which will be the rescheduled Murray v Mitchell bout, plus Bellew v McKenzie and Frankie Gavin gets an outing against Curtis Woodhouse. Should make for an entertaining nights viewing, what are your thoughts on the fights?

Not a bad card at all, methinks. All fairly good and competitive match ups given the respective position of each fighter, and I think one or two of those match ups will give us a pretty good fight to watch.
Burns to outscore Cook, Mitchell to outscore Murray, Bellew to take McKenzie out early and Gavin to outscore Woodhouse would be my take on it.

Mitchell vs Murray on???????..If it is great I'm really looking forward to that...I like Murray think he's top draw.
Don't rate Bellew but I think he wins easy..
Burns pts....
Gavin stoppage..
Murray decision..

Mitchell Murray was supposed to be on this Saturday Truss, but it was postponed for a week due to Mitchell missing training because of a viral infection. Whether that's true or not is anyones guess - maybe Mitchell had been slacking or maybe tickets for the London bout weren't selling well, who knows, but it should be a good fight on a decent card.

Great domestic bust up sweetie.......
Prefer the Groves-degale, Mitch-Murr type clashes to WBO garbage if I'm honest.

Not sure mate, as I said Mitchell Murray was supposed to be this weekend but it's been bumped onto the following weekends card.

Got my tickets and am looking forward to it.
Bellew needs to look good, to make the most of his recent rise in the publics thoughts thanks to his spat with Clev.
I think Gavin also needs to up his game, realise he had a virus last time out, but time to kick on a little bit.
Agree with Truss, I love the domestic title scraps with a bit of bite to them, Degale v Groves blew the recent heavyweight plod fest out the water, and having Murray/Mitchell on, makes this a superb card.
