Should Nadal try a different racquet?
Since Novak changed his racquet at the AO this year, his results have been incredible, infact of his 5 meetings with Nadal this year only 1 match was a really close finish with the other 4 being comfortable victories.
Maybe it's time for Rafa to stop using the Babolat when playing Djokovic?
All the coaching in the world may not change the outcome of a match with his new nemesis if he can't hit the ball flat.

Re: Should Nadal try a different racquet?
Stories about Nole's racquet are hard to fathom. Many think he's basically gone back to his old racquet before he disasterously changed it a couple of seasons back.
Its not about flat hitting - that is not the be all and end all of tennis success. And even if it was, the racquet is not the key, the stroke itself is.
Nadal needs to clear his mind, focus on his game strategy and continue to be aggressive on court - sometimes he becomes too passive and stops hitting to the lines, hits mid-court too much and reduces his angles. In short, he plays too safe. I think we'll see a much more aggressive Nadal in future - with his current racquet (which he;ll never change).

Isn't it how he won 10 slams though? The problem is now someone else can do the running with him.
The problem for Rafa is that his tennis limitations are exposed like Federer exposed Hewitt's tennis in 2003/4. Can he hit the ball flatter without producing teh UEs associated with it? and more importantly, will he benfit for it cause that means he will send a ball players, including Federer, can deal will. The flatter he hits the more his opponents might like it!

Indeed. Federer will consider it Xmas if Nadal starts hitting the ball flat.
