Sweden 1-4 Serbia. No Soderling for the Swedes. Djokovic played doubles. Troicki and Tipsarevic won all their rubbers.

Argentina 5-0 Kazakhstan. Juan Monaco and Juan Ignacio Chela won all their rubbers. Juan Martin Del Potro won his rubber.

Germany 1-4 France. Gasquet in the first rubber came back from 2 sets down to win his rubber against Mayer. Petzschner won the only rubber for Germany.
