Furious League Tactic Submission Empty Re: Furious League Tactic Submission

Birmingham

-----------------------Viviano-----------------------
Lichtsteiner-----Bonucci------Agger-----------Monreal
---------------Rolfes-----------Vidal-----------------
Kalou------------------Augusto-----------------Nene
-----------------------Negredo----------------------

Subs:- McCarthy, Zanka, Capoue, Lens, King, Bahebeck, E.Torres

In goal Viviano, a big shot stopper whos height and build makes him fearless wether coming for high balls or going to ground to collect the ball. He will release it early to get the fast forward players away.

Defence:-
Bonucci and Agger are a solid pairing, a good balance with Agger being left footed. Agger will pick up the main striker and mark him tightly not allowing him time to turn, get on to him quickly and make him wary of his presence. Bonucci will sit spare and watch open spaces, intercept any through balls and watch out for any midfielder coming through unnoticed. The two will stick tight and not be allowed to be pulled apart. Lichtsteiner and Monreal are two different fullbacks. Licht loves roaming forward whilst Monreal sits tight. this always leaves 3 at the back, so while Licht goes forward Bonucci being spare can cover. Licht will support Kalou as much as he can to put pressure on the fullback. he will over lap or cut inside to make an extra man in midfield.Defending he will mark the winger and use his pace to stop any attacks from Blackburns winger. Monreal will sit while Licht goes, he will mark tight and force his winger out and really pressurise him into mistakes. He can get forward and support but rarely as Licht will be doing most of the attacking.

Midfield:-
Rolfes and Vidal are two that know each other very well. Rolfes is the main DM and he wathes the more attacking player from there mid. He sits just in front of the two CH's and doesnt get forward much, he is a great man marker and this will provide a huge wall for there playmaker to get past. Vidal is energetic and a tireless runner. Box to box he will defend with Rolfes as he picks up the 2nd midfielder from Blackburn, harray him and force him into quick, mistimed passes, he will also be a link between defence and attack, he will pick up from the defenders and get the ball moving forward as he starts the attacks. He also makes late unnoticed runs into the box to look for knockdowns or clear out to have a pop at goal.
Nene, Kalou and Augusto are a big threat to there defence, all can score and all very quick, skillfuull players. The two wingers will attack at the fullbacks and really go for them, wether it takes them outside to cross in or cut inside to have a go at goal, they will look to the centre of mid to pass to so this frees them up a bit to get passed the winger or into the box looking for a return ball. Augusto will play in the central attacking role, he looks to pick up the ball from behind and get forward to Negredo, he is a pivotal player and can set Nene and Kalou free with his vision, also through balls to Negredo to set his chances up. All 3 players will get back to a 5 man mid when defending
kalou-Augusto-Rolfes-Vidal-Nene

Negredo up front is a natural finisher, give him a chance and he will more than likely bury into the back of the net, he cant stay still and be allowed to be picked up so I want him to run the line of defence looking to get into areas of danger, look for support, he will always stay up top and with his pace he can easily out run the defence and be in on goal.

Captain - Vidal
Penalties - Negredo
freekicks - Augusto
Corners - Nene

Subs:-

Winning 70 Mins - Capoue > Augusto 4-5-1 defensive, he will go to the right of Rolfes in a 3 man CM

losing/drawing 70 Mins - Lens >Augusto Lens will move to the RW tand use his pace against a tiring FB, Kalou will move into the central role to provide suppot to Negredo

Winning 80 Mins - Lens > Nene - Kalou Left, Lens right, just to give more energy to the team

Losing/draing - 80 Mins E.Torres > Nene Kalou left, Torres up front 4-4-2, he will give them somthing to worry about

-----------McCarthy---------
Gunter-Bonucci-Agger-Aanholt
----------Isla----Vidal-------
------------Rosicky----------
Kalou-------------------Capel
-----------Wickham----------

goal keeper stays online nothing stupid, release wingers early
defence stay tight, Agger pick up striker, Gunter, V.Aanholt watch wingers, attack one at a time and support wingers
Isla & Vidal sit and stop midfield coming through, break down play, one stays one goes when attacking making late runs into box
Rosicky - Playmaker, picking out theforward runners sending Wickham through
Capel and kalou support Wickham as much as poss, take on the fbs and get crosswes in Wickham is there to win them
Wickham powerful and will go one on one with CH, set up play with knockdowns for midfield/wingers, shoot on sight

----------------Akinfeev
------------Marquez-----Bonnucci
---Srna--------------------------Capdevilla
-----------------Carrick
-------------Vidal---Cleverley
------Hazard-----------------Ben Arfa
-----------------Amauri

BENCH
Sorenson
Antonini
Baker
Josue
Cahill
Tosic
Macheda

TACTICS
We will try to match Bolton in the centre, they will play their usual 4-5-1 and we will also play with the same formation, cancelling them out. If they try to surprise us and play 4-4-2, then we will use our extra man in midfield to win that battle. Throughout the game, we should take care to keep possession.

DEFENSE
Srna and Capdevilla should both get forward, making the most of the space left behind from the wingers not tracking back. They should use their pace to match the wingers and force them out wide. Benayoun in particular lacks pace to get back and forward. Marquez is the experience at the back, he will be our leader, while Bonnucci deals with the striker (presumably Carroll) we will play with a highish line because we have confidence that we can catch their forwards offside.

MIDFIELD
Carrick should sit deep, this allows Cleverley and Vidal to drive forward. Carrick should keep Hamsik out of the game by occupying that space in front of the back four. Because Carrick is deep, this gives Vidal and Cleverley the space to get forward and have a good go. Van Bommel lacks pace and Lucho isn't the quickest. We will use our younger, fresher legs. Hazard and Ben Arfa should both get back and help defensively. But in the most part, they should be having a go at the full backs. Corluka in particular is slow so we should try to break past him.

ATTACK
Amauri has a height advantage over Escude so should constantly get in front of him to beat him aerially, go for knockdowns as there could be three/four midfielders driving forward. Amauri is a good finisher and should be the real poacher in front of goal.

SET PIECES
Left Corner - Vidal
Right Corner - Vidal
Free Kicks - Hazard
Penalties - Amauri

SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning then bring on Miguel and Antonini for Srna and Ben Arfa. This will improve us defensively on both wings. Antonini provides more defensive support and Miguel is better defensively than Srna.

If drawing then bring on Macheda and Cahill for Amauri and Cleverley. Move to a 4-4-1-1. Macheda is an excellent super-sub and provides pace to run at a tiring defense.

If losing then bring on Cahill, Macheda for Hazard and Ben Arfa. The full backs should bombard forward while we play with a 4-4-2 diamond.

Going to post here because not sure where else to post.

Fulham tactics vs Liverpool

--------------------------Schwarzer
-----Boyata------Gamberini---------Bocanegra------Flanagan
Gebhart-----Kuzmanovic------Flamini------Lucho-------Donavan
--------------------------Gignac

BENCH
Romero
Silva
Jansen
Sessengnon
Rodwell
Reyes
Bothroyd

TACTICS
We have a very difficult game this week against Liverpool, but we believe we can get something out of this, having earned a point as Aston Villa boss two weeks ago vs Liverpool.

We will get everyone behind the ball today and be very organised, our back four will be very strict and not break ranks. The men in front will be slightly less organised and pressure them into mistakes. We overall will be tight and hold a deepish line but try to occasionally break on the counter attack.

DEFENSE
Schwarzer should command the defense. We have two experienced centre halves who should hold the line. Both of our centre backs are tall and strong and should be able to win aerial battles against Torres. They should be physical. Nothing fancy from them today, just win possession and smash the ball upfield towards Gignac. Flanagan and Boyata are both young and full of energy, they should match their wingers for pace and force them down the line, the key is to prevent them cutting inside. The full backs should also try to get forward as much as possible, our midfielders can help out and cover in the full back positions when necessary.

MIDFIELD
Flamini should play in a deep role in front of the back four and be an annoyance to Gerrard (or whoever the attacking midfielder is - if they play 4-4-2 he will move slightly deeper as more protection to the back four) he should go in with tackles, but don't run from the position, he needs to be disciplined today. Lucho and Kusmanovic should play in box to box roles, they are hard working midfielders and have skill so should pop up all over the pitch. All three of our midfielders can pick out a pass, they should try long balls over the top to Gignac or out wide. Gebhart and Donavan are encouraged to cut inside, as the full backs will get forward to provide width. They should exploit the space between their full backs and centre backs and cause confusion, particularly if Liverpool adopt a man-marking system.

ATTACK
Gignac is a very talented played and is certainly capable of scoring goals. He should try to play on the shoulder of the last man ready for long balls over the top as Gallas and Mexes aren't the quickest. He has a height advantage on Gallas so should try to position himself there when the ball is crossed in. Gebhart and Donavan will be supporting him, so passing triangles are an option. Try to draw fouls from them as well as we feel we are strong from set pieces.

SET PIECES
Left Corner - Flamini
Right Corner - Kuzmanovic
Free Kicks - Gignac/Lucho
Penalties - Lucho

Bocanegra, Lucho, Gignac, Lucho, Kuzmanovic, Gebhart and Donavan are all six-footers so should attack set pieces, we think we have more height throughout our side and will get goals here.

SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning then bring on Rodwell and Reyes for Kuzmanovic/Lucho and Gebhart. Donavan moves to the right and Reyes left, Rodwell is extra cover to our defense to help us hold onto the win.

If drawing then bring on Reyes and Jansen for Gebhart and Flanagan. Jansen will attack more down the left wing, enabling Reyes to constantly move centrally like a support striker. Try to push on for the win.

If losing then bring on Reyes for Kuzmanovic, move to a 4-4-2. Sessengnon should come on for Flamini later on if we're still drawing to freshen up the midfield and add more creativity.

Liverpool Tactics

Starting Team and Formation

------------------ Given -------------------
--------------------------------------------
Friedrich --- Gallas ----- Mexes ----- Criscito
--------------------------------------------
---------- De Rossi ---- L. Diarra -----------
--------------------------------------------
J Navas ------- Gerrard (c) ------- Albrighton
--------------------------------------------
---------------- F. Torres ------------------

Subs:

GK Nicolas Douchez
CB Cristian Zapata
CM Marek Hamsik
AM Dimitri Payet
WG Magaye Gueye (U21)
FW Gabriel Agbonlahor
ST Papiss Demba Cisse

General Tactics

This is my first game in charge. I encourage you all to read my full tactics to get a flavour of the way Liverpool will be playing this coming season.

I've released the shackles from the players and told them to go and express themselves and impress me. No player is guaranteed their position under my reign, so everyone will have to perform well today.

We'll be strong and competitive at the back, with Lassana and De Rossi forming the foundation to play from in midfield. We'll use the pace on the wings to get around the back of Fulham and create space for our finishers.

This is a big game for us. I have asked for to see creative, expressive football but this shouldn't be at the expense of the result. The two should go hand in hand - good football leads to good results. The three points is what I'm after today.

Player roles

Goalkeeper: As an experienced goalkeeper Given provides some much needed confidence and stability at the back. Given should be strong in his area, commanding crosses and corners. He will also provide leadership from the back, dictating the defence as he wants. In Shay we have one of the best shot stoppers in the game, so if he was to come into a one on one situation, we are confident of his abilities.

Full Backs: Initially Friedrich and Criscito will play defensively and see what Fulham are about. They will look to feed the wingers and let them go forward. After the game opens up a bit, they will be given a licence to go forward and overlap the wingers to create some space down the flanks.

Centre Backs: The emphasis will be on strength and organisation for Gallas and Mexes today. Constant communication will enable them to wipe out any attacking threats from the opposition early. Both are fantastic athletes and will be able to keep this up for the game.

Centre Midfielders: The two in the middle complement each other brilliantly. Lassana can play the holding role and gobble up balls like a hungry hippo. De Rossi is the link man that brings the defence and attack together. Hamsik is a key man who adds real impact from the bench, and will be key today.

Wingers: The wingers offer pace, skill and flair. They've been encouraged to take people on and get involved at every opportunity. Steven will often be looking for support out wide and they need to offer themselves. Jesus Navas is a world beater and has the ability to perform miracles on the pitch(!) It is important also to remember their defensive duties - they need to work hard and get back to help out. We have a number of wing options on the bench so Jesus and Marc need to work hard.

Attacking Midfielder: Gerrard, the heartbeat of Liverpool and Anfield. With him we are something different, he offers so much inspiration and leadership. His partnership with Fernando is as good as any, and he offers a sublime attacking threat, driving into the box from midfield. He is also a workhorse, and will get back to make tackles and protect his side.

Striker: Fernando is a world class striker who, with the right service, will put opportunities away. He's been told there's no pressure on him and to play the way everyone knows he can. I believe he'll show the world how good he is still.

Set Pieces

Penalties: Taken by Gerrard - the definition of cool under pressure.

Free kicks: Taken by Gerrard or De Rossi if direct, Navas if out on the wings.

Corners: Taken by Gerrard or Navas, centre backs to come up and threaten in the box. Full backs to stay back with Lass.

Plans

If winning after an hour: Keep going for ten minutes an pile the pressure on. Then calm it down, but don't get lazy. Bring on Agbonlahor for Albrighton, adding pace down the wings and pinning Fulham back. Hamsik to come on for De Rossi and work his socks off, becoming a box to box midfielder. Zapata on for Mexes or Gallas, whoever is blowing. He adds real experience and focus at the back.

If losing after an hour: Bring on Agbonlahor for Lassana straight away and switch to 4-4-2. Move Gerrard back a peg to become the link man between De Rossi and the forwards. Gueye to come on after 75 mins for one of the wingers and look to take on players and create service for the forwards. Zapata can be used to cover any of the back four due to his versatility.

COME ON YOU REDS!
