Jonathan Woodgate signs for Stoke City!

If it's a pay as you play deal it may be good business for Stoke as Woodgate is a top defender, just unfortunate with injuries.

Seems it will be on a pay as you play deal, seems a pretty sound investment by Stoke IMO.

could be potentially a very good deal for stoke but i do feel he'll keep struggling with injuries and may have retired by end of next season.

Seems some players are just prone to injury, and I think it's likely that he won't get too much game time this season. It's a shame, he is one classy defender, just like Ledley King.

He won't even make more than 45 minutes until the injury flares up again....sometimes you just have to accept it is better to retire and try something else.
