Small changes and use of oldies on the horizon at the AB clinic...
Henrys a point about the wealth of experience of the 1999, 2003 and you can probably add the 2007 winning teams.

One things for sure. This years ABs wont lack for experience, and age may be a factor for a couple.
Not a lot new here. Just going to rely on good old tough hard work.

good article
great quotes
"Nothing geriatric about the way Martin Johnson and his troops went about their business, and Woodward kept faith in his aging core of battle scarred ‘white orcs on steroids’ (another hardly flattering terminology) who had served him well in the years building up to the Cup.
To put the value of experience into perspective, Brian Ashton took what was aptly named ‘Dad’s Army Mark II’ to the 2007 World Cup, naming three 35-year-olds (Mike Catt, Lawrence Dallaglio and Mark Regan), another 11 players 30 years or older and only three players under 25."

Well then, the SA team doesn't look so old anymore.

I hope Henry is bearing in mind how his comparatively youthful, dynamic, fit and in areas very inexperienced AB side did to a massively experienced Lions team in 2005...i.e. ran them off the park and made them look a bunch of geriatric talentless has-beens.

Great signing for Bayonne though. Like Howlett at Munster
