Weekwnd's Football Predictions
Qualifiers
Limerick V Waterford- Limerick by 6
Meath V Kildare- The lilywhites have an excellent record in the qualifiers having not been beaten for three years and have been impressive this year. Meath will be hungry to avenge their LSFC defeat but I feel Kildare will edge this one. Hoping that Kildare continue having accuracy problems but we've still got a couple of injury uncertainties. Kildare by 4
Antrim V Down- This will be a close one I think. Down have the more quality imo and should progress. Down by 3
Wicklow V oor ma- Really tough one to call this one. In the last game Mick o's men gave oor ma a hell of a tough time but they still face a decent side who will be looking to put right what went wrong last week. Part of me says mickla can go one better than last week and progress but I've still got a feeling that the day will belong to oor ma. Ard mhacha by 5
Ulster
Derry V Donegal- Depite being without the Bradley's I think Derry can still play better football and can produce a winning performance on the day.
Derry by 4
Connacht
Roscommon V Mayo- Roscommon have been good so far but I feel Mayo will be too much for them and they are coming off the back of a victory over Galway. Mayo by 7

No draws!
Just watching last week's football...Dublin were very wobbly. I don't know what came over them. And Ben Brosnan looks like he should be a tennis player with his big blonde bouffant

Re: Weekwnd's Football Predictions
I think Antrim were far more competitive last night than the result suggests. Antrim trailed by a mere point at H/T and actually led by a point about 10 minutes into the second half but Down had a wee 5 minute spell were they essentially hit 2-2 to 0-0 and the Saffron heads went down. Shame really as it looked like a close and exciting finish was on the cards. Maybe Antrim's concentration slipped a bit when they took the lead? Having said that the Down forwards can be deadly and difficult to watch for a whole 70 minutes. Good luck to Down next week - Given half my family is from Down I'll now be supporting the Mournemen for the remainder of The Championship. :-)

Re: Weekwnd's Football Predictions
Derry are frustrated. They can't fly at Donegal as they lie so deep. it is like watching us.....but i expect people will see that on this occasion.
