Well it was another exciting and inspiring weekend of athletics, so many brilliant performances to choose from but what was your absolute favourite?

I like this feature EEB. Agree that yet again we have a lot to celebrate.
Surprised however none of the six gold medalists in the under 23 championships got a mention.
Wonder what others think about that?

Clovis Asong's 47.04 is apparently no.1 on the under 17s all time list ( boys 400m ) - beating the all-time no. 1 performance for the under 20s in the process ( indeed, beating that time by 4 tenths! See Powerof10 ); this is a super remarkable performance and gets my thumbs up

Just checked this and Asong is now third all time in the under 17's (Richardson leads with 46.43) and nowhere near the under 20 record which is actually Martyn Rooney at 45.35.
So very impressive but not quite super remarkable...yet anyway.

I'd personally like to have seen some of our Gold medallists on the list. Sure celebrating PBs are great but we should also be celebrating winners & champions.
No offence intended & congrats on their PBs but do Nadia & Helen really deserve to be on the list ahead of the likes of Holly, Lawrence & Jack Green?

Diggers - thanks for checking
I made the mistake of not checking Powerof10 more thoroughly Hehe
Agree - good performance, but not in the remarkable premier league of performances
