Season ticket sales so far
Scarlets have just released an article here stating they've just sold their 4,000th season ticket of the season so far, and have extended their early bird offer for cheaper season ticket prices until the 5th August.
Just wondering if others know how many season tickets their respective club/province/region have sold so far.
For the Scarlets I think 4000 tickets right now is great, and with a few weeks still to go, aiming for the 5000 ticket mark would just be amazing for us I think.

Dreamer - seeing that the Scarlets have sold another record (for them) amount of tickets (as they did last season) I wonder if people will stop the general whinge about a so called decline in interest in regional rugby.

Dreamer - haven't seen anything from the Ospreys yet, but their Early Bird offer doesn't expire until the 11th of August, so maybe they'll give out some figures after that.

SS - we can but hope!
Mick - holy cow! although I guess some of them could be *cough*bandwagon*cough* supporters
In all seriousness though that's an amazing amount to have sold already, shows that although the Scarlets are selling more each year, we've still got a looong way to go.

In fairness, it sold out last year, so most people are going to renew theirs. That’s all I’d read into it. it will sell out quicker this year (though not yet), but I don’t expect a massive jump in attendance.

Mickado - I doubt being Heineken Cup champs for a second time, and a rugby world cup year did any harm either

yeah but your attendances are still way above what any Welsh region are getting, gives us something to aim for at least! but I'm still glad the Scarlets are improving their figures each year, can only be a good thing.

6 or 7 years ago we only got 5 or 6k at a match. From small acorns grow mighty oaks!

Dragons are up, I know that much. I don't know if Blues will rise and I think maybe Ospreys might drop a little possibly because of the Swans promotion.

I suspect Glasgow and Edinburgh have sold about 7 tickets between them.

I wonder how Connacht will be doing in this regard with the HCup news and if Ulster are doing better considering their 1/4 final and 1/2 final exploits. Last season Ulster took a Massive step forward I felt.

The Glasgow one saves very little money to be honest. I had a quick look a few days ago and you're basically only saving money if you go to either all or just miss a couple or so. Most people would be unable to make a couple anyway so you may as well just buy them for each game.
Just checked, you get 16 games for £180. Tickets are £15 each normally so you get four free games if you get to them all. Not quite as bad as I thought, but this is during the "sale"!
