Who is the worst dressed player on tour?

I think it is either Ian poulter with his checked trousers and silly coloured jumper or Rickie Fowler(who my daughter thinks looks like a girl)with his stupidly coloured clothes,especially his Sunday best

I'd go for Luke Donald. The pastel combinations are dreadful. McDonut also deserves a dishonorable mention for those pot belly highlighting cardies.

I'd also like any man over the age of thirty that wears a pair of white trousers or has highlights in their hair to ask themselves what they think they look like.

Surprised no ones mentioned all the trainer-sock wearing golfers yet... they look ridiculous with trousers.

Come to think of it, golf shoes are quite a strange piece of attire, they can be anything from a spatz like loafer to something resembling a running shoe.

I think the problem with your theory is that people who are in the depths of depression lose the ability to sit back and say "Oh look, Im actually OK as other people are dying of starvation" , you lose the ability to look at your life clearly and see any positives....in fact to see anything clearly at all. Small problems become massive, you lose all sense of perspective. Clearly if it was as simple as being able to have a bit of a pep talk with yourself then suicide rates would probably be a lot lower.

Diggers/Navy, I think this might be getting a bit heavy for a light hearted golfing forum, fuelled in the main by myself. I'm not the type of person that see these types of things as problems in my life but I just don't like the way that society just accepts these things and judges them differently. It's okay to be overweight but not okay to smoke, if you are addicted to drugs then you are a victim that needs more drugs and support to get straight, social alcoholism is good fun but whiskey with breakfast is a problem etc etc.

As I said though, bit much for a golf forum...

If I am unfortunate enough "to be in a place where I can relate to those people" it will be because of something that isn't a result of my own actions.
I'm only talking about fatness and addiction to smoking, something which can be very easily remedied to those who exercise restraint. I deliberately distanced myself from everything else.

Twould be a very dull world if we were all as self-disciplined as s_r.

I'm certain that it would be Gael, but the point is it doesn't take much discipline, so people who complain about being fat and blame everything but themselves have no basis for an argument.

I Think the worst dressed golfer is Steve Stricker, very bland shirts with what looks like staypressed collar, the type you used to find in the pros bargain bucket. Non bespoke flanel breeks and the most dullest of shoes (almost like nurses trainers).

Also love the fact Paul Goydos has to wear a round neck ala Duval due to having house roof shoulders !! if he does wear a polo shirt it has to be buttoned to the top just to keep it on, haha
