Fantasy football ?
I have 2 midfield spots left to pick
And with the money left i have narrowed it down to these 5 players
Brunt
Chung Yong lee
Barton
Craig Gardner
Jamie Ohara
all our 6 million in official FF game
Which 2 do you think are best value
thanks in advance

Re: Fantasy football ?
Prob Barton as I imagine he'd play most games and Newcastle will be competitive in most games. (though I personally don't like him can see him being rated quite highly).
Either that of Lee

Re: Fantasy football ?
1 Brunt - He gets goals and assists and plays every game.
2 Barton
3 Lee
4 Gardner -may get a lot of yellows and maybe reds because he's a tough tackler.

Re: Fantasy football ?
I'd go for Brunt and Gardner , the 2 most likely to get you points for scoring and creating goals .

Re: Fantasy football ?
I wouldn't go for Chung Yong Lee now considering he's out for 9 months with a broken leg
Re: Fantasy football ?
Is that Everton lad Coleman not in the same price bracket? Id put him in.

Re: Fantasy football ?
brunt and o'hara for me
brunt takes alot of corners and free kicks and chips in with a few goals, similar with o'hara but he probably chips in with a few more goals from open play

Re: Fantasy football ?
I've got a question.
Which Chelsea players will get the most starts? I'm currently umming and ahhing over any two from Ramires, McEachran, Benayoun and Sturridge.

Re: Fantasy football ?
Ramires, barring an injury is definetly the most likely to get the most starts out of those.
Benayoun is probably the next most likely, I think he'll be used to get the best out of Torres considering their past link up.
I think McEachran won't get too many starts, but quite a lot of subsitute appearences.
I can't see Sturridge getting into the side on a regular basis barring a major injury, I think Torres, Drogba, Anelka and Kalou are all ahead of him in the striking department.
That's my two cents anyway.

Re: Fantasy football ?
After typing Sturridge I then realised my argument for not getting him was Malouda.
I think I'll go with Ramires and Benayoun.

Re: Fantasy football ?
Bolton midfielder Lee Chung-yong will be out for at least nine months after breaking his leg in Saturday's pre-season friendly at Newport County.

Re: Fantasy football ?
strrridge is a big gamble that could pay off though, i can see him playing on the right of a front three, he loves cutting in on his left. whether or not he will get the chance is the problem because i feel he could do a job there

He's played a lot in pre season but Malouda looks a step up on last season and I think Anelka will play on the right with Torres/Drogba down the middle. And we can play a diamond with Yossi behind two strikers, I prefer the 4-3-3 myself.
Re: Fantasy football ?
i dont rate anelka in that postion though, looks dis intrested when playing wide. you need anelka wheres he's best and thats bang in front of goal

Re: Fantasy football ?
Perhaps take Sturridge now whilst his price is cheap and hope a Premier League club gets him on loan. On some fantasy football things you can have subsistutions, so have him as one up until the end of the window?

agreed, he's dirt cheap on the sun dream team but you cants make subs. not to sure how much he is on barcleys one but he's a good one to have on the bench as his price will rise and if he isnt playing doesnt hurt you to much as you can put him on the bench
