What is the worst test side you can come up with, only using players used in the last 20 years?

here is mine:

7)Gareth Hopkins
8)Darren Powell
9)Ian Blackwell

I think in the context of this thread, 'terrible' is meant as a compliment...

Since you are picking the worst side saying that your team is Terrible is a compliment to you mate.All I wanted to say that the players you have selected are terrible and thus deserve to make this team.

didn't we do this with England recently? It depends on whether you criteria is long term mediocrity (such as Devon Smith, Darren Ganga, Nick Knight or Salman Butt on your list - guys who've had plenty of chances but never done anything) or short term nightmare (guys who've been so awful they haven't even had a second chance - Doherty, Kaif, Pattinson from your list for instance). As such I'll pick two teams, and to make life a bit harder I'm only going to pick players in their specialist position:

Long-term mediocrity XI:
Nick Knight (has a century at 6, but opened for a long time and was pretty rubbish at it)
Darren Ganga (how on earth did this guy manage 48 tests?)
Boata Dippenaar (bit harsh as he averages 30, but such a dull player)
Mark Ramprakash (chance after chance, never made it)
Mike Bevan (terrific fielder, useful bowler and the finest ODI batsman of his generation, but a poor test match batsman)
Faveez Maharoof (averages 18 with the bat and 65 with the ball)
Geraint Jones (never a good enough batsman to compensate for his awful keeping, and by the time that had improved teams had worked his batting out)
Ian Salisbury (averaged over 70 with the ball)
Ajit Agarkar (has a test century but a fairly rubbish bowler)
Mohammad Sami (good ODI bowler, averaged 52 in tests)
Wickramesinghe (played 40 tests but never got his average below 40)

Now the short-term nightmare XI:
Steve James
Zahoor Elahi
Floyd Reifer
Chris Adams
Aftab Habib
Gavin Hamilton
Richard Blakey
Ian Blackwell
Xavier Doherty
Martin McCague
Amjad Khan

There's a predominance of England players as I've tended to follow them more through the years...

Is it only me?Most of the posters usually disagree with some of your teams for example Tresco not included in your Best CC 2011 provoked quite a few people.You are misunderstanding me mate.I dont have any personal problem with you.You are a good person.But I wish you give valid justifications to your selections rather than just saying that ''they are my views".If you gave valid justifications you would gain even more respect from us.Trust me mate.

you were about sami mfc, he is an awful test bowler..
