World Trial's
Who is there and watching these? We get a tiny 2 hours in the evening on channel 2 tonight. They are all day events, having been there with the dad and brother in my youth. Strange that the coverage is fairly limited.
Anyway that the action can be followed????

Re: World Trial's
One of the reasons for limited coverage is because the BBC were outbid
by C4 to show the 'Worlds' for the next few years.

Re: World Trial's
May be whoever wins the rights to broadcast the Worlds should also be responsble for 'properly' broadcasting the Trials leading into them...just a thought

Ohoruogu - still a lot of work to do, me thinks
Well done PSD - but something not quite right at the moment in the Women's 400m
Though the 400m relay team should have shot at a possible Bronze at the Worlds - possibly...

Go on Kwakye - well done...good run 11.23 - super first 80m - if she could've held her form over the last 20m, would've been very, very quick indeed!
Good to see her back and in good form

Well done Chambers - he clearly, in my view, made sure he had a safe start. We know how good he can start - super quick out of the blocks, as has been seen in his 60m performances; this eve, holding back, to make sure, especially after MLF

Re: World Trial's
Don't know why commentators/pundits seemed
surprised at PSD winning the 400mW.
Always the one to beat in my books even
allowing for her 400mH heat earlier in the day.
Not a brilliant reflection on our 400m girls though.

Re: World Trial's
Usual parade of commentators etc. which took up the first 15 minutes of last night's 1 1/2 hours action. Virtually no field event coverage. That's the BBC for you.
Slight anti-climax for the 400m ladies. I expected slightly more especially as the conditions seemed good. Good for the relay though.
Men's long jump and 100m sprint didn't disappoint. Shame about MLF's disqualification. I assume they will leave the third place open until next week for him. He might be up against Alaka and Desalau (spelling?) then.

Re: World Trial's
Tamworth had it's first ever national senior champ. Ok if Dia Green had been in it, it may have been different.
