Not for a few months I think, probably around Royal Rumble time.

Hopefully soon !
He will fit into this Cena v Punk feud well in my view
Or he could spice up the smackdown brand as a much needed face ?

I'd prefer for him to stay out of the fued, I don't see what he would add to it and i think everyone that can make it survive are already involved (Including Vince). At the current moment I would see him going on a top heavy heel smackdown roster to play as a #2 Face

SmackDown! needs a main event heel, Sheamus is the clear #2 face on that show

Re: Chris Jericho - Return?
I honestly don't think there is a gap where Jericho isn't at the moment, Raw has been a good show for a while and with the Cena/Punk angle probably taking up most of the screen time, and then The Miz, R-Truth, Del Rio and John Morrison all heading upwards Jericho might actually not help in that situation. On Smackdown I think even after Christian and Orton has finished, Sheamus will hopefully be over by beating Mark Henry and face Christian while Orton could then move on to Henry.
I think at some point in the next few months would be a good time for a return, but right now I think he isn't missed or needed.
I would like to see him return just to see CM Punk rip into him for his dancing.

I'm not really into Jericho anymore, he definitely has the talent to change that opinion but he just comes across as yes man who churns out the WWE Line at every opportunity

Re: Chris Jericho - Return?
If i'd have been asked a month ago about a Jericho return i would have been all for it.
But at this moment in time jericho is needed to freshen things up, Raw is enjoyable again at the minute and there is no place for jericho.
Smackdown is the best it's been in long time.
I have a feeling it could be the Rumble before we see a Y2j return.

There's always room for improvement eh? I agree that both shows are as hood as they have been in a while but there is room for an extra programme in there whether it is feuding with The Miz in a face role or putting Del Rio truly over before his soon to be program with the WWE championship. If he was ready for a return I would put him on smackdown to even out the number of 'Big' feuds, I am sure he wouldn't mind putting over some of the younger talent

The punt has put him out for almost a year, the same punt that put Sheamus on the shelf for 2 weeks. o.O

I don't think they're selling the fact that the punt has put him out, as obviously I'm assuming a lot of people in the US know about his game show and the Dancing with the Stars so I doubt WWE are saying that the punt has put him out.

Re: Chris Jericho - Return?
If/when he comes back if the punt is even mentioned he will probably just say that it made him reassess things. That can then be used as a reason for coming back face or the motivation to be a "badder" heel.
