vagas baby
this threat is just so i can get a bit of info, i've always wanted to go and watch a world title fight in las vagas, and i've decided my aim in life next year is to go across the pond and do it.
ive read on here in other posts that froch vs ward tickets are availible for £799 including flights, food, hotel and access to casino. is this correct and if so is this about average pricewise? that is excellent value if so.
anybody been to vagas for a fight? is it worth the money? is it cheaper to book tickets, flights and hotel seperate? also who is the best company to go with, i dont wanna get ripped off from some bogus site, and i know there are a few out there.

Feel free to fly to Vegas for this fight but you may find that you'll need to watch it on a TV somewhere!

Re: vagas baby
I went to 'las vagas' for the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight
Froch v Ward should be a good one and the atmosphere will be great in the 'Atlantic City Hotel' which is on the VERY FAR EAST side of the strip

Re: vagas baby
I went across to Vegas in Feb for a stag do and ended up watching the Donaire fight while I was across.
It cost me £750 for flight and hotel (Monte Carlo) with another £70 for middle west side tickets at the Mandalay Bay (basically in line with ring height wise). That was for a week across there though and some of my mates paid £40 for tickets and the seating was still pretty good.
How many days does the Froch/Ward package give you?.

maybe i should have been clearer. i have no intensions of going to see froch ward, but i do want to go to vagas and watch one fight or another. did you paid for flights/hotels/tickets seperatly or get a deal (like the froch deal)

Ok cool. We booked up separately. Fight tickets were about £260 from Thomas & Mack website (well far back mind). Flight was about £450 (changed at Chicago) and Freemont Hotel was about £70 for 3 nights (that was in April mind prices may vary per season)
Hope that helps

Las Vagas I think he's getting mixed up.
Las Vegas means "The meadows" (in English).
Las Vagas means "the sh**hole". I wouldn't bother going there mate it's a complete rip off!

Yeah I went there as a kid and then to Calzaghe as an adult. Im not a big gambler which basically means Vegas gets boring pretty quick
Iv been to New York a few times and love the place. Went to Calzaghe v RJJ in MSG. Much better trip, much better laugh, would go back to NYC tommorow if I had the money

Cheers, been toying with the idea of heading across to Atlantic City for the fight depending on cash/holidays available.
I remember looking at a Mayweather fight a few years ago and the hotel/flights haven't changed much, its the actual fight ticket prices that wildly vary.

Ah yeah thats right. I was talking to you on the old 606 if I remember before about it
He showed more passion doing that lap around the stadium than our whole team did in the 90 mins

You were terrible. But the game was dead after about 20 minutes, and we gave up trying to attack. Poor game of football.

Never mind. Next season now the greatest squad Cardiff City have had in probably 40 years will compete for a place in the Premiership. Gutted Swansea got there first but we got a proper stadium and proper owners to stay up there. BLUEBIRDS

Don't watch much football really any more. Debating whether to renew membership with England next year, boring qualifying group and dispassionate team. Would like to go to the Brazil WC though.
