Who should be the Welsh wings for the SA match?
Wales wingers for South Africa match?
Aled Brew has had an excellent season and I hope that he gets a chance to have a good run against Argentina. Time will tell wheather he can cope at this level now. For me the most exciting player is the returning Leigh Halfpenny. Halfpenny might not even make the wings as Williams / North are doing well at the moment and both have scored 2 tries each against South Africa in 1 match. He may get to play fullback but I believe Jones will be given the 10 shirt and Priestland has earned his spot at the likely position of 15.

i would definitely start with north and williams. Both have caused south africa problems in the past and psychologically that is a big thing alone.
We've often had one wing for them to be wary of but having north as well brings a whole new dimension to our backs. If he can avoid injury i expect him to make a big impact at the world cup

well as you haven't seen 1/2p in action yet its really too early to set the poll.
1/2ps' boot is also something to take into consideration, at the moment you can't leave North out and Williams also. So I would certainly would be more interested in installing 1/2p at FB if Byrnes form is still down in the mire

yeh north is quite an unknown threat for the SH teams although SA will be wary after the last wales v S.A match. it would be tempting to put north and halfpenny on the wings with shane at fullback or even shane/halfpenny wingers with north full back?

Williams plays everywhere anyway. He is very special.
I think Wales should start with Hook at 12 and move him to 10 in the 2nd half when teams are tired.
Very impressed with Wales spending the entire first half tackling and still came out the fitter of the two.

North and Warburton are my first names on the team sheet - North and Shane - or Eddie and Syd

Long range penalties who better than Halfpenny he certainly needs to be on the bench at least especially if we have a situation that Williams needs to cover the 9 spot.

Long range penalties?
Hook from halfway ring a bell?
Wales have can field an entire kicking backline if they want... Even Shane Williams and Byrne used to take place kicks.

Hook has a good boot on him but he is not regarded as being a long-range kicking specialist like Halfpenny.

I would say that since Williams and North have played in the last 2 games, it would be a daft idea to split/or drop either one of them.

No brainer. Both have scored and assisted in scoring some good tries against SA. Williams and North, what a combo.

I also, like Taff, have stuffed the poll.
Shane/North however are the combo I'd want at the moment.

Back on topic I will go for North/Williams but will still be happy with any other combination they are all quality wingers and no doubt we will see them being mixed and matched during the world cup.

North and Williams IMO are now 1st choice so lets have a look at Brew and Halfpenny.
I think its only fair that Brew gets a decent crack whilst Halfpenny needs game time.
