Ireland injury update
Four Lions, namely Brian O’Driscoll, Gordon D’Arcy, Stephen Ferris and Tommy Bowe, have all been declared fit for Saturday’s return rendezvous with France and at least three of them look likely to feature in the match-day squad announced today. (Bowe is the exception)
Furthermore, Rob Kearney’s scan merely revealed a straight groin strain, meaning he should be training fully, if not playing, by the weekend. With Jerry Flannery having come through 20-minute and 30-minute run-outs back-to-back, the Irish squad appears healthy.

Re: Ireland injury update
Geoff do you think Ferris is ready to start or will he be used from the Bench?
I'd imagine he'll get 20 min vs france and 60 min against England, what are your thoughts?
There seems to be conflicting reports around Bowe. Yesterday it looked like he might not even make the England game and now it seems he's available for this weekend.

I think Bowe will play next week not this.
I do think that serious consideration is being given to starting with Ferris.

It is great news.
Not sure I would start Ferris in the French game, would in the Connacht game but would prefer him to be on the bench against France

Good news,we shouldn't take chances with Bowe so I'd say leave him to the England game.
