Ospreys v Russia, Sunday 21 Aug, KO 3pm
Is anyone going? Ospreylian? JB1973?
I'll be in the East stand. The first couple of months of this season should be interesting -- with the WC players away, it gives the younger/fringe players a chance. It'll also be interesting to see how some of these new props perform!

No he shouldn't. Third choice probably at his region. Iestyn Thomas better and Phil Price is developing nicely.
Not a bad side. Should beat them pretty comfortably. Guess it depends on what is their strongest side, but given that they've lost to Northampton and Dragons by big margins, then it's fair to say that they aren't up to much.

Actually Russia do look quite good, they have a lot of talented players and are a gutsy side. Their also not what you'd expect, I was assuming they'd be a tough forward orientated side, but they play good rugby and throw it about and try to entertain, the problem is their coming up against quality sides all the time and are not used to that standard of rugby, so are making errors at crucial times. I cant speak for the Northampton game, but in the Newport game, Russia were holding their own until the 50th minute, thought they fell away to three quick Newport tries which finished them off. Though they put together some lovely rugby.

These are the sort of games that should be played in North Wales.

Bears to watch Wales vs. Argentina at Millennium Stadium
Before rounding off their week in Wales with a game against the Ospreys in Swansea on Sunday, the Russian National team will again be guests at the Millennium Stadium today, where the 35-man touring squad will be sat in VIP boxes to watch Wales take on Argentina.
CNN will film the event and the Russian team will be shown on the big screen inside the stadium.
The Bears also watched Wales defeat England last week when a 70,000 crowd created an incredible atmosphere inside the stadium.
The Russians will be joined at the game today by their coaching team, which includes several Welshmen including National Teams Director Kingsley Jones and Conditioning Coach Paul Pook.
The squad this week benefited from some additional input from another Welshman - British & Irish Lion and Welsh prop legend Darren Morris, who has been helping the Bears with some front row insight.
Russia this week also passed on some of their own know-how, holding a coaching clinic with local schoolchildren in Cardiff.
After the game it will be back to preparing for tomorrow's match against a strong Ospreys team, which will be the final chance for Head Coach Nikolay Nerush to finalize his Rugby World Cup squad ahead of Monday's deadline for naming the 30-man party to travel to New Zealand.
