Don't like it personally but it's his choice and not for me to judge however much I'd like to. I'm not in that position, so don't know all the details.

He lives down the road from me. I went to see him get capped v Wales in the Autums. Nice lad - I think it shows the value of a professional contract with his club TBH - That is now his livelyhood but he has age on his side.

True but the whole point of rugby is that Test rugby is supposed to take precedence over the club game.

Nacewa did the same too didn't he? Made himself unavailable to focus on his Leinster rugby. A shame for Fiji, but it's up to the individual. It's a long time away from home for those with young families, etc.

I think the whole point of rugby is that it is now professional and precedence for many is securing a livelihood. A shame for the fans and those nations that suffer. however.
