Exeter Chiefs - the future of the England backline?
England u18s just beat an Australian u19 side,
England u18s
and did so with the following 10-15:
15 Jack Nowell (Truro College & Exeter Chiefs), 14 Marcus Webber (Manchester Grammar & Leeds Carnegie), 13 Sam Jones (Ivybridge College & Exeter Chiefs), 12 Sam Hill (Ivybridge College & Exeter Chiefs), 11 Jack Arnott (Ivybridge College & Exeter Chiefs), 10 Henry Slade (Plymouth College & Exeter Chiefs).
For one academy to supply 5 of the 6 is very impressive. It wil be interesting to see how far up the structure this group can stay together. Exeter also supply Luke Cowan-Dickie, a hugely promising LH, and 6 out of 15 is well beyond the call of duty.
Although strictly for the International forum, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Barrow and Sisi develop in the pack - they are monsters.

Dave, chuffed to bits for the youngsters, really hope that the structure that the Chiefs have put in place for them keeps these young lads around Sandy Park for years to come - looks like they enjoy playing together, and hopefully we'll get to see them get some Amlin and LV= Cup game time this season

That can only be good news for Exeter! I'm pleased that a real rugby area of England is now hopefully going to be taken advantage of on a national level. Also well done to England u-18s!

Good for the Chiefs if they can become self sustaining in terms of playing staff in the top division.
DaveM, I think Sisi will get some gametime for London Irish this season. Was promoted from the AASE side to the full academy in the summer and will certainly play in the LV Cup.
Looks a very good prospect.

We already are!! Apparently Glaws were looking at Nowell recently. As we gave them Fozzy, it's only fair if they give us him!
