Evra Signs a New Deal
Patrice Evra has become the latest Manchester United player to pledge his future to the club after signing a new contract until 2014.
The evergreen Ryan Giggs agreed a one-year extension at Old Trafford before the weekend and Evra has now put pen-to-paper with the Premier League leaders.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had suggested on Friday there was 'nothing to report' following rumours that Evra was about to sign a new long-term contract.
However, the Red Devils have confirmed the full-back has ended any lingering doubts about his future by accepting an extension.
Evra has made 226 appearances for United since his 2006 arrival from Monaco and the France international is happy to be staying at the club.

Re: Evra Signs a New Deal
Remember when he joined in the January transfer window with Vidic and everyone thought Fergie had bought a right pair of idiots!

Re: Evra Signs a New Deal
I thought he was going to leave after the Wayne Rooney contract affair. I am so glad he did not take the bait and end up at Real Madrid. He seems to love the club and I would like to think he will see out the rest of his career at United.
