British Boxing to go bust?
Frochy is scheduled for Ward in October. Let's be real, Frochy was gifted a decision against Dirrell and Taylor was 10 seconds away from a UD. SOG Ward is gonna give Carl a bit of venom.
IF Khan faces the winner of Erik-Lucas, Lucas could spell trouble. Either way, Khan is an accident waiting to happen.
Haye. We'll leave it there.
And Burns is going down the typical Warren WBO route. When he steps up we'll see how good he really is.

I agree Froch got lucky against Taylor, if the fight had been the traditional 11 rounds 45 seconds instead of the frankly ridiculous 12 round distance that it was in that fight and that fight only the result would have been quite different.

Can't fault your logic there, I agree. We should scrub this result from Carl's record as punishment for winning inside the sheduled distance.

I think Burns is fighting Fana, not sure he wants Broner. Could be wrong though. Nelson swore at me for suggesting he wouldn't fight Broner.

Hope you're wrong Scott, Fana is still a good fight but Broner would silence the critics, myself included.

Did he swear like calling you a name or just threw it in mid sentence?

Going bust..I think it's in the best shape it's ever been....
Cleverly, Price, Froch, Mitchell, The sheffield black lad (sorry can't remember his name), Burns, Khan......all look real good.

Brook.
Agree with TRUSS, and at least they are getting title shots now even if some fall short. Stupid to write off Khan too who looks better each time out.
This year Hatton/Rhodes-Alvarez, Barker-Martinez, Macklin-Sturm, Haye-Klitchsko, Khan/Froch/Burns/Cleverly with titles, with quite a few looking on the edge.
Very negative article.

Would also add Degale who will come again and Gavin if he treats the Woodhouse fight as a wake up call, think there are more than enough reasons to be positive.

Re: British Boxing to go bust?
agree with truss, think cleverly will still hold the title next year, though probably wont fight A list opponents, you dont become WBA and IBF champion by accident, khan is quality, whether as good he thinks he is is another question, but think he would handle morales or mattyesse. i think froch has a decent chance over ward, and even if he lost can see him picking up butes belt if he could get the fight, or even kessler presuming he wins stieglitz. burns could win fana, broner will be tough admittedly. macklin, brooks, barker, perez, price, mitchell, degale and groves, frampton, fury, theoplane, mccloskey, rees, gavin, muroe, crolla, afolabi and probably a few more im forgeting are all doing well and i expect them to continue that into 2012, and i can see a quite a few of the challenging for world honours, and would be suprised if at least 2-3 of them dont win a world title. personally i think british boxing is the best its been since i remember.

Re: British Boxing to go bust?
I think Ward will beat Froch as well but to call Froch lucky is ridiculous. Khans a good champion who would beat Matthysse (not sure how it's spelt) comfortably he's a poor man's Maidana. Burns beat the best at his weight but he won't beat Broner. Cleverly doesn't deserve to be called a World champion until he actually beats a decent fighter.
Talents like Gavin, Brook, Saunders and Price look very good along with Stephen Smith who has impressed in his short career also.
