A wide variety of formats and plenty of opportunity for players to maintain form and performance. Hearn and his colleagues are certainly delivering what players and fans want, with the possible exception of Ebdon. This opinion of Ebdon is solely based on comments made recently at the Welsh Open regarding the best of 7 formats.

Higgins was talking briefly about the Scottish chances in next seasons World Cup event. There will be some lively debate on this forum when that is being played, for sure.

I for one miss the nations cup which was a world cup type event, so im really happy to see the return of this event

Maybe one of those ranking event slots maybe the return of the Irish Masters or the British Open.

Currently 'Power Snooker' is not on the calendar, this may change though as this list is only the provisional.
