Some are ok but mostly they are so pants it's unreal...
Prison Break, when it got poor - Lost, from when it got poor - Stargate, was embarassing - Caprica, oh God... - House from when it got bad - Rescue Me, I don't need to say anything - Father of the pride, absolute tosh - A Town Called Eureka, cringeworthy television and Fringe all p!ss poor.
But to be fair Sky Atlantic has the real quality television so fair play to them for that.

Caught 45 minutes of one episode and it reminded me very much of Spooks, not just because it had an actor from it. I even think the plot (Held hostage in a hotel by foreigers) was used in Spooks as well. Didn't really do much to interest me though.

It could be worse than Sky1 it could be some of the BBC's awful programs like Dr Who, Torchwood, Merlin etc, now thats some trully bad tv.

And 2 out of 3 programmes you mentioned are normally aimed at a completely different audience. Very Happy

I'd say recently BBC have started to produce and show some good drama and comedies.

I wasn't particular going on the audience just the quality of the shows in question. BBC do produce some good drama's and on occasion a good comedy but often accompanied by many bad such offerings. Very Happy

I'd say Doctor Who and Merlin are two of BBC's strongest shows for the autumn, will admit this series of Torchwood has been painfully disappointing. But I suppose it depends on what your taste in TV is.

It often will do and something like Dr Who I've never been a fan of through any season's. Merlin I gave a chance to and was often left disappointed by the poor stories and predictable setups but thats just my taste.

Enjoyed the BBC 2 show The Hour which is just finished, not the best tv I've ever seen and could have been more cohesive in certain areas but a good offering nonetheless.

I'm a massive fantasy/science fiction fan which was why I was so disappointed in the likes of Dr Who and Merlin in many ways. Very Happy

I thought The Hour was fantastic, but seemed to not make the most of everything it had going for it. Hopefully the second series of it will deliver something with more punch.
