Have recorded sundays episode(although I see its on tonight).
First 2 episodes have ben quality.
Some new charachters in this season.
Charles Dance is in this series.
Looking set to be another great season.

Robson Green's in it isnt he? I thought last series in Africa was not as good but hoping for something good this series. Also the five minute sex scenes, which are thrown in basically every episode, just to fill time, make me laugh.

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
Loved series 3 (first one I've watched) and got totally hooked!!
New series opener the other night was great. Can see Robson Green being a really good character in this, like Mallory in the new Bond.
Was a little light on sex scenes this episode, love that they've followed GOT's lead with plenty of sex and nudity. Basically the perfect programme!!

This season looks great, much better story than Knox last year. Looking forward to the rest of the series
Yeah, plenty more pointless sex scenes with Scott n some fit birds to come I expect. Agree, Robson Green could be good in this.

Great start to the series.
Love this show, probably my favourite out of the fair few i watch.
Stonebridge & Scott are 2 of the best characters on tv for me. Great chemistry.
Never saw the first series, have watched Project Dawn & Vengeance.

Clunes didn't last long
Thought the episode was a bit disappointing if I'm honest, some dodgy script throughout. Interesting ending though, see how it develops.
Scott's bird is dead, sure he'll find a replacement within a couple of episodes

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
Not bothered about Clunes only having a tiny role, am definitely enjoying Robson Green's character though.
Glad Scott's missus copped it, never warmed to her character and thought it a bit tacky of the scriptwriters to bring her back.
Roll on next week........!

Yeah did'nt think Clunes was suited to this kind of show.
Just remember his character from Men Behaving Badly.

Dalton is Wee weeing me off, just annoying
What's with the Dougray Scott sex scenes?
At least fishing rod/channel 5 man is in charge from now on.

Didnt take Scott long to get his leg over:)
Another good episode.
Who do people prefer, Scott or Stonebridge.
Scott for the comedy value.
Stonebridge for the kick ass value.

Dalton is peeing me off too, nice to see her get dumped. Hopefully she won't take too much script time up.....
Liking Scott's new bird too, much hotter than the last - just a pity they kept the tatas covered up, they looked superb!
No pref between scott and Stonebridge, your summaries are correct and that's why they make the perfect due on balance.

They play their parts very well to.
Nailed the accents perfectly.
Not heard of either of them before this show.
Only realised half way through Project Dawn, that Sullivan Stapleton (Scott) is Australian. Philip Winchester (stonebridge) is American.

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
I heard his mother is English, probably why he can get the accent right. Apparently, he lived and worked in London in his 20's or something, attending the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. I don't think a full American could do as good a job as he does.

Sullivan Stapleton (Scott) was in Gangster Squad and the Stone Cold Steve Austin film The Condemned , and Winchester was Scott Tracy in the awful Thunderbirds movie

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
Bizarrely, immediately following this news blowing my mind, the same evening I caught what must be one of the only CSI MIAMI episode I've never watched and guess what??
IT HAD STONEBRIDGE IN IT!!!
Sooooooooo weird seeing him play a natural Yank, especially as he looked much younger and a more 'boyband' haircut.

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
Yeh, same, couldn't believe the double-whammy - a CIS Miami I hadn't seen before AND Stonebridge!!
He looks NOTHING like he does in Strike Back. Looks almost 10 yrs young, less stacked, boyband haircut. It wasn't till half way through the show that I recognised him.
The episode is about a bunch of college kids re-enacting a GTA style computer game in real life. Stonebridge plays the owner of the company that produces the computer game.

Dalton is dead - Rhona Mitra removed
Leatherby is dead - Dougray Scott removed
Now let's bring on the real action, although I fear death is sooner rather than later for our boys if this is the last series!

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
I quite liked Rhona Mitra. Thought she played Dalton well.
Leatherby was'nt anything special.
Think I heard there is one more series after this.
Cant kill scott & stonebridge, not even at the very end.
Think it will be a happy ending for them.

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
I know you shouldn't get emotional about works of fiction, but I got really angry and frustrated at last night's ending.
Definitely getting worried about Stonebridge too lol call me simple, but just like having two kick-ass soldier guys. Don't want that ruined.
- Spoiler:
- Really liking Lock's character and knowing he's going to spend the next episode or two playing the victim/captive is/was a let down. Plus I don't like the circumstances of the snatch, thought Lock with have the authority and the gonads to tell that stuffy Tinkywinky to do one. Felt like it was just shoe-horned in.

The chemistry is one of the best in tv.
Amusing in the ambulance, Scott was giving him a hard time.

I liked the bit in the car were Stonebridge was being serious about the pressure of being the best and how maintaining being top of your game was the thing that is the downfall .
and Scott just looked at him and said it wasn't a problem ( then the aw thanks mate glance ) before Scott said ' Your nowhere near at the top of your game '

Re: Strike Back: Vengance
Just seen this weeks episode. Classic Scott throughout in the car & the ambulance. Yeah, glad the hostage situation was sorted quickly n not slowed down through talking scenes etc. That assistant woman recovered pretty quickly from those mortar blasts at the end & then gave Scott the number for his ex. Be interesting to see what happens there, should end Scott's drought!
Looks like we're off to Russia for a big finale....

Bit of a filler episode I thought this week in the prisons, leading up to the season ending. Interesting to see how it all unfolds with Kamali
Also, I don't think it will be too long before Scott has that new blonde in bed. See it a mile off, while Stonebridge get's some medical attention
